Perfect place for an easy hike. Plenty of shade available on a warm day. Bring at least a couple of water bottles to hydrate yourself.

I know for a fact nobody is looking at the reviews for a free public trail parking lot. But if you are reading this, for whatever reason, Ill give you my review. There are only like 10 parking spots at each of the two parking lots, so you may not always get parking. The trail is very nice and very well made though. The water is a bit dried up bit its still a peaceful trail to walk or run on.

Very pretty trail. It is right on the lagoon. There are numerous parking lots and ways to get on this very short hike. The volunteers really try to keep these trails really clean as they do provided dog bags. Dogs are allowed on trail but on a leash. This is a very easy hike. It is mostly flat. There is an awesome little visitor center where kids can play and explore animals that live there. There is also a clean restroom for visitors to use.

Fun little trail! Loved the swings. Too bad there is so much trash laying around though. Plenty of trash cans supplies just lazy people

Really enjoyed these hiking trails. Its a very calm environment with a touch of nature. Definetely worth checking it out. I like the fact that there are QR barcodes that you can scan with your phone camera or QR code reader and you will get details on the animals or plants you are looking at. Theres several QR codes through out the hiking trails. Allows you to understand and appreciate more what you are looking at.

This trail has some amazing views. There is plenty of shade and the trail goes for several miles. The trail is large enough for dogs, strollers and large groups of people.

This is a wonderful trail! Lots of wildlife and friendly people. One note, though: there are frequent car break ins at the trail head, even in daylight during times of heavy use, so don’t leave valuables in your car!

Very easy hike about 3 miles long, no climbing at all, we saw a bird carrying a fish in its claws. According to other people who were closer, it was an Osprey. Lot of birds, lot of dogs, walking under eucalyptus trees

Keep it wild, folks! Would love to see some of these usually empty, sad green patches of large golf courses not too far by turn into natural habitat soon too. Love and cherish these habitats for there might be none left soon.
