Overman park is great for many things including events and family gatherings bit what separates it is its the heart of cedar falls. Sturgis falls was named after the Sturgis family who helped introduce and grow our city

Just a beautiful park & great place where they have so many free live events the summer & Fall months are so neat - just a great place to enjoy! The location is SO PERFECT too!I did NOT grow up here in this area - ONE of the NEAT parts that BOTH communities have is a BAND SHELTER (they are so neat too), so NOW as CF has too - its a great connection! GREAT MEMORIES from my childhood then & still get to enjoy a little part of that here in CF too!

What a beautiful park! There are benches so you can sit and soak up nature. The mature trees provide a nice canopy and also enhance the breezes blowing through. A great area just to sit and relax.

Overman is a beautiful park with many live community events.

Great place!! Sturgis Falls has the handicap parking right there. Great sidewalks and benches. Food stands are exceptional! The choices...Oooh...it was hard to decide! No bugs...used ecologically friendly sprays. The Marine Band...how could anyone miss it. Brings us all together again. And thats what I think of Overman Park!

It sucks after sundown unless you enjoy being accosted by juvenile delinquents.

Such a beautiful park right next to Downton cedar falls. They have musical recitals, play outdoor movies and have farmer markets from time to time.

My favorite park in Cedar Falls. The band shelter is just iconic to me.

Farmers Market. Last day for 2018. We had a great time. Friendly people--customers, local growers and vendors. There was still lots of selections, to bad its the last day. Bought lots of pumpkins, big to small, gourds and squash to decorate the deck, looks nice. Frkm late spring, summer into fall theres a great variety of garden produce, herbs, plants, flowers and organically grown produce. Lots and lots of baked goodies, crafts, wooden cutting boards etc., jewelry, honey, jams, specialty meats (buffalo, farm raised chix, eggs, pork, etc), lots more. Havent bought anything there we didnt like.
