Nice trails for hiking or biking. I parked at the elementary school and did about 6 miles of trekking. Not very well-marked at the beginning, but enjoyed it nonetheless

The most gorgeous trails I have ever run on. They’re incredibly well maintained and marked clearly. So happy I found this hidden gem in the middle of my town!

There are 3 entrances off Seawell School Rd. Park on the shoulder of the road. We took Entrance 3 near the school. Easy hike, main trails are gravel many loop trails not graveled. Good hike for dogs. The trails are not well marked and the map is not easy to follow. There is a stream and some bridges but mostly pine forest. There is also a foundation from an old mill.

Great for trail running. Lots of trails and well maintained. A good place to access Wormhole trail is across the street from Seawell school. There is a, not so obvious, opening in the trees on the railroad track side. Look at some of the running apps for circuits and distance. A good 4.5 miles under canopy without overlapping.

Great place for a walk, conveniently located in Chapel Hill. Great place to bring pets on short excursions. Difficulty: easy. Scenery: average (basically just a forest, so dont expect anything too awe-inspiring)

This little slice of perfection is a great place to run, bike, hike or just enjoy the outdoors. Some of the trails are challenging, but very runnable and bikeable. If youre training for a trail race, this is a decent place to get some rocks, roots, and hills without it being overly technical. No stream crossings, but you might see a flutist or other musician on the weekends, or possibly even spot a unicorn!

Great trails for walking, running or mountain biking. Single track trails can be technical with roots, rocks and very narrow trails between trees that can knock you off your bike if you arent careful. Some steep uphill sections may require Hike-a-Bike. Traffic on the trails goes both clockwise and counter clockwise so you must be alert at all times. The Pumpkin Loop is gravel and intersects with a paved section of Greenway. Pumpkin Vine connects the Loop to Sewell School Road.

This is a very nice place to talk a walk in the trees. The trails are well marked, even the single tracks. There is large enough to appear like you are alone even when many people are around. Dogs are ok, leashed. The area is clean and well maintained. Trail maps are available on all trails. There are several posted at the corners of the area. The trails continue across the road, and the railroad tracks. That area seems to be less used.My only issue is the use of the word forest. It is not that, at all. It is a shadow of that and I feel that that should be said.I enjoyed the time there, as did my doggos. We have made several trips there now and each was unique and relaxing.
