As a performer, i love this place. Its a beautiful stage with great seating arrangements. This place creates memories
Excellent venue!I visited here to see C.S. Lewis: The Great Divorce. Not only was the production very enjoyable to watch, but the venue itself is very nice!Theres plenty of seating options depending on the budget you have or view you desire. The venue was very clean, and very well kept. All the important things seemed up to date, and well looked after. The staff were very helpful, very professional, and very nice. Its something worth noting. The beverages were a bit on the expensive side, and Id like to see more wines offered, over beers. But thats just personal preference.Parking was nice as well, and not too complicated to find, if your semi-familiar with the Charlotte Uptown layout.
Great staff, clean, good acoustics and lighting. All seats have an excellent view of the stage. And verified $5 parking in the Bank of America building helps avoid the higher priced parking around town!
The performance was extraordinary. The venue cozy and welcoming. We will definitely return!
This is an intimate theater, not a bad seat in the house! Chairs were very comfortable, and the backs reclined a bit which was a pleasant surprise. I would have given a 5 star except for parking. There are at least 2 parting garages for the building and if you park in the wrong one like we did you will pay for it. A lot of $$$. Park in the right one and you can get a discounted parking pass from the theater.
Its a nice intimate theatre in the Bank of America center (Blumenthal theatre). Theres no bad seat in the house. It was smaller than I expected though.
Great place, little theatre! Worth being there, they served drinks. I saw no food. Great audience participation!
I loved this theater. The booth playhouse is small every seat has good views. The seats seem old fashioned at first sight. They are extremely comfortable with ample space between seats and rows. I was really pleased with the whole place. Would highly recommend it to anyone. Sometimes smaller is better.
The Booth Playhouse is difficult to find, but the size is great. Even the cheap seats have good views.
Nice venue...courteous staff...every seat is good.
Love the small quaint feel of the venue.Beware some seats on the lower back level have columns that obstruct your view.
What a nice place to come to for a show or dance performance. Just the right size and parking is convenient!
I always enjoy coming to see a show here
They do not provide parking for motorcycles. Had to walk several blocks. $34 for the ticket, $10 to pay for parking, an extra 20 minutes to find a motorcycle friendly lot. I cannot recommend playhouse because of this.
Not a bad seat in the place. Nice smaller venue for seeing a good show or play.
Very nice place, inside of a beautiful bldg called founders hall.
Great little theater. Not a bad seat in the house.
The theater had a great peaceful vibe. The chairs were comfortable. I sat on the left side center I had a great view of films being showed during the Sundance event this month.
The space for the Contra Tiempo was just right. The actors were are to interact with the audience in the space.
Small, quaint little place.
Excellent place to enjoy with the family and see one of the most greatest actor of my country
Great smaller venue! Not a bad seat in the house!
Great venue although entrance is hidden
Loved the Booth Playhouse! Not a bad seat in the house! Eat at Roosters downstairs before the show!
Very intimate not a bad seat
Lovely small theater, Intimate setting
Nice smaller venue - able to interact with performer
Great smaller venue, with unobstructed views and fantastic, comfortable seating. Bathrooms at the entrance. They validate your parking ticket.
The event (A Christmas Journey) was great but the door man was rude, asking me to turn my cell phone brightness up 4 times in a row loudly and embarrassingly so he could scan the ticket. BRIGHTER BRIGHTER BRIGHTER BRIGHTER. good grief..take a chill pill dude.
Great venue! Not a bad seat in the house!!
Nice place to see play
Small and quaint with a warm feeling
Great line up of shows always.
Tonight, the staff at the Booth Theater was so professional and helpful. They inforced a common sense decision not to serve anymore alcohol to patrons who were drunk and out of control. Kelly and the servers were tactful, but firm. Good work! The performance was extraordinary. Thank you.
Nice intimate venue.
The acoustics are great. It is an intimate setting. The 5th star is missing because of the spacing. It feels a little cramped.
Intimate venue where every seat is a good seat
Dixies Tupperware Party, was great!
What an amazing place and what a wonderful evening that I had. My nephew the Black Guy that tips did his podcast from this place tonight and it was absolutely perfect.
Great venue, great performance!
Nice place good sound! Parking is hard.
I love open theater
I love this theater! Its small with great sound and seat room. There are no bad seats in the Booth theater
Very nice smaller venue that the experience was more than expected
Nice small venue right in Founders Hall
If you havent seen Charlotte Sqwacks, go now. I havent seen my husband laugh so much in a long time.
Lovely small theater of Charlottes Blumenthal Center for the Performing Arts. Charlotte Squawks in its 14th year of parodying and satirizing local, state and national politics exceptionally good. Nicest ushers I have ever encountered in any theater anywhere in the US.
What an intimate theater this isI loved it.
Of all of the Blumenthal venues, I dont come to this one very often. Its a pretty nice little theater though. Its right next to Belk Theater so the parking passes work at Bank of America and 7th Street Station garages. This particular theater is very small, so there really arent any bad seats. We got tickets in the very back of the balcony and we were still very close. The orchestra is very small and the balcony only has a few rows.I did find the seats to be a little old and uncomfortable. Dont expect much leg room either, but its the same as other theaters in the area.Overall, I really like the intimacy of this theater and will definitely be back again next time a show is coming through that I want to see.
Lovely, intimate theater
Very intimate venue...perfect for Charlotte Squawks...which is what I saw there. Not a bad seat in the venue!
