This was one of the best places I ever visited. I loved the lakeview. It was so peaceful and quiet around.
Beautiful paved loop trail that is ~2 miles and has some nice views of the lake! It does seem to get a little busy on the weekends though (if the weather is nice).
Great place to get out in the open, particularly during a pandemic. Great trails and a very open atmosphere. Id recommend if youre trying to find an escape during this difficult time.
Perfect spaced walk around a 2 mile lake. Great way to spend a warm fall day in November!
This park has some Beautiful views. Nice place to go fishing too. The main path is very easy to walk, not a lot of hills, pretty straight. Their are other walking paths off the main one, but I havent been down any. Animals Ive seen here are cranes, squirrels, fish, ducks, turtles, and hawks. The wildlife is pretty comfortable with humans and dont run off when they hear someone coming.
I took my son here to check out the fitness trail and to ride our bikes. The fitness course is in the woods and has a few stations to stretch and work out. Just watch for the poison ivy.The trail around the lake was great for bike riding. We did 2 laps around and we were treated to a rainbow just before heading home. This was a nice place to ride and seemed really nice for a walk around the lake as well.
Great park to walk or picnic. Also good for photography
Nice park, it has a 2 mile paved walking trail. Can get busy on the weekends. One side has a playground area and baseball fields. The pond is stocked with fish to catch and release.
I love being able to walk here. Its a great 2 mile trail around the lake. Everyone you walk by is so friendly too
Ive been coming here since the early 2000s, nice trail with a nature trail, lots of wildlife and a nice place to relax and read
Very lovely park. Has a nice trail.
The park is excellent, has restrooms, paths maintained well by Town of Apex. Make sure to bing your mask because 8 out of 10 people there dont use them. Today I saw a small turtle, a crane, 47 squirrels and over 40 dogs of all kinds - some with their own carriages.
One lap is 2 miles. A good day is 2 laps. Plenty of people but easy to social distance.
Very nice paved trails. Lots of shade. Im making this one of my favorite trails.
Great park! Well lit tennis courts
I just come here to fish but its always good catfish fishing. Quiet, spacious and clean.
First visited this park on Labor Day because other parks in Cary were closed on the holiday. This one was open and met my needs. There was a complete 2 mile paved walking path and it was in excellent condition with several park benches along the way if you need to take a rest. The park and walking path is pet friendly with numerous pet waste stations all supplied with bags. There are two parking areas for the park, each with bathroom facilities and picnic tables. The walking path is well marked for distance traveled, and trail maps, and there is a water drinking fountain with an accompanying water bowl for pets. Fishing is allowed. Super nice park and super popular as well.
What an absolutely beautiful 2 mile trail to walk/run. I’ve just recently found this location and it’s a new favorite. It’s got a completely paved 2 mile walk. It’s a beautiful scenic route, accessible bathrooms, parks and so many more amenities. This trail is great for walking with strollers and is shaded which is perfect. Lots of nature and wildlife to see while strolling!
The park is very beautiful and not crowded. We went to play tennis on this beautiful day and there were enough courts for us. Afterwards we were able to play soccer without any crowding! Would recommended a lot of people to go here!
Love Apex community park, every field you can think of. Tennis courts well kept and maintained, soccer field always clean and mowed. Trails are great. Truly the peak of good living.
Beautiful lake with a paved 2 mile trail and a couple optional dirt trails along the way. The trails are shaded well through the summer. Its a great lake for kayaking and canoeing since the water stays very flat most of the time. Fishing is good for small crappie and bluegill. Good fishing for kids.
Its a fun place for mountain biking to an extent, more for fun and beginners but still has a couple really fun sections.
I love walking/running with my dog here. The Park and lake are always super clean.
Lots of people aft 10 30 today. Wonder where everybody works?
Love it here. Great place year round. Plenty of green in the summer and lots of color in the fall. 3+ miles worth of trails (2 paved, 1+ natural). Never too busy and more than ample parking.Always well maintained so you can walk it, run it, or bike it. Theyve also recently updated the picnic tables and new seating / benches in just the right spots for the perfect view. Definitely recommended!
Nice lakeside walk with great sunset view.
Really enjoy walks and his around the lake
This is a big park with 2 miles trail loop for walking . This park has all game courts like tennis, basketball, soccer, volleyball etc.. has big shelters for party and gathering of 20-40 people.Parking is available at both ends.
Beautiful walk... well maintained park... could use more parking we had to park along the road, traffic was heavy and fast making getting out of car and crossing street with dogs a challenge
Great community park. Love the lake trail. Can get crowded, and tennis courts fill up quickly
You can fish and even bike ride its a great place to go to just get out of the house
Nice 2 mile paved walk. Bathroom at parking area. Bring the dog and strollers.
A nice loop around the lake, but very crowded.
Great local area to take a walk, enjoy lunch, or take a quick break. My dog loves to walk here!
Great 2 mile trail with tons of shade and a good mix of hills and level walking
Easy, paved 2-mile trail, plus nature trails, playground and shelter. Many spots for sitting or picnics by the lake. I saw an egret and a bunch of baby ducklings.
I love this trail - it is easy to walk with strollers, all dogs are in leashes, and owners pick up their dog poop ... it is very well maintained, and a lovely walking trail.
Wonderful place. All people walking, talking, riding bikes, skating, walking their dogs and having fun.
Beautiful park. Needs more picnic tables.
