Color Country Art Supply is my favorite place to shop for all my art needs. Nick Froyd the owner is so helpful to me because he has knowledge of certain products that make my paintings way easier.I do lots of fluid painting or flow art and Nick has been super at helping me with products that are more professional instead of more craft art. I’ve had lots of questions about art in general that have been answered.There’s are lots of art supplies to choose from like inks, drawing pads, pouring mediums, gloss varnishes to seal coat your art, professional canvases and beginner canvases, paint thinners, oil and acrylics, pens, easels, craft paints, palette knives, art brushes, palettes, stencils, art boards, and much more!Right next to Nick’s place is a art and photography framing shop that can also print on metal and acrylic.Nick even teaches classes too.Rather you are a beginner artist or a professional Color Country Art Supply has it all for you. Nick can always order it for you too!

The expertise to suggest alternatives was appreciated.Pillar of the local art community. includes a gallery and frame shop.Instead of being disappointed they dont have your favorite brand in stock, call ahead! With a weeks notice, you can take advantage of their friendly customer service and wholesalers discount to get what you need.accessibility:The sign for the store is tiny and illegible so i had a hard time finding the place. The ramp to the door was a little steep but the door was easy to open and my wheelchair fit through the aisles easily. Prices were fair--blick is only 10% cheaper--but were printed in tiny font on stickers that were not always next to the item or easy to find. Visually impaired and blind customers should abandon any designs of finding items on their own (or even differentiating the framing vs art supply section! no tactile floor guidelines! oddly placed walls! A cane might not prevent you from crashes, i can see fine and i almost rolled right into someones masterpiece placed 5 feet directly in front of the door!) and instead immediately accept assistance. The first thing everyone hears walking in the door is a friendly offer of help, and they mean it!

The store owner has helped me on multiple occasions to pick out or order a perfect gift for those with an artistic side.Their prices are fair, customer service is fantastic, and if you literally dont have a clue what you are looking for they can work with that ;)Related: art framer was a pleasure to work with. Nick is a very knowledgable and experienced artist. He helped me find the perfect watercolor brush I needed. He also custom ordered a sketch pad that I couldnt get anywhere in town. The store has great prices and a great environment. If youre an artist in Cedar City, there is no reason to shop anywhere else.
