My sister & I were en route to Lake Chabot and stumbled across this hidden gem while driving through the community. We will definitely be returning.

I used to come here back in high school when it was just peace & quiet. Nowadays it’s too rowdy with too much going on all the time.

Nice little park with tennis courts, baseball, and plenty of trees to sit under. Fairly well maintained bathroom with public access during the day.

Castro Valley Veterans Memorial... worth the trip just to see these highly polished granite memorials dedicated to each branch of the military service. Engraved in stone with color in the emblems that is beautiful and again worthwhile to see and a great honor to all those who served our nation.

This is a great park to take kids of many ages from babies to teen. This park is very clean and it has a lot to offer.

Great park has a basketball but hoops are taken off due to covid-19. Also has a decent baseball field and water park for kids.

Its pretty . Went to see my gf, ended up being a break up,but thats.not the parks doing. Sitting here now, and pretty is how Id describe this park. And her.Be Good or Be Good at IT .... AND FELLAS, IF Y got a Lady, stand tall, and know your ok without her better with her.

Really nice park four different places, has even a fenced-in part for toddlers, with a little water spray area, only thing is bathrooms are kind of far.

Scenic park in the middle of town; Great place for a walk, BBQ or even Recreation. It has a Basketball Court, Tennis Court, Baseball Field, and two parking lots.

Really nice little Park. Our church has a yearly event there sermon, BBQ party and birthday party for our minister.Clean and lots of room around picnicking areas. The BBQs are always clean and respected.Sometimes we take a walk there at night because the deer come down out of the Hills into the park

Good place to bring the kids to play

Four different playgrounds not including the water park. If you have a little one this is the place to bring them. They will be entertained for hours.

Very fun place to take my little girl. She loves playing on the swings and they are pretty safe.

WOW! This park is clean and in a very beautiful location! Definitely a family welcoming venue! My niece, had her daughters first birthday party there on a Sunday afternoon in September! It was simply the best place to have her Powerpuff 1st Birthday Party! Did I mention that it was free (first come first served type of arrangement)! The Parks playground was a place for little ones could just be kids! I recommend that if you ever want to have a family outing, party, barbecue, or whatever, etc. You have to head to Castro Valley Community Park! Get there early to secure a convenient and clean spot!️️️

A fun little park to take my little one where he can run off some energy. Water area runs in the summer. Multiple playgrounds for different ages. Could use an update to some parts though.

Lots of play spaces for little ones to play and other recreational areas for sports. Some of the swings for handicapable were out of order but otherwise really well kept.

This is by far one of the greatest parks for the whole family. The play structures are up-to-date the Landscaping is well cap and theres either a small water park for summer fun. Although its a big Park I think its the perfect park for a smaller dog, but please dont forget your bag to pick up your dogs waste.

The splash pad is always fun on the warm summer days. There is a great playground with sand underneath it. Baseball complex and tennis courts too. Lots of fun for the whole family.

Great park for kids of all ages. The play structures range in age access from toddler to bigger kid to full out preteen sized kids. The location has basketball courts, baseball field, and even a community center. Multiple picnic areas and tables for rent. My family hosted my sons first birthday here and a five table picnic area and the cost was $100 for the entire day.They also have a water park section.

This park offers a splash pad for kids which is really fun, and also has swing and slides. It gets really busy though and parking lot is always full in weekend afternoon so park off the street is available. There seems to be always birthday or other parties going on in the weekend.

Generally a low key neighborhood park. There are various play structures for kids, a gated toddler area with sand and a water attraction for the hotter months. Weekends can be a bit busy due to birthday BBQs. The on site staff is really friendly who do a wonderful job keeping the grounds clean.

Family oriented community park

Its ok park thats busy but good for kids. Gets crowded so you feel on top of people. Warning signs that the water fountains can contain feces from other kids so dont drink or gargle water!

Neighborhood park, picnic areas, shaded, swing sets, play area for kids, caged play area for toddlers, walking trails. Seasonal water spray kids area. Only drawback is limited parking and bathrooms when it gets crowded.

What I really enjoy about this park is that its a very good sized park that is subdivided into 3 other little sections for the appropriate ages. I also like that this park isnt too overwhelmingly large and although it is a good size park you still have a good 360 view of where the children are. Its too cold right now but there is a little splash park for the kids that is amazing in the hotter days especially in the summer. Ive gone to several birthday parties here and I always enjoy myself. Theres a baseball field and community center adjacent to the park itself.

Beautiful setting, nice amenities from picnic area to swings and slides to basketball courts. Also home of the military memorial honoring those who served in all branches from C V. Its quite moving

As a kid I used to come here and play at the park. As a grown up I have a new found respect for the community center. Watching as my buddies kids have fun on the same jungle gym that we used to play on.

Overall a great park. They have 3 stages of jungly gyms(babys,toddlers,big kids) to play on. They have a small water play area for hot days and a bbq pit area. Also for sports they have tennis and basketball courts and a baseball field big enough for a soccer game. I love taking my kid here.

I love this little park. My daughter and I played tennis. Then I relaxed in the sun.

Different sections to the park allow for different ages/play types to play safely. There is a gated area for smaller children, which is where my toddler spent the most time. The park has water pads, which look incredibly fun as he gets older.

A fun place for kids, been going there for years. Equipment is great and something for every age.Just 4 stars because public bathrooms are a short walk away but kind of a hassle with kids and theyre gross and there isnt a changing table.Otherwise I love it

We go here quite a bit! My 2 and a 1/2 year old has been going here since he was pretty much born and he loves it! We also celebrated his 1 year birthday party there (about 40 people) and everyone had a great time! With 3 different playgrounds, and the water that comes on during the hot days, there is something for every kid to do that they will like. We will definitely be going there for a long time to come!

Fun water park for little ones. Sits with 4 play area options. Water portion sits in bigger kid area including slides, swings, low height zip lines and climbing units. Behind this area is 2 parks for smaller kids - 1 for toddlers and the 2nd for 3-5 year olds. Last area is in the very back with climbing unit and plenty of sand to play in. Would recommend for 4 and up. Water park is an open area with benches on one side. Includes oversized balls to climb on, water cannons and fountains. Was turned off on 6/23/19. Signs stated repairs were required on the kid friendly matting for the floor. Since today was in the 80s and nothing posted online for closure, there was a lot of unhappy families today. Felt bad for the 3 birthday parties with no water play. We come regularly during the summer and this is the 4th generation to enjoy this park.

Its a nice park for the kids. The restrooms are next to the baseball court, which is a little hassle if you have younger kids and youre there with more than one of them. Otherwise good!

Such a fun show! The staff and volunteers were all so friendly. The actors were professional level with credentials from numerous famous productions. The seats were comfortable, too.

Limited parking but a great place for a kids party. The best places should be reserved. Additional parking can be found by the community center. Splash pad is large and always a hit for kids.
