I have been to Van Gogh & Vino twice now.. The first time was amazing! The instructor would do one step and explain how to do it then walk around and help anyone who needed it and when everyone (or mostly everyone) was ready to move on she would go up and explained in detail the next step. My friends and I had a blast and went home with paintings we loved. Since I had such a good time I suggested that that my sisters, my mother, and I go for the mothers day cow painting as this was our first mothers day since losing our grandma and she loved cows. Unfortunately class was awful.. The entire time the instructor was 4 or 5 steps ahead and was not explaining what she was doing. We had to go find her a few times to help us as she was barely walking around to help people. It was both of my sisters first time doing anything like this and they were both extremely frustrated when their painting was not coming out how they wished and we all felt like we had no guidance. As class finished up quite a few people were still trying to finish and instead of helping those who were struggling the instructor was chatting with people who were finished. My sister was trying to finish up and we were literally kicked out because the instructor had to leave. I felt as though the entire class was rushed because she had other plans and when I got home I was so stressed out and upset that I had suggested this for my family. It was not a relaxing painting class. It felt like a painting marathon. It was the exact opposite of a wonderful mothers day painting class. I do not think any of us will ever be back.

Theresa is a great instructor! She makes it fun and gives step by step instructions. And she helps fix any ness ups, so I always walk away with a painting I like. Ive done 6 now.

Was such a great time. My painting came out so great. Not the best direction but so many people to teach. Just did my own thing. The teacher was very nice, a little more direction would of been nice also maybe dont tell people there painting wrong everyone is artistic in there own way. Also being my first time ever painting.

I am the person who cant even draw a circle let alone paint something that looks like what it is supposed to be. I went in expecting to have fun with friends and nothing else. However, I had fun AND came home with a great painting. We are already planning to go back again.

Love this place! We come here at least every other month. So fun and Theresa is awesome.

Theresa is able to teach the unteachable to paint. Love that I take home a beautiful piece of art each time. The price is right and the atmosphere is so fun!!

This is the best Paint and Sip business in Northern Nevada. Theresa is such a talented teacher, you will be amazed at how your painting turns out. I highly recommend!

For $30 we had four wine glasses that we could paint whatever our hearts desired. With it being October and the weather in true form of Fall all around us we chose to paint a few in All Hallowes Eve theme and for my other two I got a little more adventurous with our teacher Teresas guidance and painted purple flowers. My girlfriend got very artistic with Teresas help and painted her favorite Football team, one in Old Saint Nick themed and her final one to reminder her to SIP HAPPY heheWe had an AMAZING girls night out, Teresa is an OUTSTANDING teacher, beyond patient and helpful and gosh its been wayyyyy too long, time to get back in there! With Fall around the corner time to grab my girlfriend and paint a picture, a beer stein or maybe one of the cute ceramics Teresa has in her wonderful studio.
