This place has soooo much potential. It’s not terrible by any means. I had one of the better cabins than my friends. However- no one ever answered my emails, the pool was not open, and the beach area was dirty. The road to get to this place will tear your car up if you don’t have a truck or suv. This place needs a lil more TLC and better marketing/communication. Until then I would find an Airbnb. Also there is no handicap access to the beach area.
This is a great place to visit. A collection of tiny houses right on the lake. Our home had a room with queen bed (very comfortable). There is a small room with bunk beds. A loft with a twin that my youngest son loved. There was also a futon style couch in main area. Full size bathroom and kitchenette. Very modern. We had a great time playing at the beach (the lake water was so warm), fishing, kayaking and swimming. Large, clean pool was allot of fun. So many sitting areas with great views of the lake. Fire pit. Kayak rental right on property.
My wife and I booked room back in May for our anniversary. We checked in ‘after hours’ we got there around 7:00-7:30. Spoke with Lerone (very helpful.) he said not to worry about doing the check in process until the morning. Showed us to the Tiny Cabin (don’t stay in this one.) After getting out stuff into the room and getting settled, found several huge spiders in the cabin. Later that evening we went to use the shower and the shower was stopped up and ran into the floor. When turning on the hot water to use the sink or the shower, the smell was wretched. We called and asked if we could move to another room and the lady I spoke with said to let her check and she will would call is back. Called back and said that there were no other rooms available. So we dealt with it until morning. We go to get into the bed and found hair in the dirty bed sheets. Called and spoke with Lerone and said there were extra sheets in one of the baskets. So we changed the sheets.Woke up the next morning to walk around the ‘resort’ and nothing was set out, all of the chairs to sit in were put up because of Covid. Found Lerone in the morning to check in and just asked if we could get a refund. The room was dirty. The water smelled like something was wrong and there was hair in the dirty bed sheets. He took down my information and said he would refund our money for 2 nights.Waited 5 business days. Nothing. Sent emails to Lerone explaining what is going on. He replied back and said he would request a refund to Red Awning again. He copied me in on the email. 5 days later, nothing. Disputed the charge with my cc company. They refunded us the money, then the next billing cycle Red Awning declined the dispute and charged us again. I have sent more emails back to Lerone and to red awning. No response.Lerone was helpful and attempted to help us get a refund with Red Awning. This ‘resort’ isn’t anywhere I would recommend any of my friends or family staying. If Red Awning manages any other properties I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying at those properties either. My next step is with the BBB.
We got married at Long Cove Resort September 21st, 2019. It was amazing! The facilities, the cabins, the pool, the beach, the vibe and the staff were all outstanding and meticulous and it couldnt have turned out better. It wasnt a traditional wedding in that we had the resort essentially for the entire wedding weekend. Out of town guests stayed in the cabins and everyone had rave reviews for Long Cove Resort. Working with the staff was pleasant and they always went the extra mile to make sure our wedding weekend was amazing. I cant say enough good things about our experience and I would highly recommend it for anyone getting married with out of town guests.
We absolutely love this place!Cabins are very quaint and clean with lots of room to spread out, considering this is a tiny home amenity!Internet was great considering the remote location... We watched a few Netflix movies during our stay, once it loaded (3-4 minutes) it worked perfectly. The beach access is beautiful and a perfect place for a cook out, playing frisbee, enjoying the water and basking in the sun.
Showed up at this place to explore the tiny houses they rent, with the interest in staying there sometime in the future. It is a half-hour from my daughters homes and it would be a great place to enjoy the grandchildren at.I was impressed with the young woman that dropped everything to give me and my husband on a golf cart. The tiny houses directly overlooking the lake are the best location. There is one 2 bedroom with a loft for kids that would fit my needs. The porch surrounding that 2 bedroom unit was wonderful for hosting a number of people. Available was a barbecue and lots of chairs and a nice view. Their are pictures of a studio unit that is one room with no stove. The pictures will give you some sense of the inside of some of the units, including a 1-bedroom unit.
