They do not have haunted houses this year but they do have haunted farm with haunted tractor ride, haunted corn maze(trail of lost souls) and both are good given all covid limitations. (Of course they still have regular attractions like pumpkins, hayrides, corn maze etc.)They have taken good precautionary measures but only 3 out of 10 visitors were wearing masks while I was there. Full marks to the management but not to all the visitors. Also recommend their Homemade hot spiced cider for just $2
We went to multiple tree lots this until we ended our day at Phillips. I have to say that this year I was was quite shocked with the lack of inventory and the huge price increase over last year, but to my pleasant surprise, Phillips had the cream of the crop for MUCH cheaper than anywhere else! We were looking for larger trees and they had many and they were gorgeous. Thanks Phillips for never disappointing! I’m in Holly Springs, so I didn’t want to venture so far, but I will save the time and make a b-line for you next time! Best quality!!
I think Phillips Farms is great for kids, there are many activities, and can keep you entertained for a good amount of hours. The attractions are good for teens and adults too, its a great family place. My only problem was the haunted maze, first of all its only about 5 minutes if you walk at normal speed. Also it felt like the people were trying to chase and scare me to move on. Me and my friend wanted to walk through at our on pace. There was a guy chasing us, which did scare me but then he said in a normal frustrated voice, move on. The actors could clearly be better at their job. However the rest of the haunted attractions are great like the haunted hayride, clown house, etc.
We had a wonderful time at family fun day on Halloween and we enjoyed the contactless trick or treat event. Covid precautions were being taken. There was so much to do and plenty of photo ops. The kids had a blast. They have a great corn maze and hay ride. Plenty of parking. Fun for all ages.
We go to Phillips farm almost every year for their fall fun and we are never disappointed. We werent sure what to expect with covid mandates in place but there was still plenty for the kids to do, staff were friendly and mostly on their game with sanitizing. Despite a few families not wearing masks it was a great day of fun. We all needed it!
Great selection of trees and a really nice Christmas area with snacks and Peak City Coffee. The Halloween section is always great fun with a haunted corn maze and playground area. Also strawberries in the spring/summer.
This is not a place for adults to go alone. This is first and foremost a childrens playground. Lots of activities for the kids and for adults to do with the kids. The corn maze is quick and easy and takes about 20 minutes to go through. It is not a corn maze anyone could get lost in. There are numerous activities. Masks are not required and more people than not were not observing social distancing or wearing masks. There are a few places to buy snacks like kettle corn, snow cone, ice cream, cotton candy, pretzels. There are several porta potties. Bond Brothers sold beer. It is a great place to bring kids to let them run around with numerous activities.
If I had kids, this would be the perfect place for a pumpkin patch. I wish we had gone at least one to two weeks earlier to get a pumpkin on the vine. The hayride was interesting to find out more about the farm. The food trucks are also a great thing.
They have the best strawberries during the summer, they’re very sweet! The pumpkin patch was fun. Some of the employees are very nice but at the pumpkin patch, 2 employees were having a conflict and arguing in front of my son and I. They acted as if we weren’t there. The teens here act like typical teens who dislike their job. They don’t smile or greet you. Kind of ruins the experience!
We attempted the Haunted Corn Maze this evening. My husband and my 8 year old son did great. I however had a full on fetal position panic attack on the ground of the maze. A very sweet lady ghoul came and helped me and walked us out. Thank you so much for being so kind. We will definitely return, but Ill sit the scary stuff, out.
Good place to spend around 2-3 hours, especially for kids. $12.50 is entry including 4 things (2 rides included) . Good games were arranged to keep the kids busy .. i would say good for kids between 5-10 yrs...my kids are 6 and 10 yrs and both enjoyed. Pumpkins were little costlier. I got a medium size pumpkin for$8... but I think that was worth if you include the fun part of it... closer to 55, so easily accessible. Parking available. Please pack your bag with drinking water... they had soap and water arrangement for washing hands and also enough hand sanitizer... overall nice arrangement. Restrooms might be some challenge but for 2 hrs of plan, it should be manageable.
I should have read the reviews before going this year. No enforcement of masks, not many sanitizing stations and social distancing was not realistic. What killed me was how many people (including staff) werent wearing masks. Groups of non-maskers standing in entrances and exit spots, just very frustrating. We got there right when it opened and it wasnt that bad, but as more people came in it got worse. We usually love this spot every year but this was a year we should have skipped.
It was SOOOO much for for our 3-year-old! We LOVED it! They had so many creative options for kids. Games, activities, rides... Such a cool place!
