Beautifully remodeled a few years ago. The Charleston Orchestra is always wonderful. Their security is pathetic power tripping losers, is it necessary to dig through a ladies purse out to hear the Charleston Pops?

Took my mom to see Tony Bennett and we both had a good time. The seats where nice and the venue is beautiful but the big issue is it is not elderly or handicap friendly at all. A lot of stairs with no ramps and what few elevators they have are slow and filled with people that doesn’t need it. My 84 year old mother had to take the stairs to get down because we couldn’t get an elevator.

We had our wedding here on the 2nd of November. The whole experience during the day and the planning leading up to it was great. No better place to have a wedding or event in Charleston.

Overall a pretty nice venue or auditorium. The crowd can get pretty shady when someone like Steve Harvey or some off brand type or form of entertainment comes. But otherwise its good clean fun & beautiful.

This is such a beautiful place with tremendous acoustics. The renovations were long overdue but well worth the wait. We saw the Charleston Symphony here last Saturday put on a wonderful concert of Handel, Bach and Richter.This was the smallest group of artists we have ever seen but the beautiful sound they produced filled the hall. We had never heard the Richter Four Seasons Recomposed before but will remember with delight where we were the first time. Thank you to the Charleston Symphony for being a part of our lives for many years. And thank you to Charleston for having a hall worthy of a world class orchestra.

I went here for a meet and greet of Nicholas Sparks. The event took place in the ballroom. Very nice building for large crowds. The event was very organized for a large crowd of 1500 people. I didnt see the actual theater. But I loved what I saw

The Gaillard is a multi faceted facility allowing concerts, plays, exhibits, and meeting spaces. Great acoustics, comfortable seats, and good sightlines are available for visiting customers! Not only is it grand and attractive inside but also the outside offers architectural and horticultural beauty.

Beautiful venue, the ushers were all nice and professional and it was very cool inside on a very hot day outside. I came during The Spoleto Festival to see my first German Opera with English subtitles called Salome. I expected boredom but it was so entertaining and humorous at times, I would see it again. They could not pick a better venue. Go no matter what is playing there.

We went to see Dinosaurs Live! Not only was the event very inexpensive, but it was so awesome. I think that I probably loved it just as much as my little girl did. They put on a wonderful performance. And, the venue is absolutely stunning inside. It was our 1st visit here, well definitely be going back.

A beautiful auditorium and very elegant. Beautifully decorated and great sound. Little Big Town was awesome and I truly enjoyed the venue and the band!

We have events here every year. I am always impressed with how everything is set up and taken care of. I am not sure if the provided staff is from the event hosting or someone else but we have never had a bad experience.

Love going to see performances here. I sat in a private box and it was spectacular. Great service and wonderful performance. I saw Prokofiev. The atmosphere is professional and welcoming.

A gorgeous lil venue indeed. They may wanna consider more awaning outaide for the suddem Charleaton rains, but a clean new feeling theater overall

Very pretty site to catch a show! Great staff to work with when a hurricane hit and shows had to be rescheduled. We definitely look forward to seeing another show here again! Even their elevated balcony seating had great views, but we were lucky to get a seat only three rows from the stage for the same price. Check out this place to see your favorite comedians and more!

The Charleston Gaillard Center Is My Favorite Place To See A Concert Or A Show!! The Charleston Gaillard Center. “Just Go!!”

My family and I have been here numerous times to see the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, the Charleston Symphony Youth Orchestra, local performances, traveling ballets... we LOVE it! Pay attention to the tiny details in decorations that have South Carolina symbols proudly displayed. As your walking, look up and appreciate how beautiful the building is inside and out. Seating is comfortable, and unlike other halls, there is seating to the left, right, and a middle row with aisles in-between, so you arent having to walk over 30-40 people to get to your seats if you enter on the wrong side.There are bars available pre-show with prices comparable to what you would expect at any performance hall. Restrooms are large so I havent experienced a ridiculously long wait, and have also been pristine at every visit so far.There are no bad seats here... just bad audience members. Gallery seating is cheaper and you can see the entire stage, but had to deal with audience members whispering, dropping cell phones on the floor, and getting on their phones (guessing its because were so far from the stage). Never had that issue in other seating.

I get what they are doing, but drinking a beer from a sippy cup is just wrong. It came from a glass bottle, which is already recyclable. Great venue, courteous staff!