Beware when making reservations at this resort! You will be given a cabin number and your credit card will be charged for that cabin. Upon my arrival on June 26, 2020 my cabin was changed to a cabin that cost $171.00 less and I was told I would be given an adjustment by management. I wanted my original cabin I reserved and was told it was given to someone else who arrived a day earlier because his was not ready! Despite being told my bridal party agreed to the change, they didn’t pay for my cabin I did and I traveled 8 hours to get there. Almost 2 months later they have not given me an adjustment! My bank card said since I don’t have reservation numbers for all the changes they can’t help, try to handle it with their management. They refuse. Don’t give them your money!!
Knee deep mud, terrible road. No management. A crane got dropped in a trench outside my rental. Water shut off twice in unit, no notice. Beach nonexistent. Terribl experience. Guys grading road not only dumped a loader over, but were burying rakes and shovels in road! Absolute disaster.
Long Cove Resort is amazing!! The cutest mini homes with plenty of space and amenities! A private beach with a lake that allows for great swimming & relaxation. On top of that, the views for the sunrise & sunsets and boat watching are incredible!! We also really enjoyed the fire pit areas and grilling we had. It was a lot like “glamping”. The staff went above & beyond to help my family have an unforgettable weekend for a surprise 30th birthday and proposal! We will definitely be coming back and now have memories for a lifetime of our weekend stay here!
This place was a perfect getaway. The location is fantastic, youre right on the water and its quiet, but not isolated. However, the one negative is a deal-breaker for us to return. POSITIVES: The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels and pillows, and the tiny loft was a huge hit with the kid. The decor is minimal, non-invasive, and works perfectly in the space. Parking is right next to the house.BONUS: Long Cove stocked the cabin with their own brand of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, and dish soap - and plenty of all, no itty bitty bars. NEGATIVES: To get to the cabin, you must first prove your worth by sacrificing your cars alignment to a seemingly endless pothole obstacle course. The driveway feels a mile long and there is no way to navigate it without hitting some serious holes. If you read other reviews, youll see this has been mentioned many times for the last few years, and Long Coves response is they were taking care of it. That has not happened and theres no indication any repairs or work are in queue. Long Cove convinced me that tiny houses can be a perfect vacation home. Wed love to go back, but we wont until theres evidence theyve fixed the driveway. Ill be watching reviews - I hope they follow through on their promise.
Beautiful, serene placeGreengi BoatRides gave us an amazing experience.
Caution: Access road is dirt and over 1/4 mile long filled with potholes. Pool is currently closed. Beach is not kept clean. Construction materials littered throughout the property. That being said, the cabin was nice, clean and very functional. Lake and area are beautiful. Problems would not keep me from going there again, just that people should be aware of the current issues especially with low sitting vehicles.
Omg beautiful and so peaceful!!! Lakefront location with beach like feel. This place is a hidden gem! Excluded, yet still in the city. Our internet and ceiling fan wasnt working and within a couple of hours, it was fixed. Staff was amazing! The tiny cabin was so clean and well equipped with basic essentials. We had a lovely time. Ill definitely be back!!
My family and I booked a weekend getaway and the parking and beach were full of mud. I understand there was a bad storm days prior but we booked our stay so we could enjoy the lake/ beach and the beach was Full of debris and NO SAND! I called several times to see about some type of refund and was told they would look into it and return my call. I haven’t heard anything in response!
Stunning views wonderful omnience. Wonderful tiny homes with great amenities, with a full size fridge and a very large microwave. Bathroom is wonderful and does not feel compact even with 5 people in one tiny house. We were still very comfortable, we had two bedrooms and a loft area that was accommodating for all of our needs. Land area was very clean and maintained, but down by the beach there was trash and garbage from where the water had washed trash to the shore. If that could be maintained a little bit better it would be a little nicer. One morning we took a trash bag out and picked up all the trash around the Beach area and came back with a full trash bag. I really enjoyed our time here at Long Cove and plan on coming back sometime soon.
