Really nice kids play ground. With decent amenities like a sand volleyball court, phonic restrooms and large grass areas for sports. Only disappointment is that most of the park lights are off by 10pm and they bathrooms get locked very early as well. Also some nice pokemon go gyms and poke stops!

Great park with lots of space. Hosts soccer leagues and has public restrooms (under normal non-pandemic situations).For Pokémon GO players, the park is also gone to two gyms, a pokestop, and a nest that rotates every two weeks.

Very big park, clean and multiple playgrounds for the kids, multiple grass lawns for the dogs to run around and play and a clean mens/womens restrooms

I appreciate that there are a number of places we can sit down, in grass, under the shade of a tree.

A highly recommended park that was the highlight of our granddaughters day in the Gilbert/Chandler area. The variety of apparition was unique and refreshing. I would recommend this park for fun@

This is a great park with lots of green space, basketball, volleyball, restrooms, playgrounds, picnic tables, and a sand box. My only complaint is that the city hasnt done a good job treating for weeds recently.

Not a bad neighborhood

Volleyball court needs nets, not added. Sand is soft. Pipe for washing feet was taken out. Childrens playground is good.

One of our favorite parks in the area. My 5 year old loves it. Lots of activities for all kid age groups. Well maintained as well.

Clean and very big but I have noticed at night lots of cockroaches come out, wish they would change this.

Just a quick stop for an impromptu picnic with my family, but it was peaceful, clean and had enough amenities to have me make another trip!

Go here a TON with the dogs they live it and its close by and most people Ive met are super friendly.

BE WARNED. This park has little snakes eating the crickets and seemed to be aggressive. Observed 3 with in 15ft of each other in the evening. Not ideal for small children even though the snakes are non venomous and appear to be a garden snake variety .

Its very safe and the person its named after is a very civic minded man who sacrificed slot to serve his community and to frequent this park in his name is in a way recognition of him, and also the shrub greenery surrounding the park is well balanced the grass kept meticulously proper and bike paths, as well numerous room for different sport oppurtune.

Very clean gorgeous park. Green grass all year round. The jungle gyms are very well maintained and kept clean also. They have two full size basket ball courts. A soccer field that substitutes for preeteen football practice and chearleadeading practice. It also has two very well kept volley ball courts that see a lot of use. There is also a trail that is lighted at night that follows the canal from Chandler Blvd to Ray road. A lot families and young couples use them for either walking or jogging at night. The park itself stays very well light until 10:00 pm when it closes.It has a parking in the south entrance as well as handicap parking. At the entrance There is also a very clean and well maintained restroom area equipped with stalls and a sink. The mens has a urinal. a stall and sink. It is well light all night.Overall the park is very safe and is in a nice neighborhood. Famikies with children. Young couples and even singles will love this park. Its got a lot to do and there is always an activity going on.I will post pictures tomorrow morning. It was a bit too dark to get any good photos.
