I have leveraged City Art Room for many services. I have attended 5 sip & paints after they conducted a team builder for my job (our company loved it). Additionally, they are my go to for custom art projects that I gift to family and friends throughout the year. Customer service is excellent and accommodating. Also, the artists are very talented - I can tell that they are passionate about what they do. I highly recommend their services to anyone on any day!

I had so much fun here with my girls! The artist Mila was the best. She 100% engaged with us and help us paint a masterpiece! This is a wonderful place for date night or girls night out. They have a good wine and paint selection. I will be back forsure!!!! Thanks to both Mila and the owner for making our girls night out a success!

I wish we had City Art Room in our city. We love visiting Charlotte a few times per year because of the unique experiences that can be had there. We will certainly be visiting City Art Room on our next visit - and bringing more people. In the meantime, I plan to purchase some of their beautiful art online!

This place was fine for what they provided. The biggest problem was that the information on the website about what they offered was highly exaggerated. I went there with my wife to do some pottery and when we got there, there was no potters wheel and when we asked about it, the lady said that it is air dry molding clay. So me and my wife had crayola modeling clay to do our pottery. I would give a higher review if the information was more accurate on the website. I would not have spent $50 on the experience we had.

UNSATISFIED! THE SOCIAL PASS is simply, you pay to come in and socialize and bring your own food n drinks. Why would I personally want to do that, at the Board walk? Be careful of this. My money went down the drain, after Groupon advertised for them, clearly a picture of someone painting and C.S. didnt offer any other deals for the misunderstanding & had the adasity to deny extending my offer as I enquired on the last day of validation of my Groupon. CHARLOTTE, we can do better than this! Im willing to support local businesses by private owners, but clearly dont take advantage of your consumers! Im shocked at Groupon and they will be notified.

Really nice date night option!

So we were half an hour late because we got an email saying to go to your 2828 address instead of your new one. Kim was so sweet and kind about it, and took us in right away and quickly got us set up and on our way to creating some art. She also took a picture of the email we received, and said she would contact whoever she needed to contact ASAP in order to let them know about the mix up. She didn’t rush us, and at the end even took a bunch of pictures of us in a group together with our paintings. Overall we had a great time, and Kim is a sweetheart and deserves all of the praise I’m the world. 10/10 would recommend this place to a friend.

We had my daughters bridal shower at the University location last week and it turned out to be an awesome place to have it! April was amazing and patient in helping us with our paintings. We were able to set up for food and drinks, choose our own playlist, and have a bit of time to open gifts and play a bridal shower game or two. It was great. The place was clean and comfortable and perfect!

Kim was AMAZING...I love my painting...she never got irritated at any question I asked...I wish she would have been my art teacher in school...Id probably be selling works of art by now...when I get home I will definitely go buy some paint and canvases...nothing but fun...had an AMAZING time...

Kim is ABSOLUTELY wonderful, and the establishment was cozy, with a karaoke machine... whew we had a GREAT time!!!

I came here with my mom for my 25th birthday and we really enjoyed ourselves. It was on a Sunday and we were the only people at the studio, which was fine by me. Ashley was very pleasant and attentive. The overall environment (company and music) was lovely. I will definitely return when Im in Charlotte again. Being here inspires me to begin painting!

We thought that we would give this place a try to celebrate our friends birthday but was highly disappointed. First of all there needs to be a phone number listed so that you can call the studio in the event that you need additional information such as how to find the place which we needed that information. My second issue is that I think that its ABSOLUTELY ridiculous that they only have one artist for the entire studio because when you take the Pro class, you have to wait for the artist to draw EVERYONES picture which is eating up your time. So when she has multiple people needing assistance it slows her down. I spent more time sitting and waiting than enjoying the experience. And my final issue is that its almost a 100 degrees outside we should not feel like were outside when we are supposed to be in an air conditioned room. It was EXTREMELY HOT. The artist thought that she had forgotten to turn on the air when in fact it was.

I visited this place for my birthday weekend which was 2/9/17. I purchased the tickets online but didnt get to print them out but no worries when I walked in Kim greeted everyone, I gave her my name and how many under my name and she had the proof right in her device so there was no hassle at all with purchasing online. She checked on everyone frequently which was in separate rooms but was still able to give that one on one attention. The total experience was awesome and the atmosphere was inviting. I will definitely visit again!!! Kim is very AWESOME at what she does and is so NICE!!!!

They have such great services ! The team is exceptional. We choose City Art Room for all of our custom art needs and for social painting activities with family.

It was a fun activity but I find it a bit overpriced.

My kids took me there tonight for my birthday (4/19). When we were told we would be painting independently, i.e. our own ideas and Kim would be there to help, I thought, Oh, this isnt going to end well ~sarcasm~. It was GREAT! The three of us came out of there with pictures we were all pleased with and Kim was available for any questions or advice we needed. Super experience!

Had a blast with family visiting from out of town. We bought our own wine and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves painting our portraits!

My husband brought me here for a Valentines day gift. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! He paid 70 dollars for something we could have done at home. I dont know if we came on the wrong day but we had hardly any guidance. Im 28 and this is my first time leaving a review. This is something Ive been wanting to do for awhile and youll ruined my experience.