My family has been members of long cove for several years to dock our boat, and we have NEVER encountered the extremely disappointing and poor management until recently! Not only is their communication horrendous to inform the members of parking pass requirements, but they have towed our car to make money off of it The staff is either poorly trained or pushes off responsibility with excuses because we stopped into the office to get our new sticker parking pass just before going out on the boat, in which we were NOT told where to place the sticker, so we placed in the rear window. AFTER a $300 tow bill, we were told it was to be placed in the front drivers side windshield. In communicating with the towing company, we were told that someone from long cove called to have us towed and that long cove also receives most of the towing money. While speaking to management about a refund for the wrongful towing, because the parking sticker was ON the car, we were told it was our fault and NO refund would be given. I can not believe the amount of excuses this company has come up with and then has the nerve to say “they look out and take care of their members”. That is the biggest slap in the face they could have ever said. Not to mention the bathrooms are gross with clogged toilets and standing water, the road is so rough it could take a tire out, and the pool that we also pay for is never open! This place is tragically going downhill fast, and I hope others decide to enjoy lake Wylie in a different way because this place is a complete waste of money!
WOW! What a beautiful location. Tucked back in the woods right on the lake. They had so many amenities to offer. The best part was the tiny home itself. It was neat, clean and gave a unique experience. The staff were wonderful as well!! We will be coming back and highly recommend this beautiful resort of tiny homes.
We just enjoyed our end of the year/ring in the new year family vacation at Long Cove and we simply enjoyed every bit of this place. Our family of 5 enjoyed this cozy and very comfortable tiny cabin. The cabins are very clean and very well kept. The staff is super friendly and very helpful and checked in on us every now and then just to make sure we were ok. I love the location; it’s serene and peaceful and tucked away from the busyness yet it was close to anything you may need and a simple drive away from the city and any fun-filled adventure that NC brings. We will definitely be visiting again!
I am currently awaiting a refund from GINA! Our visit on July 24th-26th at cabin #15 was unacceptable and we were told a refund would be issues in 3-5 days. Come to find out airbnb listing fraudulent and we were scammed. Its been 6 days. I will be contacting the BBB. This whole management is a joke. Tiny houses would be cute if they were clean and had better management. I wont be returning. Not worth it. Not to mention the damn alignment youll need after getting down there.
We booked a vacation at this resort more than a month in advance and paid in full, and they cancelled our reservation without letting us know. We had not received any info about check in so we called on the day that we were supposed to check in, and thats when we found out. By that time all cabins everywhere were fully booked so our vacation was ruined. Very upset!
LOVED THIS PLACE, AMAZING VILLAGE ON THE LAKE. GREAT OWNERS A MUST VISIT...
I loved the quaint, quiet coziness of the tiny house and the beautiful scenery. The staff were so friendly and the area has lots of things to do.
Long Cove was way cooler when I was a kid & it was more family oriented than fancy.
It was a quiet restful winter getaway. I will definitely be back in warmer weather to take advantage of the lake and pool.I agree with another reviewer that the road leading to the cabins is very rough bit maybe that is out of their control.
Unorganized booking, they never answer their phone and all email replies are one sentence without a signature. I booked 25 cabins for the guests at my wedding and once I booked 7 rooms they did a rate increase. They said it makes it in demand for that weekend so the price goes up. My guest did not understand why they were paying so much and no one from Long Cove would help me. After three months of trying to go back and forth with Long Cove management and Red Awning we finally had to cancel our stay with them.
The road leading to the cabins is in need of repair. We were hoping to swim in the pool, but it was not inviting at all, the beach was nice. There are a lot of cabins being crowded into the space, any view was blocked by new cabins being placed. They didnt use fitted sheets on the bed and they kept coming undone. We only had one bath towel when we checked in, they did bring us more, but no kitchen towels. The staff was nice. The cabins are cute, but we didnt feel like this was a good value for a weekend trip. The location is good, close to a lot of fun things to do. We would not recommend this. Its not terrible, its just okay at best.
