Clean and quiet. Good fishing

This was so relaxing. I was able to sit and enjoy a picnic meal. The Grandchildren were able to play in a great playground area. We were also able to go down to the water on one side. They waded in the shallow waters edge and picked up baby crabs. We saw ships anchored in the bay and watched others as they sailed by. It was a great learning experience . Id go again.

Enjoyed the park, very kid friendly. Lots of tables with excellent water front views.

You can walk, exercise while experiencing the choptank river

Beautiful views, nice park with creative toys for the kids. Only negative is that there arent any restrooms at this location, you have to go to where the boats are docked for restrooms. Not ideal if you have small children.

Great park to relax, this is home to Ironman Maryland and Eagelman 70.3. The park was renamed after the late Ironman race director Gerry Boyle. BTW If youre interested in Triathlons, this a great venue to check out.

Visited here in a beautiful day in May. Lots of birds out if you enjoy birding. My daughter and I rode bikes though the park - such a nice way to spend a Saturday! Lots of people out fishing as well. Will have to go back soon and bring the kayaks.

One of the most beautiful parks Ive ever been to. Everything in one location- beach, huge playground area, great place for a cookout, boat ramp, fishing, exercise on the track, while the kids play, you can even wade in the water to cool off on a hot day. Clean & well maintained park. One of the best places in Dorchester County!

Its a great place to spend with family. Picnicking, strolling, just great quality time.

Swing sets, updated playgrounds, home of the many great events. Definitely love visiting. Specially if youre a Pokemon Go-player!!!

~Great Marshy Park is open during daylight hours year-round~ Parking lot is open during daylight hours year-round and is easy to get to and from, but your vehicle will not be next to your table or grill.~No bathrooms, just a single Port-a-Potty, which is barely accessible to able-bodied adults, much less a decent facility. No running water.~Only 2 trashcans for a well-used park, so trash tends to be on the ground.~Families enjoy the well-spaced, unique, play structures and covered pavilion.~Bring your own grill, and ways to wash your hands.~The paths need to be fixed to keep them from flooding for days after rain. ~There are 2 tiny sandy beaches for kids to play in, adult supervision is absolutely necessary as neither are easily visible.~Public, free boat ramp.~Huge, open grassy field to play soccer, maybe fly a kite, run around like a crazy 5 yo.~Wheeled strollers will grumble and complain about the unmaintained gravel paths, but the paths pretty much go to where you want to go.-There are trees for shade and kite-eating, although the prevailing breezes tend to blow kites away from them.~There are two narrow, wooden piers that are not to be fished or crabbed from, but will be irresistible to kids running back and forth.~Police do patrol regularly, but this is a family-friendly park filled with people having fun hanging out.~Bring plenty of SPF 30+ (Caucasian or whatever) you will be out in the sun for hours.~Bring plenty of trash bags for your own and maybe a little extra trash.~It would be great if you could somehow collect all your cigarette butts and throw them into your trash.~This is a family-friendly park and it would be especially nice if its a clean, safe place, right?~Bring plenty of wipes for hands and faces. Used ones go in your garbage bags.~I have no good idea to avoid the nasty Port-a-Potty.~Great Marshy Park is open during daylight hours year-round~ Dogs on leashes love this park! I dont know if cats, ferrets, parakeets would love it. Raccoons and seagulls scavenge a little noisily and aggressively: hence the plea to pick up all your trash plus a little extra.

We were here to watch Ironman Maryland. Perfect place to have the race and I love that the race started and finished close to here. There was also a playground for the kids which is also a nice bonus.

Small beach for swimming. Nice manicured lawn for frisbee or football. Plenty of playgrounds. Nice little dock too that you can fish from

Thunder on the Choptank in Cambridge Md. Warming up engines for Saturday qualifying runs.

A great family hang out! There is a very large grassy park with loads of newly built playground areas. Large parking lot, well maintained boat ramp, picnic tables, a small pretty beach to play on or swim. The Town of Cambridge also sets off their fireworks here for the 4th of July.There are about a dozen #ingress portals here as well.

Greta place to walk, play, picnic. Greta large open space on the water to play ball or have family get together, has a beach for playing and swimming.

We love to crab and fish here, has 2 long piers, has boat ramp. Have met wonderful people here! Lots of crabs!

Great little park for exercise. The park has multiple play areas and equipment for children. Great for picnics with: BBQs/Grills, covered pavilion with tables and bench seating, plenty of open grass space, and lovely views of the Choptank. Also a poplar boat ramp with plenty of parking, a couple small piers to fish off of, and areas to swim at your own risk.

Always a great place to visit, fish, take a lunch break by the water, I wish the town hadnt changed the parking lot, it was much better when you could pull up closer to the water, the large areas for plants or shrubbery may ad a visional appeal, but it takes away more from function!
