Always a great experience at the List! This show in particular really stood out! Curation was really clever.
Has interesting shows, manyQuite thought provoking. A must see if youre on campus. Free to the public!
Interesting exhibits just a small hall though.
A nice set of small galleries with well curated contemporary art shows on the MIT campus. Maybe a little too small at times. Easy to absorb all the works on display in an hour or so. The Weisner building and its public art installations are a treat in themselves.
The exhibits were unique, staff was friendly, and the price (free) cant be beat!
A beautiful contemporary art museum. They have a nice website where you can find the schedule of all shows that are coming up. Cool gallery opening nights with vegetarian and vegan friendly options of food + tasty wines. Nice conversations, amazing art experiences and a meaningful contemporary art - these are the things you get at the LIST.
Contemporary art in a beautiful building. Exhibits change frequently, with something on view when major exhibits are changing. Free.
Dude I just saw Bowling Balls held together by marble. I guess on the upside it is free, and thats super cool of MIT to do this; but snooty rich kids and pretentious art really makes this place a drag. Go literally *anywhere* else.
Saw Ericka Beckmans special exhibit, Double Reverse. Worth a short visit to see the four short avant garde videos. Plan 10-15 minutes
They give out original Picasso and alikes to their students for a year to take home. Imagine that!!?
This is a great experience
Cool exhibits featuring thematic modern art and MIT students’ work. Small space and only a few works, but admission is free and it’s housed in a beautiful, architecturally interesting building.
The art pieces were contemporary when I went, had a lot of variety from all different types of artists.
Its spacious but nothing really exciting.
Beautiful MIT wants everyone to care about art just go and its free
Great place to buy souveneirs from.
Very interesting, fun venue to work
Small but sometimes interesting exhibits.
1980s museum and building.
Good exhibits in a modern space. The perfect coda to a tour of the MIT campus.
Not a bad place to see a band. Movie theater set-up, no food or beverage service.
Unbelievably rich collection
Good place to see contemporary work. Nice staff
Nice exhibition with rotating themes, Norway location, and it’s free! Thanks MIT