The property was absolutely amazing! It was the perfect getaway - all tucked in a snuggly cabin of your own! Amazing customer service and such a clean gorgeous property! This will definitely be a routine getaway for me and my family!
Fix the road... fix the road.. fix the road. Im a ride share driver. I will not return here.
The cabin that we stayed in was adorable. My only issue was the soap dispensers in the bathroom were dirty themselves (just soap scum build up). Otherwise they checked via email if we needed anything multiple times during the trip, had an otherwise cleanly building, and had plenty to do had it not been raining. I’m guessing this is out of the resorts control but be prepared for the drove down. The road is extremely rough and filled with bumps and pot holes.
Amazing experience, great amenities, clean and comfy rooms. Third time going and will continue to go, love this place.
I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I had family in town for the weekend and found this place to be a lot better than a hotel. The kids loved it and the adults got the cabin experience all at a great price.
My family and I had a great time. We lived the view and the small cottage was great for two adults and 5children. We had privacy in such a small house. Cleanliness was great. We checked in late and was able to do that easily. We recommend extra towels but other than that it was a perfect vacation for us. Thank you staff and housekeepers for such a great stay!
We had the best time ever... and only minutes from home. The staff was warm and friendly, going the extra mile to ensure our enjoyment. The scenery was breathtaking and filled with everything we needed to recharge and reboot from corporate America. We LOVE the tiny homes, and plan to return every month. We felt like celebrities while watching fireworks off the lake. This is the new... Our Place.
The cabin was dirty. Within an hour of arriving my wife was disgusted by the amount of someone elses hair on each of our bedrooms beds comforters, we removed all comforters and decorative pillow for the rest of our stay, gross. Our children were finding hairs and dirt all over the floor. My wife fortunately found a broom and was able to clean up the floor in the kitchen/common area and in one of the bedrooms. I was excited to show my son the loft area and found a dirty tissue that looked like it had been up someones nose. My 1 year old daughter probably would have put it in her mouth had I put her up there without looking.I went to make my first pot of coffee in the cabin on our 2nd morning and found a dried out coffee bag/grounds from whoever had the cabin before us.Dirty pillow, dirty around our toilet, the air conditioning unit in my sons room had some stains on the bottom from god knows what. My wife found a clothing tag or something on the bedding that read EXCLUSIVEUpon checkout you need to throw away your own trash bag on the way out. This explains a lot, I dont think they have a proper cleaning staff. It was not an enjoyable stay.
The cabin was adorable, well equipped, and so cozy. The beach area is beautiful and clean with lots of chairs, fire pit, etc. and the pool is wonderful. Check in and check out are so easy and the owner’s contact was amazing, always checking to make sure we were having a wonderful stay. We did a girls weekend here but I plan on bringing my kids back for a weekend in the next few weeks as well. So fun to feel like we were on a true beach vacation only minutes from home!
This place is great. Highly recommend! We will certainly be back.
Owners and staff were very good communicators and made sure everything was as it should be. We had a very peaceful stay! I would definitely go back!
Loved the tiny house! Clean, comfortable, and cute! Really convenient to the airport, too, so this works for business travel! Cant wait to go back!
A lovely place with beutiful scenery, huge pool with god lifeguards, place to sit and enjoy nature and solitude, Accommodations very comfortable with ac, great kitchen and bathroom facilities. Quiet evenings. Staff really friendly nd helpful and kind.
Phenomenal trip! Check in and out was a breeze, close enough to the city for adventures, shopping and food. Far enough away for seclusion from the world. I have never been in a tiny home but this trip will become an annual event!
