Great stop along the highway. Short trail with amazing views. Worth the stop, didnt cost us much time either.There were a few mosquitoes, so be warned!

Spring is the best time on this trail when vegetation is lush and wildflowers are blooming

This is an absolutely beautiful place! There are some nice hiking trails along the bluff overlooking the beach, and if you want a great beach experience, you will likely find this beach nearly deserted. It is closed a couple months out of the year when the seals are there. Lovely area!

A beautiful walk. Was great seeing all of the Harbor Seals.

Easy trail! Great view of the ocean. Burn some calories with a cool breeze. Rabbits, birds, lizards and sea life along the way. You end up at the beach so can also be a great place to relax inbtw the hike.

The quintessential California outdoors. Beach, waters, mountains, people exercising and the greatest, great weather anywhere. And oh... the Tee time golf driving range on grass is a definite added incentive if you ever need one.

Awesome place to come and hike, take pictures and see the boats while in the background you see the oil refineries in the ocean. Also if you take your time early morning, you can watch the sunrise.

Great trails beautiful

The seal sanctuary is peaceful. Just sit at the bench, enjoy the waves and watch the seals lay around (when its the season). Super easy, flat path to get there with amazing views.

Such a beautiful walk to do with a loved one or amazing people in your life. The trails are filled with wild life ranging from birds, Chipmunks, rabbits, lizards, and ocean life.

Great for hiking and riding bikes.Great for photography and setting up to paint landscape.

I really enjoyed it here... I came to do some bird watching and photography. I scored with a Great Blue Heron eating a rat whole!

I LOVE this place. And maybe it’s because of how close and convenient it is for me. But nonetheless, this place is awesome. I trail run and I walk my dog here. It’s a quick little jaunt down to the beaches too. And the overlook is gorgeous. I’ve met so many friendly people here too. Just a cool place to get a bit of nature into your day. I highly recommend it here!

Be careful not to accidentally walk off the trailer. Apparently theres a piece of the trail that goes into private property

Gorgeous, Scenic, amazing wildlife, definitely wonderful for hiking and great for out-of-towners and locals alike. Great to take your dogs or your kids and a awesome place to take photos or just go to think.

Great serene and clean place. Nice trail though steep, the view of the ocean and walk on the beach make it well worth it. Watch out for the active tar puddles.

The trail head is not clearly marked and the parking area is not the trail head as you would assume. Its worth the confusion cuz you just see more beautiful terrain and it forces you to enjoy it a little longer. Thats acceptable in my book.

The harbor seals reserve is just a short walk from the parking lot, the seals were adorable but it was disheartening to see oil rigs just off the shore
