My first visit was simply to cut and donate my hair. However, Kelly is incredible and also kind! I now go and get my hair cut with Kelly every time. It is the best deal for mens cuts in Charlotte!

Allison and Gina are amazing!! Finally having a departmentalized salon in Charleston is HUGE. Gina has done some of the most amazing color on my hair and is great about listening for exactly what you want. Allison’s cuts are fantastic and always fresh. Our whole family comes in for cuts from Allison. Cannot say enough good things about Salon Sage!

Kelly really knows how to style hair. She gave me the perfect cut for my face and did not hurry the drying. Since I have very thick hair, it takes a long time to dry, and Kelly made certain that it was totally dry before she finished.

I recently visited Sage Salon for the first time to have my hair colored. I wasnt sure exactly what color I would like, so Kelly helped me choose. She made some suggestions, which I liked, and the end results were amazing!! I absolutely loved the color of my hair. Went in gray and came out with this lovely, soft shade of red. This place is the best! Me and Mom came in. I was treating my mom with a surprise salon day.... The stylist was the most sweet, friendly, outgoing and amazing young lady! Most of all she gave my mom just what she wanted and need. My moms dye, cut and style was perfect!

My experience at Sage Salon & Studio was relaxing and enjoyable. I received exceptional service and was extremely happy with the outcome of my hair. Kelly Elliott is a very talented and amazing stylist. She was very friendly and clear about what she had in mind for my hair.The appearance of the salon itself was very clean and pristine with great natural lighting!! I enjoyed checking out the various pieces of art created by local artist set up around the salon as well.I will definitely suggest Sage Salon & Studio to friends and family, and will be scheduling another appointment for myself with Kelly soon!

Natalie did an amazing job on my hair today. She cut long layers and framed my face giving me a great look! I will definitely be a repeat customer going forward!Update: I visited the salon for a 2nd time and this time Natalie wasnt available so another stylist cut my hair and it was horrible.... my bangs were cut super short and it has taken months for it to grown back out. The lady cutting my hair was upset over an event that she had agreed to do with another local business who bailed at the last minute and she took her frustration out on my hair... also made for a very uncomfortable experience. If you go to the location ask for Natalie. Im leaving my rating because it is based on Natalies performance. But I will not be going back to this salon.

I put Sage Salon & Studio above all other salons for several reasons. I have never had a bad hair cut or color and in fact I swear they just keep getting better. I love that it is a full service salon that doesnt send you to a different person for color. Lastly the atmosphere, over the years Ive known Kelly weve developed a friendship, that goes beyond a client relationship. Ill never go anywhere else.

Nadine has been my stylist for several years. So happy she has a new home as cute as Sage Salon & Studio. This is a small, locally owned Aveda salon centrally located in Uptown. The atmosphere is very relaxing and I cant tell you how great it is having your hair done with NATURAL light. I know seems like a no brainer huh? Nadine gives great attention to detail and is an excellent colorist. Please go see her now!Tips:1. Parking can be an issue - when booking ask what is your best option as the parking garage thats most central is still under construction.2. Be prepared for fabulous hair!