My best friend and I decided we wanted to check out somewhere new for a future vacation so we booked a room online for a one night stay. We stayed in number 38 which was a studio. It was very clean and modern as well as nicely decorated. I was pleased with the accommodations. However we were unable to fully enjoy our stay. We drove two hours to get there and stopped to pick up some items before checking in only to have my card declined. When I booked I was under the impression after calling several times with questions that all fees were included in the price of $108 and some change that was quoted to me online. Only to have my card charged $164.81. I immediately called Long Cove Resort and spoke with a man who explained there is an additional resort fee which was never disclosed online nor over the phone. I called several times with questions before booking directly from their website and nobody ever mentioned these additional fees and my confirmation never reflected these fees. I would have never booked had they been disclosed beforehand because I was sticking to a budget. I explained to him that I was not expecting to be charged that much and never authorized that much to be taken off my card. He didn’t seem like he was very concerned with my issue and we were on the phone for a good 15 minutes before he ever offered any solution, he then offered me a 15% discount (which still didn’t compensate for a nearly $55 difference). We had already driven two hours or I would have just had the whole thing refunded and returned home but I wanted to make the best of it so I agreed to the 15% discount and went to check in. While on the way there I checked my bank account again to see if it had been refunded only to find I had been CHARGED an additional 15%, it was reversed immediately but that meant I still hadn’t received any discount. When I arrived I showed the man and woman in the office what was showing in my bank account and they debated with me what was plainly in front of them. I did not want to stand and argue anymore at this point so I told them if wasn’t in there when I went to check out I’d be sure to let them know. The next day at checkout I still hadn’t received a refund to my bank account so at checkout I made them aware and they assured me my money would be back in there sometime that day. We dealt with another young lady this time who was much more pleasant in demeanor, she offered us a gift bag and a discount for a future stay which was appreciated and was the most helpful and genuine out of anyone I have had contact with. I wish I had gotten people’s names but at the time did not think to ask because I was so frustrated with all of the mess. We returned home and I still hadn’t saw a refund so I called the office again, this time I was told to wait 24-48 hours, which I have. I have been in touch with several different people from Long Cove Resort, and have not received a consistent answer from any of them in regards to the situation. They have sent me screenshots showing that they supposedly refunded my money on 10/12/19 which was when we checked in, but is not showing in my bank account nor as a pending transaction when I called my bank just a bit ago. But everything else from that day showed immediately. I am trying to be patient and at this point I am not so much concerned with the money being refunded as I am concerned with all the hassle and confusion and time I’ve had to spend on the phone trying to resolve this matter, and lack of concern or general knowledge from the employees of Long Cove Resort. Not only do I feel deceived I feel hassled and disappointed because in reality I would have loved to return for a longer stay but not after all of the problems I have encountered. I am not leaving this review to ward off any future guests, just want others to be aware of my experience so maybe it won’t happen to them. I will take my money and my vacations somewhere else in the future.
Okay Rebekah. That was pretty unprofessional on your part, being the owner. Dont forget guys it is $160 a night plus taxes and fees....PLUS a random $60 resort fee. Even tho the tiny homes are nice, your staff is very unprofessional and has extremely poor customer service. That is a reflection of you. That hardly justifies staying there for the view. You never refunded the discount you promised. Just because you put some numbers on your computer doesnt mean anything. Wells fargo and the bank statements do. You charged $164 for the room and then CHARGED the 15% discount...then reversed it back. No other credit was made. We paid $164 for the room. You clearly have something to hide or you wouldnt have been so rude. Maybe you should come back from Arizona and find a more competent staff. Oh and buy some new outdoor chairs on your way back because all the ones we were given were broken. And to stay its not affordable for everyone, that shows your character. It has nothing to do with the money. It has everything to do with the hassle we went through and well as the stupidity of the staff. Im not paying you just to sleep in a bed. Im paying you for a great experience and customer service. I guess maybe if we werent so poor we would have had a better experience is what you are saying. Thank you for all your help and for going above and beyond for us
It’s private with gorgeous panoramic views. Great customer service.
