Nice park but really busy. Great for the local community.

Seriously wish the city would do more with this park. Its one of few places to take children locally. They did a great job on the basketball court but put in a tiny playground area. The park is kept clean.

Fun fun fun well maintained and nice for all ages. Vendors are also good the food and service good as well as prices.

My children and I are at Russell Park regularly with it being a couple blocks from my house. The kids absolutely love playing there.

Not a bad Park but they need to repair their bathrooms lighting sucks and there are no garbage cans in the bathrooms bathrooms should not be locked until the park is totally closed sometimes kids are waiting for their rides and the bathrooms are locked

Although we had a dog from there it was total chaos. The people did a good job given the shots but the customers were so rude cutting in line and going around them it was total disrespect the people that was offering the service. People in the neighborhood should be ashamed that they didnt let them do was a very kind act without any hassle

Could really use cameras to stop the vandalism by teenagers so bathrooms are not left open very inconvenient when the youths are practices there they are however open Ill during cheerleading practice upgrade to park are very nice but as I need to stress again this place needs cameras too many kids in this town allowed to hang out and Destroy things

Not the best place to take your kid. But its definitely improved over the years.

It really is ashame that the citizens of Carbondale dont take pride in the new park. There was water bottles thrown around and graffiti is all over the new equipment.

Nice place to hang out and play basketball or you can use there open field to play Football, soccer or any activities that include an wide open area. There basketball court getting re made so it is temporarily unavailable.

Wow! Well kept

The city tries to upkeep it, but there is often graffiti and sometimes older kids try to hang in the kids areas. They do baseball as well as soccer and football leagues. Often used for summer camp activities and they have, in the past, done free lunch during summer, too.

Great place to shoot some hoops with my son...

What a s**thole! Grass overgrown, garbage cans full,a forever renovation of basketball courts, fences, lights,walking paths. Definitely need new work crew and supervision!

I dont do much care for Russell Park

Was a great place growing up. But has gone down hill now.

Love taking the kids to the park run around for hours and have such a great time

If they keep up and finish the improvements its going to be a nice park!

Ive been going here since I was little. The kids things have been updated but also vandalized. The fields are large and maintained. Bathrooms are always locked and Im sure for good reason. The need someone to be on duty all the time for maybe concessions, or bathrooms.

Lots of space

With the recent construction of the park things are not as good as they used to be, there are not as many things to do there as there were before there no longer are soccer goals and the tending of the park is scarce at best if possible I recommend another park