VERY nice remodeling job and SEWE marketplace was pretty good except they shouldve spread out the similar vendors instead of bunching all the knives together & all the clothing booths next to each other etc.

What a lovely venue! One would find it difficult to find a finer theater facility any where in the world. All aspects are world class, however the acoustics deserve special attention...near perfection!

Top of the great centers of the world, it is The New York Style Center transplanted, the best and highest class and culture center putting Charleston, SC on the map, all it needs is moving walkways from the parking garage to the center, plus one way glass around the A/V Tech. Station in seating.

Attended the Low Country Jazz Festival, Labor Day weekend 2019. Beautiful venue. One drawback, the sound quality for the opening artists was very poor.

Some drinks they sell without lids that you cannot bring into the performance. There are no evident signs and no verbal warnings about this. They sell them directly in front of the entrance but ushers will kick you out if you bring them in.Everything else was wonderful but this is just asinine.

Only three random beer selections. The seats were so small I had to put my arm around my wife the whole time so I wouldn’t be laying on the person beside me. I’m almost certain the A/C was not working, extremely hot! I could barely hear the person on stage. I arrived early and asked the “security” personnel for information and they were absolutely clueless about the place.

Really lovely place. Nicely decorated, clean facilities, lovely outside courtyard. Not a bad seat in the Performance Center.

Very nice facility. Built like a maze. Great hallways and staircases. Restrooms can use some work or redesigning. They have a locker room feel. The seats were nice and comfy and the air was set perfectly.

Fantastic events center with lots of space for hosting several events at once. The catering kitchen goes above and beyond to create a memorable experience. The center also hosts a miryad of quality shows all year long and the venue is beautiful.

Magnificent performance hall with incredible acoustics, home of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra. Multiple seating locations, ranging from floor, gallery, to the illustrious box seating. Very formal with courteous staff and ushers.

The Gaillard itself is beautiful, the exiting of the parking garage was awful. Everything automated, no where to scan your discount parking pass or your handicap placard. $10 spent on parking when it should have been free. Not at all happy.

We went to see the Jay Leno show. Jay was amazing really funny what we could hear of it. The sound system was lacking and a lot of words were missed. Such a great venue either needs a new sound man or a major adjustment to this system.

Its a huge building thats extremely fancy but the HVAC system struggles to keep up when theres a lot of people in the building.

Gorgeous venue! I went to a comedy show with music playing before and after the show. Sound system wasnt great but acoustics seemed good. Concession lines were ridiculously long. Bathrooms were nice but not easy to find.

The Acoustics in the Charleston Gaillard Center or amazing. The sax pack Peter White Richard Elliot and Keiko Matsui were at the top of their games last night and we all benefited :-). Richard Elliots rendition of Zapp and Rogers music turned up the whole concert.

Spectacular venue, super clean bathroom, tasteful decor, and very friendly staff.

Went for Rodrigo y Gabriella. The concession lines were long, but overall a great experience. Very nicely designed. Ushers were on top of it. A little fancier and dressier than I was expecting, but it was still very laid back. I’m looking forward to going again and trying seating from different angles.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and a great center to visit when in Charleston.

A beautiful building, great acoustics. Been to Beethoven to Lewis Black here, and love it. Purchase the white wine in a large sippy cup style, and you can bring it to your seat. Its about 1/2 bottle of wine.

Every time we come here, I take a few minutes to just look around at the beautiful architecture. Seeing the symphony perform here is always a treat.

The Gaillard Center is always a delight. The staff is friendly and helpful. The seats are comfortable for long sitting. The parking garage is a plus.

The seat are small. Wish it had more room. The place is beautiful inside and out. The staff is aweaome as well. Just wish the seating was better.

Had great seats, the facility was a really good size for the show and the Black Violin was magnificent.!!!! The energy in there was amazing...really good time.

Absolutely gorgeous! Love the cups for wine and beer, cute idea for cleanliness Im sure some of the snooty people visiting here will feel different but eh who cares.

Box Q is awesome and theres a bar right outside of it for box level people. They dont let any peasants in that bar. Its so choice, if you have the means, I highly recommend it.

Excellent venue for a business conference to a comedian and everything in between. Amusing atmosphere and delightful decor.

Very beautiful new venue for performances. Not sure that it was the best choice for a symphony performing St John Passion in German. Acoustics were overwhelmed by performance.