We had a lovely time. The cabin was extremely clean. We didn’t get to swim in the lake, there was to much debris. The pool is nice and clean. It’s 12 ft deep, only downside is it’s only open 12pm-8pm. When you have little ones that wake up at 8am it’s difficult for them to wait 4 hours to swim.
The cabins exceeded my expectations. The little tiny homes were well equipped. The pool was amazing and the lake beach area was very nice. I loved how it wasn’t too big so we could all be in close proximity and keep an eye on the kids. It did rain a lot so it would be nice if there was an indoor lounge space and a small laundromat. But it didn’t take away from the experience. I would definitely love to visit again.
My friends and I enjoyed the cabin and took full advantage of our private lake access. it was extremely fun and extremely quite I’m definitely booking again!!!
My home away from home hands down one of the best marinas. The cove is beautiful its like camping on water. Very clean and lots of activities.
The tiny houses were very cozy and clean!! My favorite part of long cove resort is the many outside sitting areas that it has. It was also big enough for my whole family to sit outside and have dinner together at the picnic tables. Very beautiful and none of the cabins are too far of a walk from the lake, pool, or sitting areas. Definitely will plan another trip soon!
Absolutely awesome place! Our cabin was so nice, and had everything we needed. On the grounds marina, boat rental, kayaking, beach, and Olympic size pool. What more could anyone ask for.
Ive visited this resort twice and was pleased on both trips. There are a few pointers I would like to address. The road to the resort could use some paving. Also we had one remote to the air and heat system in a two bedroom. Instructions on how to use the remote would be helpful. We had to use our own Netflix login on the tv app. Other than that..our trip was amazing.
This place is awesome!!!! The tiny houses are fully furnished down to the opener for your Corona. At least cabin 13 was. Wifi was great had it at the pool and the lake like full signal. The cabanas at the lake were a nice touch. Good job keep up the good work
The property was amazing!!!!! From check in with Matt to checking out and meeting Candy the housekeeper everyone was beyond pleasant. The cabin was absolutely stunning, the lake view was breathtaking. Overall I cant wait to go back during the summer months to enjoy the water activities.
Terriable cominication things didn’t work wry disappointment
Great property. Reminders and check-ins from management very helpful
Panoramic and extraordinary views of the lake and very private. Will definitely be back!
The cabin was super cute and cozy!!! The property is beautiful but there was a lot of garbage around the area. Pipes and construction debris mostly!!! Can tell they have recent worked in the property! It is absolutely beautiful
A magnificent escape with a pool, beach, tables and grills, and marina on Lake Wylie.
This is by far the worse hotel resort i experienced both as employee and as a individual . They have roaches for one and they make big mistakes like giving keys to guest when the room hasnt been cleaned yet. Sandra who was the housekeeper manager is a immature woman who I would spit on if I didnt have any sense. When I expressed my concerns to her in a respectful way she told me I was getting nasty with her. She is very forgetful and is not organize. On top of that these people dont even pay there workers on time sometimes. The cable and wifi is awful. They use firestick. It was just an awful experience . And the office manager there is kinda ghetto as well. She has glasses I forgot her name. Go at your own risk. It might work out or it might not. Dont say i didnt warn you.
So happy we found Long Cove Resort. Made our evacuation from hurricane Dorian still be an awesome vacation!! The staff is super friendly!! We hope to return!!
Great place so close to everything but yet you feel so far away from the hustle and bustle of the area. Our tiny house was perfect for our family of 5. Very clean and great bbq options to cookout, perfect views, pool, mini beach on lake, fire pits. What more can you ask for for a nice little get away!
Beautiful setting to get away. Love it here. Gave us sometime to unwind and just talk to each other
Cozy tiny homes. The layout is comfortable and efficient. Im saying here for about a month and Im liking it. One Im in has 2 rooms and a loft. Its on the lake, quiet, and tucked in a nice wooden area. They offer a cleaning service sort of like a hotel which is nice if you work a lot. Would given it 5 stars but no where to do laundry, and road leading in is more potholes than road.
