I love how it closes earlier. And I especially enjoy how it closes two hours earlier on a friday and saturday night. Oh boy now kids just gotta figure out where to go and what to do after 8pm on the weekend

Many games to play including board games, electronic games, pool, air hockey, basketball, racket ball, workout room. When Ive been there a group of people were exercising.

Awesome for kids if they have friends not a lot of solo things to do.... need to take machines that dont work out as ur better off not trying them as more dont work than do... very cool area for kids thats free tho...

Great place for games and activities

Better than any rec center I hung out in when I was growing up. Seems so small, but they literally have everything! Basketball courts, weight room, board games, toddler jungle gym, arcade games snack and drink vending machines table games, I believe a banquet hall upstairs, scheduled activities, and probably more. Awesome sauce.

We used the powerhouse for a birthday party, we all had a good time! Plenty of tables and chairs and space

The Carlsbad recreation center is a fun and excellent place to visit for a fun time.the staff are nice and polite. The recreation center has a lot of old and fun games to play. the gear is good and the second floor is open to the public.

Awesome skatepark!

Great facility and I mean huge, built like a battleship for its original purpose; that of power generating station, friendly, helpful staff. There are a number of events geared to health and kids throughout the year and some of the areas best pickleball players play at the Rec Center. There are two excellent racquetball courts, room for six Pickleball courts and full court basketball, all inside. For upstairs there is even an elevator! A free calender is available at the center with the months activities. Plenty of parking and a very sophisticated skateboard park is just outside the door.

I bring my kids here every day!!!! They come and get access energy out before going home!!!!
