We had a fantastic experience with this company! Boat was perfect and the owner even offered us to switch days so we would have better weather (original day turned out to be rainy but thanks to her we had nothing but sun!). Will 100% use this company again when vacationing here in the future.

My wife and I were visiting Fort Myers Beach. Decided to rent a pontoon boat to explore the waters. Shopped around and rolled the dice on Discount Boat Rentals our of Cape Coral. I say roll the dice because they were the cheapest by far.Overall our experience was great, booking and communicating was simple with no headaches. The boat we rented was the model described and worked without issue for the day. The boat did show signs of wear with a few dents and scuffs, it was missing the table and had a storage door that didn’t stay shut however this didn’t affect our day and we were happy to save 150$ over other rental companies and I assume most rental boats would be in similar condition.

We called them at 9am to reserve a boat for the following day which would have been a Saturday and took our credit card information and said she would send a confirmation and we waited all day with no confirmation. At 8pm my wife called to cancel due to we didn’t know if we would even have a boat for the next day. And the guy who answered was very rude and once the lady called back she became very rude. No wonder they are cheap because they have no respect for customers nd how they do business which is very unprofessional. I would rather pay more and get treated with respect!!! Now she wants to come on here and say she was warned about these people from another company!Unless she was talking about color of a person skin and that’s more unprofessional and racist. That there shows she can even lie because this is our first time even renting a boat. So right there shows about her personality that can come on here and make up a lie. And on top of it she had the nerve to call me back and cursed me out due to I posted my bad experience with them. And when I have make reservations I normally get my confirmation right away or under 1 hour. A confirmation is a form of notice that is sent to the buyer that shows the reservation is completed for the dates requested, which we never received. So don’t come on here and say we can’t cancel because you never sent no confirmation of our dates requested was even reserved. Just a bad way how they run their business.

Discount Boat Rentals is a great boat rental company. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and their boats are really nice. Good prices for a full day rental. Thanks so much, you definitely have a repeat customer!

If I could give no stars I would. We barely get any days off. We called during the week to reserve a boat for Sunday. Gave plenty of notice. They call me the morning of to say a boat was damaged and they wont have the one we rented available but a smaller engine one ready at 10am so already losing an hour and a slower boat. But than it gets worse. Calls me back ten minutes later to tell me she doesnt have anything available the boat she thought is rented.What a MESS!! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.Now we have to wait all week for a refund .What a joke .