This place was so peaceful and relaxing. From the amazing staff, the beautiful views and the nicely upgraded cabins this place was perfect. We will definitely will be back. Thank you Rebecca for making our stay there so special.
Lots more fun than staying in a hotel room! Because we’re retired and can travel mid-week, we almost had the whole resort to ourselves. We watched a glorious sunset over the lake from comfortable Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. All of this after you make it down that bumpy road, which was mentioned upfront. Only negative was the highway and air traffic noise.
Cute cabins, friendly staff. Does not have all the amenities of a hotel (24 hour staff, daily housekeeping, etc.) but this is not an issue if you know ahead of time. Had a great, quiet visit.
Great place had a wonderful time here
I originally booked the wrong date on Expedia, the staff was super nice and fixed it for me, they even called Expedia and worked with them to change it. When I arrived the road to the resort was in pretty bad shape but not bad enough that my sports car couldn’t make it if I took it slow. At the end of the road it opened up to a quant area that had a pool, and beach access that had chairs and a bone fire place that looked relaxing, I didn’t get to enjoy it because of how cold it was and I had small children but I look forward to enjoying it in the future. Check in was easy and the staff was very nice and accommodating. There is a resort fee but I was notified in email when I got the confirmation and text the day before arriving. Getting to the cabin I was surprised at how spacious it was considering how small it looked lol. It had two bedrooms with a queen bed in each and the rooms didn’t feel cramped or anything. The resort is conveniently right in the middle of me and my boyfriend so we both can travel equal distance to see each other so we definitely plan to be back in the future.
Great time. Nice place to spend the 4th. Will go back again.
We only stayed two days on our way through but we had a great time in the cabin. The service was very friendly and the cabin was very clean. If we are traveling again through the Charlotte area we will definitely come back.
It was very nice! The lake side view was delightful to wake up every day to!
Adorable cabins. Clean and well maintained. 8 year old daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly. Felt like we were miles away from town but was actually close to restaurants and shops.
Beautiful view. really peaceful
Fantastic location- beautiful cabins with everything you need. Our cabin was on the waterfront with awesome, serene views of the lake and surroundings. Cant wait to come back and especially when its warmer!
An awesome place to unwind! We even watched deer at night out our window by the lake. We rented a boat, some kayaks, and played in the pool. We stayed in cabin 26.
I spent 5 days with my wife for work. This time instead of staying in a hotel I opted for something different. We both loved long cove cabins, this was one of the rare times when pictures didnt do justice. We rented cabin #35, was super clean and specious, had a nice lake view and was also equipped with essentials for cooking. I would stay there again.
The house was cozy and the staff was very attentive! I would definitely recommend them.
This is our 4th time staying here in cabin 6, an we will be back many more timesthis place is amazing, the staff is awesome an so nice an always goes above an Beyond, they make sure anything you need is taking care of to the best of their abilityIt is so relaxing an quiet
This is definitely one of North Carolinas best kept secrets, my fiance and I will be returning with more family. Love the fact that its in the middle of the city so you get the best of both worlds. The Premium Outlets and restaurants are 15 minutes away but the campgrounds are tucked away so well that you do not get the feeling of being in the city. The staff was very sweet and accommodating the cabins are so cute they definitely give you the feeling of tiny homes but the lay out makes it roomy and it gives you everything you need. The only thing that I wish we had more information on was the hiking trails and the date and times for when the Boating Shack is open.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was so cozy, comfortable and super clean and well maintained. David was super nice and generously accomadating. This will definitely be our go to destination for relaxation in our down time.
I really enjoyed my stay here it was very clean and niceThe people are very nice and helpful !A wonderful tiny house experience for vacation or just a night or two to get away from homeYou just got to go check this place out !I will return and stay with them again!
It has a nice quiet beach. The hosts were awesomemlm! Super friendly.
I lovw this place, feels like you are NOT in charlotte, the tiny house cabins are new, quaint and comfortable. Steps away from Lake Beach.. Will definitely come back!!