Corn maze was fun and I liked that bond brothers was there (we went on a Saturday). Otherwise not much to do for adults (young adults, parents,etc.). Also, multiple employees not wearing masks correctly and about 1/3 to 1/2 of families were not wearing masks. The maze was hard to social distance in with the exit also being the entrance. I might go back to the market area soon but will not be going back to the rest of the farm (where a ticket is required) during the pandemic. Also, even if you buy a ticket online you still have to wait in line at the ticket booth. That was not clear on the website- I paid a convenience fee thinking I wouldn’t have to wait in line (to limit potential exposure) only to get there and have to wait in line with people around us not wearing masks.
Crowded as normal on Saturdays and most people attending are wearing masks and following social distancing guidelines. Fun for families. Had Bond Brothers here for adults that need to quench their thirsts. Other concession vendors offer varied items that you think you may need like a slice of pie.
Great time for the family. Only thing the adults pay 12 dollars to walk around and watch their kids play. Any other adults attraction you pay separately guess they got to make money some how
My family and I had a blast! Staff was friendly and helpful. All attractions were well kept and my family will be back next year!
Im not impressed. While there are numerous things to do, there are few that you do not have to pay for. For example, theres a corn maze, a wagon ride (which you see nothing but corn on), slides, funny bicycles, corn hole, a mud kitchen, a bouncy platform (like a bouncy house but not inclosed), and some various other activies. To feed the animals you pay 25 cents for about a handful of feed, you per pound for any pumpkins you pick, you pay to sling shot or launch any pumkins. So basically you pay $30/kid over 2 (Im including the $15/adult because I dont go down the slide or play in the mud) and youve paid for a big playground. It is a day pass on Sunday but due to covid its only per session on sat. So thats $15/kid for 4 hrs of play and thats IF you can wrangle your kids up and get there when the door opens. You will need to walk everywhere (obviously, since its a farm), so bring your strollers for young ones or be prepared to carry. Overall, most of the activists can be done by the kids without parent involvement, which is nice. Overall, Id say its overpriced for what you get, but its all just opinion. There are others around where you get more bang for your buck.
Yikes! We went to pick pumpkins and were disappointed. First off cash only inside INCLUDES the pumpkins Most places give you a pumpkin with your ticket but not here. 10+ dollars per person for admission for basically a small playground (slide, bouncy floor area and some sand toys) and a little goat section that is fenced off. Also for people with young kids they wont allow adults anywhere (bouncy floor or slide) so your toddler will be flying solo. All there was for us to do was the slide and my almost 2 year old was too scared to go down by himself. The pumpkin patch was a total joke more then half the pumpkins were rotten. Do not waste your money plenty of nice pumpkin patches around.
We brought 7 kids ranging in age from 16 mos to 19 and THEY ALL HAD A BLAST! There is so much to do here!! Duck racing, cow train, goats, hamster wheel race, tricycle races, hayride, pumpkin catapulting!!! And a crazy fun corn maze!! I highly recommend Phillips Farm for hours of COVID safe, Uber fun!
Such a beautiful farm. Friendly staff. Very organized. Must see for yourself. Support you local farmers please. Not many left.
Best fall experience weve had. It has something for ALL ages. If you leave here and dont have fun, its your fault. We will be coming back for years to come
Great outdoor family fun. Lots of activities for kids. Impressed by their measures with covid.
Lots of trees, staff very helpful, got our tree there last year...
Great place! The pumpkin section was amazing and the corn maze and other activities was very nice.
I went here for the corn maze and there was so much things to do and the price was just right. Got to the farm at 4p and they closed at 6p. There were so much activities I didnt get to finish
Great enviro, will visit with the kids next time, I think theyll enjoy this place.
We went today to their fun park, everybody was extremely rude from the very beginning, the kids wanted to slide one last time at the end when the session was over and they kicked us out, eventually said better make it quick, extremely rude and unpleasant experience!!! we have been to other farms and the people there care about the kids and about their customers..
