I love the historical boathouses, which are quirky and colorful. Some of them are decorated meticulously and definitely worth checking out. I also enjoyed the walk down the alley between the houses (and ran into a friendly owner there).

Beautiful place to walk along the northern tip of Canandaigua Lake. The colorful boat houses are a must see and lovely photo opportunity!

My Friend owns a boathouse on Pier 2082 degrees today on September 9th - boatride & swim was awesome

So beautiful and serene! A bit cold during fall but still a nice place for a walk. We enjoyed a lot walking around. During weekend the small market is closed so there was no way to buy coffee.

Great family atmosphere! Obviously busy on the weekends, but if you catch it right during the week, very relaxing.

What can I say? As a teen, this is where we hung out. To see and be seen. As a parent, this is a place to sit and eat ice cream and watch the water. It can be so relaxing.

Went fishing here, super nice area. Able to drive on the pier to park!

Beginning in the Spring & through the beginning of fall, this pier is usually bustling with fisherman, boaters, paddle boarders, joggers, couples & kids, but never in a loud or annoying way. Its just a great place in the community to get outside & do so in a gorgeous setting! Also its a must see place for photographers!!!

Amazing waterfront views, and great shopping and eating experiences withing walking distance. Not to mention tons of water based activity on a gorgeous lake!

Very nice place to go and walk around. You can go and get ice cream or look at the lake,we ride the motorcycle up and go for a walk

If you can find a parking spot its a nice place to sit and have a coffee, or even a little picnic meal. Very well kept up. Nice for an evening stroll.

Great place to relax

A nice area to walk around, with a few little shops and opportunities to commission boat rides. Of course if you have a boat, this place is also a logical spot to store it, whether you manage rent or buy a boathouse here or store it just off the pier in the marina.

Very relaxing ️ I am here every day enjoying the wind and water. Love seeing all the boats, kayaks, paddle boats and etc.

It was beautiful

This is a nice place to enjoy the sunset or a nice morning or evening. Lots of parking and during the nice weather, often a lot of nice cars cruising around which can be fun to watch. Lots of benches to relax on, as well.

Nice area near the lake and docks. We brought a picnic lunch. There are some tables and several benches facing the water. There were 2 hot dog stands and also an ice cream shop that sells some boating souvenirs.In addition to boating, some were there just to fish. I also saw kayak rentals.We walked around some and saw some historic boat houses.Near the pier, there is New York Kitchens which has a restaurant, bars, kitchen related shops and also cooking classes. We were there late on Sunday so very little was happening.Also nearby is a lakeside hotel with both casual and formal dining. They also host large outdoor (under a tent) wedding receptions. It appears the are setup for outdoor wedding ceremonies too. But Ive wandered away from the pier...

Many locals love this spot, its nice to walk along, fish, feed the ducks, enjoy the lake view and just relax. The park is tiny, and seasonal, but you can visit any time with limited, free parking. Restrooms available when park is open, theres a tiny store with refreshments, sometimes a food truck or hot dog stand in summer. No swimming, carry out your own trash.

Love this place. Not many things exist like this. Great scenery, awesome bird life, great for people watching. Usually a great breeze. View of lake houses is awesome. A gem in the Finger Lakes.

I was cruisin down the pier on 3/7/18 and I saw this red and creme colored truck next to the bathroom. At first it seemed like just a normal old guy was enjoying the view of the lake, and then I see a womans head come out of his lap. Overall 420% rating. I love this place. I grew up here and its been a fun place to hang out with friends or even get a hot dog from a hot dog stand in the summer.

This is a very colorful and distinctive place. All the folks are very friendly, and the view of the lake is fantastic!

Nice place

One of the highlights of Canandaigua and even the Finger Lakes. The place is abuzz in the summer with boaters, fisherman and sight seers, not to mention an ice cream stand and public bathrooms, but the true beauty is that rare night or morning you can go down and be alone and truly one with nature. Plan on stopping by!

Took my 92 year old Dad to the place were he and my Mom used to visit when she was still with us and its always nice place to spend time.Today, there was a gentleman dressed as the Grinch handing out candy coal to all us naughty oldtimers.A must visit if youre in Canandaigua.