This place was everything I was hoping and more. We stayed for 3 nights and I never wanted to leave!! Incredibly clean cabin with everything you need to feel at home. Private beach was delightful with lots of great places to eat close by. Im looking forward to going back in the future!! Best vacation Ive ever had and the sweet cabin was a huge part of what made it magical.
Deceitful advertising. Poor relationships with third party online booking sites. Impossible to reach someone from Long Cove on the phone. When you do finally reach someone they are rude, condescending, and unaccommodating. The opposite of customer service. Particularly employee Dan, who should not be employed in the hospitality service industry. Not to mention the $69 cleaning fee that comes up after you start the booking process only.Do not book here. Many other great options in the Rock Hill or Charlotte area a few minutes away.****UPDATE****Timothy, the operations manager has been so awesome. After hearing of my experience with Dan he has been super accommodating and tried to make things right. Unfortunately, we were not able to stay at Long Cove this trip but would love to give it a shot in the future. He acknowledged the break down in the system with Expedia’s listing and the unacceptable behavior of Dan. Some of our friends did stay this weekend and said it has been awesome. Thanks, Rebekah & Timothy for reaching out. Glad to know Long Cove does indeed care about customer relations after all.
The location of this place is secluded and quiet. We stayed in a tiny house which is absolutely beautiful. Its very clean and earth friendly. The service is outstanding. Very happy and excited to be around. Such a great place to stay.
Thank you Long Cove Resort for the wonderful weekend! Our group was quite impressed with the tiny house cabins and beautiful views. We rented two cabins for the weekend and loved having a grill right outside our cabin. We enjoyed several camp fires at night! It was a great time of togetherness and teamwork. The first of many visits to Long Cove!
Never have I ever had more of comfortable and at home experience. Staff is top notch and courteous. I wish I could live here. 5 stars
NYE weekend for a family of 5--2 room Cabin with Loft. We had a great time at Long Cove albeit sub freezing weather. The only reason I didnt post 5 stars is because I have really high expectations and there were little things like...mentioning it was our family and we had kids and we were there to celebrate NYE....it would have been cool to have more than 2 packets of hot cocoa and maybe throw in something special like microwave popcorn or sparklers...but thats just me. ALL that aside we had a 5-STAR time...we just provided the extras ourselves. We had a beachfront bonfire and staff helped gather extra chairs. The cabin was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the lake view was AMAZING!! We will surely be back--especially in the warmer months ahead so we can take advantage of kayak and boat rentals! Grocery store & restaurants are 10min away; Hiking and biking...5 minutes away (plenty of places for kids of all ages to run and play right on the property) They also offer great deals during the off season--Check them out. I would HIGHLY recommend Long Cove Cabins to family and friends.
Perfect stay!Clean, lake view, beach, fire places, grills. ..Had a great time!
The tiny house was nice and clean. The tv kept going out, it rained the day before we arrive and washed the beach out and turned all the water muddy brown so we did not get to experience the property.
It was a little slice of heaven tucked away from the busy!
Great tiny houses. It was an experience and I highly recommend Long Cove
The cabin was very cute. The shower pressure is really good. The water stays hot for a while. It is so nice and I cant wait to make the trip back out.
Had a great time! We stayed in #3 and it was perfect for two people. We would love to go back in the summer so we could enjoy the lake and pool.
We hosted our guests here for our wedding and this place is amazing! The cabins are beautiful and come equipped with everything you need. Rebekah is awesome! She went above and beyond, as far as taking a bunch of our kids on a train ride with the golf cart and made their experience exciting. There are plenty of things to do fpr families including the their own private beach area with a fire pit and water activities to rent. Everyone was amazed by this place and we would love to go back! Thank you for evrything Rebekah!
Where you wanna Be !!I got some of the best sleep in the world there!!
This place was great. Really fun place to hang out with your friends or just with your family. You can cant too and they have tiny homes you can stay in. Would suggest definitely.