I want to say I respect this location and what they have built. I think it is family fun, festive, and a good time but during this pandemic I think there are some very very concerning things happening.1. Multiple unmasked kids together with little ways to sanitize. Multiple adults just roaming without a mask and little care for anyone else.2. No line structures or flow of person through activities like pre picked pumpkins.3. Not following regulation for state mandated rule to only fulfill 30% capacity. In fact two employees told me tickets were sold out for all the activities (hay ride & corn maze) and were beyond capacity for the whole space.4. They are cash only. So hundreds of people were exchanging cash when the rest of wake county is literally trying to avoid the exchange of germs.5. Their website and tickets gave no info as to what they were for. The whole place is no admission unless you get the ticket which I guess gets you on the hay ride and in the corn maze. Everything else cost cash when you get there.6. There was no regulation of adults taking alcohol into the other side of the park. There are signs but essentially this whole business is not enforcing anything.7. Employees at concession stands where instructing guest to go to the ticket booth to get change because they didnt have any. They could have easily sent an employee to bring change but instead they sent every person in line away.8. I do not appreciate who ever manages their social media. I pointed some of these issues out online and they proceeded to passively aggressively like my concerns but say nothing. After I proceeded to point out that I am a member of this community that is concerned they unliked my post. It was neither professional nor admirable. The rest of Wake County businesses are respecting and upholding their establishments to the standard that has been set. I find it to be very concerning for the health of this community and just generally for the respect of other hard working businesses going above and beyond. Event planners, nurses, wait staffs, owners, cooks, custodians, and more are working really hard in this community. I will not return here under any circumstances. My response to you’re follow up:I see you only skimmed on the non important issues. If you are okay with every customer going to get ones because your employees don’t want to, that’s your choice. I think you have an opportunity to improve your guest relations and the overall structure of your event. If you don’t want to acknowledge that you are over capacity that is also your choice. Under the circumstances of this year I still feel the structure, safety, and cleanliness during Covid is being overlooked. Family fun should be a second priority right now..I included 2 pictures one of the NC State laws right now and 2 of what information your website provided when you click on tickets to show there is very little information.
My kids had a blast here when we went last summer. There is tons of stuff to do. You could easily make an afternoon out of it, or just go for an hour or two. The parking can get pretty insane. There are games, berry picking, hay rides, corn maze, snow cones, various local farmer vendors (diary, meat, etc) depending on when you go.My wife and I are big on our kids understanding where food comes from, and to that end this place is excellent.
Great place. Enjoyed our visit
They have very efficient drive thru system in place for buying strawberries. They offered to place them right in my vehicle to lessen contact. I know they offer for you to pay over the phone if you want no contact at all during these crazy times. The berries are delicious! This picture is only about half of what they originally gave me, the basket was FULL at first!
Good scares and thrills!!! Great actors who really enjoyed scaring others
TONS to do for the entire family! We did the corn maze, the hayride, all of the games, the bounce houses, petting zoo, and a few of their more unique offerings such as the pumpkin launch. My only feedback is that I wish the pumpkin patch was bigger and the selection of pumpkins was bigger and the petting zoo was larger. We went the 2nd weekend in October so I dont think we were too late into the season. The petting zoo had some chickens and about 5 goats. Still, all of the extra entertainment and games more than made up for it. We will definitely be back next year! Its a new family tradition:^)
OMG IM GOING TODAY IM SO EXCITED
Wonderful family run farm! We’ve been enjoying their strawberries for several weeks now. Very thankful that they have a safe option to support a local farm during these times.
I recently moved to the area and tried a few different strawberry farms in the area this spring...this one is my fav!! Strawberries are extremely sweet and juicy. Probably the best strawberries I’ve had!
Great place me and the wife work as the Hunted actors
Beautiful place.absolutely loved the sunflower field.worth every penny.
Great place for family fun with little ones!
We had fun with the 20 month old
We had fun. A lot of activities. We was there 4 hours and child didnt wanna go home)
Such a fun and amazing place for kids!
Fun but so many people.
The best pumpkin patch I have ever been. Price is cheap and so much to play. The parking is so easy too. I would definitely recommend to everyone.
Went there on school field trip and had a blast! Very beautiful!
Great place for kids to hang out
Visiting Phillips Farm at least twice a year is a tradition for us, as its a super fun, family-friendly place to go during the Fall for corn maze and Fall festival-type fun and activities or during the Spring to pick strawberries. Affordable and fun for the entire family!
Delicious strawberries! Fast, outstanding customer service! Highly recommend this beautiful farm.
They still have a lot of strawberries and they are huge. Nice family farm with reasonable prices and very sweet berries. They have some entertainments for kids and picnic tables to have snacks for all family.
Love their Halloween treats....
Kid and family friendly. We had a lot of fun today.
We had a blast...plenty to do
Very nice farm to the entire family
What kind of farm doesn’t allow dogs on leash?! What a joke!
Phillips farm is a great local spot for families! ( Kids at heart too ) They have plenty of activities for the price of admission for the Corn Maze.
