Charlie is a very knowledgeable and helpful dealer. If you see something you like, don’t procrastinate, or you will come back to a “hole in the wall” and it will be sold!

We stumbled into this place by chance as we were passing through Carson City on our way to Tahoe. I have never met anyone more passionate and knowledgeable about pottery! Charlie shared a wealth of information with us and has a genuine appreciation for each individual artist. His collection is quite ecletic and interesting.

Extremely rude man! I called him and got about 10 words out before he hung up on me. Left him a bad review on Facebook and then he calls me back saying he doesnt appreciate the bad review, maybe if you wouldnt hang up on people you wouldnt get a bad review. This man is completely worthless do not waste your time purchasing anything from him whatsoever! Thanks for nothing Charlie! His response is nothing than trying to save his reputation. I explained Im trying to help an elderly neighbor raise money for medical treatment she desperately needs. He never said I dont sell things that belong to other people he just hung up. He is a very rude man and a obvious greasy salesman who will say anything to try and make himself look honest. pretty sure trying to help an elderly woman raise money for medical bills is a good thing to do for someone, on the other hand hanging up is not. I have to agree with the person who said owner was very rude. I called because I am researching a piece I just acquired and thought Charlie might help point me in the right direction to confirm name of potter. He was immediately short, assuming I was calling because I wanted to sell my piece on ebay. I dont. I just want to know more about it and offered to pay Charlie for his time. He immediately progressed from short to rude, though assuring me he knew more than anyone else on the topic. I accept that he did not want to help but it really wasnt necessary to be offensive. [The sentence that follows this bracketed notation appeared in my original, mid-November, post. I removed it briefly on 12/6/20 as a partial accommodation of the business owners demand I remove my comments. I replaced it the same day, along with this notation, when he asked me to restore my review to its original form and leave it unmodified pending resolution of his intended lawsuit against me for posting this review.] Guess he is nice if you want to buy in his shop, but thats his limit.