Love coming here for a quick walk with my friends or a short fishing adventure in the evening. Perfect distance to walk around and good cover to keep you shaded during the hot summer months.
Nice. Easy loop, but can be crowded.
Great place to get to know someone...
This is a very nice park with good playgrounds and a very nice hiking trail around the lake.
The selfish part of me doesn’t want to share how much I love the Elevate Fitness Course. I really hope more parks add this type of course, It’s fun for all ages and a great family activity. My children are young adults ages 16, 17 and 21 years old. We went to check it out a few weeks ago in the evening and ended up having so much fun! My daughter and a group of her friends went twice in one week after our first visit. Get up, check out the real world and enjoy some real quality time with your family.
Beautiful scenery and nice 2 mile loop around the lake.
The greenway is great for walking, running or cycling. Clean and easily accessible.
Excellent community park with a wide variety of fun activities to do. The park has a lot of things to keep you entertained including playgrounds, tennis courts and basketball courts. I thourougly enjoyed coming here to walk around the lake and sightsee.
Awesome scenery, very clean path and the fishing is great
Beautifully well-kept park. Perfect for a lovely walk.
Try to walk here every lunch hour. Drop the stress and enjoy the walk. 2 miles in no time.
Nicely managed and beautiful scenery! Got 1/4 the way around with our almost 3 year old grandson. Cant wait to do the rest :)
Great place to walk or even fish! If you love blue gills or catfish, this is the place!
Nice trail and lake. We like to get off the paved trails to get closer to the water, so we appreciate the little spur trails that allow that. Can get a little crowded on nice days, but people normally are very considerate of each other, so that doesnt seem to cause much problem.
Not a great place for a leisurely walk, but good for a workout. It is a beautiful location and well-maintained trail, but it was very busy when I went on a Sunday afternoon and I couldnt enjoy the walk. I felt like I was going to get run over by power walkers and runners.
Clean and love how it is shaded so during hot weather doesnt feel so warm :)
Wonderful, smooth walking path (2 mi)! Lots of people and dogs walking. If you park off Lake Pine, keep in mind that the lot drive is one way! We were newbies and did not realize that. Parking lot also off Laura Duncan with entrance just past school. Looks like there are other unpaved trails.
Apex fishing license needed on top of North Carolina fishing license And extremely busy on a Sunday morning during Covid times.
I got run here all of the time. Its a really great place to get a quick workout in. Its always clean and quiet.
The Lake Pine Park in Apex is a joy! Beautiful! A great place to walk, jog (with/without your dog), with your family.
Flat 2 mile paved loop, gorgeous scenery. Easy parking, 2 entrances. Lots of tree overhang. Most important, bathrooms! Saw water fountain but did not test it.
Beautiful park and trail around the lake. Nice and shady.
Lots of fun stuff, trails, playground and a lake for fishing.
With paved paths and plenty of shade, its a great place to spend an hour walking around the small lake. There are also plenty of groomed trails as well, if you want to go on a little adventure. Great for families.
Perfect 2 miles around Lake Pine. Everyone is courteous and respectful.
We stopped here for a picnic. The area is very clean. There are a few picnic tables and a restroom. Quaint little spot to rest and picnic for a bit. Wasnt busy or crowded.
Love walking this 2 mile loop!
Best community park. It has baseball fields, soccer field, tennis courts, play ground, BBQ area and many more. The 2 miles trail is awesome. There is a nature trail also. we go there everyday. A must visit place.
My favorite park! Walked there more than 25 times.
Great park, path, and lake.
Trail is paved and well maintained. Obstacle course was fun for the whole family.
Best park in apex. Anyone catch any fish here?
6 lbs 5 oz on this beautiful Fathers Day
Beautiful, clean park with a paved greenway around a lake, and nature trails. Tennis courts, basketball hoops, batting cages, soccer fields. Several fitness courses. Two picnic shelters that I know of with charcoal grills. I absolutely love this place.
Excellent trail. Community of respectful people
Love the trails. Easy with my kids and dog.
Truly a great place for nature, sports, and family
This trail is a paved loop around the lake. It has a beautiful scenery along the trail. There is also a dock for fishing, playground for kids and adults, and access to the streets/apartments in the middle of the trail.
This is a very nice park for walking .... 2 miles around small lake, paved. Also have a batting cage, unusual. Courts, bathrooms, baseball field s, basketball, picnic tables. Very popular. You can kayak in the lake. Not sure about fishing. Our s really like walking there....lots of
Best place for jogging and walking !
It is a beautiful park and the lake looks like its loaded with fish. You can set up your chair and fish right off the grassy earthen dam which conveniently is adjacent to the parking lot. Just wish we had more time
The walkways are well taken care off. Bathrooms were clean. Nice picnic areas
The parking lot on Lake Pine could be bigger, since its often really busy. Otherwise a really well-maintained park.
Paved trail. Great nature sounds even though the main road is right there. You forget youre in a busy area. Great for exercising. Great for meditating. A lot of benches along the trail for those who need to stop and rest every now and then.
Beautiful, clean and well kept park. The trail around the lake is excellent for an evening stroll and lots of points for some great photographs.
Still trying to figure this body of water. It has lots of small channel cats. Catching them with red worms on the bottom and with a bobber. About 2 to 3 ft deep
Beautiful park with amazing trails!
Great view
Beautiful space:)