This place is awesome! Lots of fun activities for kids..only downside no bathrooms, however they do have portal potties and they are clean! The other, no food on site .looks like they have an ice cream stand but it was closed when we went.
Fun place to being the kids right when they open up before Halloween. My nearly 4 year old loved it. Cute place really; nothing magical but also a great mellow place my son loved.
We have gone every year for the past 4 years and its always great. Theyve added a few new things this year and it seemed busier than usual for as late in the season as we went. Lots of stuff for kids probably through ages 7-8 but probably phases out after that
I did the haunted stuff and I was so sCared
We really enjoy their activities, and they added even more this year. Its a great family adventure for some fall weekend with tons of things to do outside, yummy kettle corn and food truck food, and a corn maze thats not at all scary thats perfect to take the little ones through. We will continue this tradition for many years to come. We love the corn pit, the milking cows game, the giant spider web to climb on, the pumpkin cannons, the hay ride, the cow train ride... there is SO much to do, and our girls love it.
This is a fun place for your kids. Lots of kid friendly activities like bounce house and farm animals. Make sure to schedule at least 3 hours to enjoy it fully.
We went to the farm for their Haunted House and it was just the right amount of horror. It was so much fun. Thanks Philips Farm!!
The Haunted Farm was amazing. Well worth the money. I was surprised at the number of high school students. We were completely out of place. There is a dropoff for parents to let off their kids. The only suggestion I would have would be for there to be security. With that number of people, it seems like a good idea.
The sun flowers werent in perfect condition but for $5 it isnt bad. None of the staff were wearing masks even when interacting with customers.
Amazing activities for the fall season, a good place in the town that gives kids a chance to experience farm living.
It is a fun time.. Especially during the Fall..
We love Phillips Farms! With the exception of a few activities (the pumpkin slingshot, and corn/pumpkin gun) you pay one admission for lots of family fun activities including a corn maze, wagon ride, and a cow train. Our kids had hours of fun, and didnt want to leave. We look forward to coming every year.
Came here with some friends and we had a lot of fun! We walked through the corn maze, went on a wagon ride, and played some of the games at the family park. Just so you know, it was 5 of us and we are all in our 20s. This is a fun place for people of all ages. Im sure at some point we will be back.
My friends and I visited Phillips farm during their Halloween event. It was super fun, though the lines were long. Come early so you have time to try everything. The haunted houses, hayride and haunted corn maze were really popular among teens and families. I would say it’s pretty scary, with loud noises and flashing lights (and evil clowns) so I maybe wouldn’t recommend it for young kids. After trying all the activities, I think the hayride is the best/spookiest.
Great Halloween attraction in the RTP! Safe and fun environment to enjoy the 4 haunted farm attractions at a modest $20 per person admission with Free parking. We will return next year!
Great times are had here! Family friendly. Fun activities. Feed the goats!
It was like a farm fall theme park! As an adult, I had so much fun. I can only imagine how much of a blast a kiddo would have!
The event gets better every year. I like the food offerings. They should get more food trucks
Daughters love it. Every year we visit. One of best in entire triangle area
Great family experience...fun was had by all! Soo much to do for kids of all ages. Price of admission covers almost all activites, food & pumpkins are extra. This farm has become a favorite family tradition for the last 5 years!
Beautiful tree, Heath was a huge help. Delivered and set up for us. Thank you!!
My wife and I went to Phillips Farms to get our Christmas tree. We had an amazing time walking around and choosing our tree. The area was well lit and the trees looked amazing and healthy. It was hard to choose but we got a 5/6 foot tree. The young man who helped us prep the tree and tie the tree to the car was very helpful and a great person to talk to. He made the experience of choosing a tree magical. I forgot his name, but he’s the young man who watched Elf the Musical. We will be back next year!
Ton of fun activities for kids and adults. You can spend hrs here. We went there in the morning and stepped out for lunch and came back and spent the afternoon too.
Had a great time! Lots of fun for the kids and staff was very kind and interactive! Will be back for sure!
Awesome and fun!
Great place.
Great place to take the family and enjoy the outdoors. If you are so inclined you can even have a beer.
My family enjoyed the activities at the farm. The are was clean and spacious.
Nice park but people/visitors need to listen to employees instructions!
Strawberries are delicious. I liked the play area for kids and the tractor ride was fun.
Kids love it here, one of the only farms left in the area.
Good place to spend Saturday or Sunday, especially with kids. Cow train is awesome.
Such a great local farm near town. Seasonal picking a different times of year to include strawberries and pumpkins. The fall festival in s great for the kiddos. we go every year.
