Dope place when Covid wasnt around

Some friends and I were visiting all the way from the west coast and heard that Mynt is the place to be. Let me tell you it did not disappoint! Our bartender Aimi was probably the reason why! She was quick to give us recommendations and was happy to take care of anything that we needed. She’s so personable and her positive energy made it for a great night, really gave us that southern hospitality. Will definitely come back!

Mynt came highly recommended and it did not disappoint! We loved everything but your bartenders are really what stood out to us. Especially Aimi! We asked for several recommendations and she provided with a bunch of fun shots for us. She was so personable and energetic that it was impossible to not have a good time because of how much fun she seemed to be having herself. That kind of energy and service will definitely keep us coming back!

The environment and the vibe the bar/lounge creates is one of the best in downtown Charleston. The music, energy, and staff always creates a good time. For instance, Andrew provided me and my friends the perfect cocktails and experience throughout our night.

Had an absolutely lovely time, great food drinks and atmosphere! Aimi took great care of us, was very attentive to our needs but also gave us space. Made for a great evening! Would love to come back again!

Ive never written a review on Google before but figured I could say a few kind words as I was visiting from NYC and had an awesome experience! Aimi was one of the best bartenders that Ive seen. You could tell how aware she was of her surroundings, she was friendly, funny, energetic and always seems to be in a great mood! Most importantly, she can get you your drinks quickly!

Wednesday $5 any burger and fries and any pint draught $3. What a deal

Great spot to come into and be treated like a local, even if youre not! Andrew will pour you a drink and slap a delicious burger in front of you and youll be singing along to the live music or dj before you know it! Great way to spend any night in downtown Charleston!

Went here this weekend and had an amazing time with my girlfriend. There was a bartender named Andrew at the front bar that was really friendly and made us some great Christmasy shots and drinks. Definitely worth visiting for some great priced cocktails and friendly service!

My friends and I were visiting from out of town and were told we had to check out Mynt - Im so happy we did because we had a blast! Music was great. Im one to believe service contributes largely to experience. Aimi was our bartender and she was the BEST. She was so personable, fast, attentive, and even made recommendations for fun (yet delicious) drinks. Id highly recommend asking for Aimi when youre at Mynt!

Mynt is lit!!! We got a VIP table and bottle service here Saturday night and had a blast visiting from out of town. The music was great and there were hunnies everywhere. Our bottle girl Aimi was so FUN and HOT and kept the Tito’s going all night!!! If you come to Charleston you have to go to this place any night of the week.

Drew was a hell of a bartender. Great conversation really made me feel welcome.

Just walked by this place with my wife on the way back to our hotel after dinner. We werent even trying to go there and this guy hanging out with his buddies by the door started cat calling my wife and hasling me about the way I was dressed. Now I definitely wont waste my time. Not sure if they were employees or patrons, but you need to get a handle on people loitering outside harassing random people on the street. Definitely not good for business.

Friendly staff. Very strict on dress code but only on certain days. Bouncers are usually pretty rude but always a good DJ and good prices.

AMAZING! I came here on a Thursday night for a bachelorette party with 12 girls, we got a table with bottle service and it was one of the best nights we had while visiting Charleston. The servers were exceptional, two young girls who really took care of us and made it a special night for the bride! The music was great, we danced the whole night and the vibe was on point. The bouncers and security were very proactive in preventing any unwanted guys from trying to entering our table uninvited, which we appreciated. I would definitely recommend getting a table while here because the floor area can get very crowded when it’s a busy night and it was nice to have your own space. The bottles/table fee were also very fairly priced and we never felt like we had to wait to get served. One thing to be mindful of is that tip is already included in the bill at the end, anything you add on is additional which we didn’t realize. We thought there was a mistake in our bill once the final receipt came and brought it to the attention of their general manager Beau who could not have been more accommodating, genuine and professional! He took the time out to investigate the discrepancy and explain what happened (which was our error) and worked on getting it immediately corrected. He was extremely helpful, nice and truly just wanted to help. Beau even took the initiative the next day to follow up with me throughout the day to ensure I knew that everything was handled and taken care of. I can’t say enough good things about how his service topped off an already incredible night. Thank you to all the employees, bartenders, bouncers and managers at Mynt, you guys truly made it an unforgettable experience for us !!

I went to Mynt with friends to celebrate an achievement, and while dancing with friends on a raised section of dance floor I was informed that no men are allowed on that platform, so I and all of my friends moved off. When getting my next drink I asked if this were true, and I was told that its because sometimes guys are too aggressive up there. That would be totally reasonable, but aggressive men at a dance club arent aggressive only in one spot, and I was simply trying to have a good time with friends. The bartender told me that shes sure I wasnt doing anything wrong, its simply a rule that only women can be on the stage. To me this seems to be a ploy to only have women on the raised platform for sex appeal; something that my friends and I dont agree with. If you want to dance and have fun with all of your friends, I suggest you go elsewhere.

I was attempting to attend this social club and was denied access due to me having on a Nike. As I (who is African American) asked what was the difference between me and another guys shirt which was Oakley brand (who was Caucasian ), he said it was because it’s Nike athletic wear. If I’m not mistaken Oakley has athletic wear. Every time I try to come here I have been denied entry either it’s my pants, my shoes, now my shirt.
