I loved this bar. Fun arcade games that reminded me of being a kid + you can order great drinks too. We spent a very fun evening here when visiting Burlington. Id definitely come back.

Do you like arcade games? I didnt realize how much I liked pinball until I had a fist full of tokens ($5 for 20 tokens! 2 for pinball machines, and 1 token per arcade play).There are an assortment of machines to play on and the bar list of ciders, beers, drinks, etc is very long. The bartender also had a great recommendation for me when it comes to ciders! It was a peach cider and very good.Enjoy this fun arcade night with some good drinks!

Nice bar/arcade with more than 5 working pinball machines including a few Sterns and a DataEast. They have unique and interesting drinks as well. They also have an extensive beer menu and a cheese plate.I would highly recommend this place to anyone with an interest in pinball.Only issue I had as an archivist was that the menu featured acidic paper and non-rustproof brads ;)

Fun place with a great cocktail and beer menu. They serve cheese for food which is perfect for am arcade. This is truly the archives of arcades and has all really old games. Some great gems in there, and would be great to see some more recent classics as well! Thanks for a good time!

This place is AWESOME! While visiting Burlington for an extended weekend I ended up here twice. Its such a cool experience to play old school arcade games. The staff was also really helpful (the change machine ran out of quarter and the man we told was very nice and fixed it very quickly). Will be back for sure!

Excellent staff, very attentive, courteous, patient and knowledgeable. Clean bar. Very nice collection of craft beers and craft cocktails. The games are retro and a lot of fun, great way to pass the time and spend an evening. One of the bartenders is incredibly strong, ask anyone.

If you’re looking to kill some time late afternoon, this place is great. Solid selection of classic arcade games that are cheap to play. Beer selection is wide and unique, one of the best in Burlington. They have some food, but could change it around a bit.

Great craft beer selection. Ordered an excellent cheese plate that featured all Vermont cheeses. Beers from The Alchemist, Hill Farmstead, Lawsons, and Hermit Thrush. Great selection of vintage arcade games and pinball. Games such as Rampage World Tour, Area 51, Tekken, Ms Pac Man, etc. Oh yea... and 4 player X-Men. Awesome time. Great service across the board.

This place is fun! Tried two different cocktails and both were creative and well crafted. Big selection of cocktails and also offered some nice beers on fraught. Had a blast playing the old games- Galaga, tekken, pinball, etc. machine for change also accepts credit cards which is nice. I’d be back for sure!

Old School Retro Arcade is Back (and will last forever I hope) Very nice selection of Epics Retro Arcades Games... and such a nice combinason with local beers (sounds great, isnt? ;0) ) Everythings seems to be perfect place to have fun and relax. My only suggestion is maybe to ad an emulator arcades with thousands of games in order to offer a broader selections of grames.

I had a terrible experience with a bouncer here. My friends legitimate Pennsylvania drivers license got flagged as a fake. My friend disputed the decision, and the bouncer called the sheriffs to validate the ID. He said it came back as false.Mind you, the license is legit.We flagged down a nearby police officer, who ran it through their database, and confirmed the ID was real. At this time, the bouncer started telling the officers that ~they~ were wrong, saying he trained people to spot fakes. Eventually, we were let in, but not before my friend was almost driven to tears because of how aggressive this bouncer was.I dont blame the bouncer for making a mistake. Bouncers here likely process 200 IDs a night, 365 nights a year. Mistakes are bound to be made. But what I do have an issue with is this:1. Who did the bouncer call, if anyone? The Burlington Police Department verified the ID as legit. If the bouncer actually called a sheriffs office, and the ID came back fake, then there are discrepancies in the system being used, which is a huge issue. Or, did he fake a call to the sheriffs office as an appeal to authority? If this is the case, then he lied to us, and thats reprehensible.2. Upon being told by the officer that the ID was real, he doubled down on his stance, and started telling them they were wrong! He was trying very hard not to let my friend in.I will not be returning here. I advise that you also do not go to an establishment where at least one bouncer is using illegitimate verification methods, is lying, or both.

If they had more food options I may have given them 5 stars. Very cool spot, i am glad they arent trying to gouge on the price of games. Spent $10 and played for almost 2 hours.

I really enjoy the all of the arcade games, im a super picky drinker and only like certain things and they helped me find a delicious underwood wine !! The bouncing staff (Chris) is friendly and knowledgeable of other happenings in the area if you in the mood to bar hop ! In the summer i love when they have the big windows open and you can hang out on the patios!

Classic arcade games, 4 stars for no house of the dead. Good cocktails though!!

The Archives fills a hole for barcades in Burlington, however it is sadly extremely restrictive to under 21 folks due to its nature. Tilt was a better experience, but sadly it closed years ago. For now, Archives is the best we have.

They also have Tetris! Great beer selection.

Archives is a great spot to play some video games out with friends. I hit this place up often. Their cocktails are carefully crafted and their events are a good time. You should check it out unless youve got something against arcades, you monster.

This place is so fun. I went with my son and his boyfriend a couple of times and at first I thought I would be too old to fit in. Im not into the bar scene at all. But the arcade games are freaking awesome and people of all ages are welcome. My only suggestion is more food options please!

Edit 07/2019Used to love this place. Great beer selection, great cocktails, great ambiance. But for whatever reason (we were talking to another group on the patio!?!), the bouncer did not let got in because we had drank before. Wow. Thanks, but ill just go somewheres else then....

Ive gone to arcade bars before, this one seemed kind of bummed out. There werent a lot of people in there, which seems like its be cool, but for some reason it just lacked that fun atmosphere. The arcade games were pretty cool, but they didnt have a lot of multiplayer and you have to use their token machines. Theyre cocktails are good, so Id suggest going here for drinks and using the games as more side entertainment when you get bored instead of going here to enjoy an arcade and drinking casually.

Great place if you want to socialize or play old school video games. The bartender Renee on Wednesdays totally rocks! The atmosphere is very cool and plenty of selections to drink from.

One of my first stops every time Im in town. A great spot with top quality drinks and an ever changing menu. The games are a great plus to the high quality drinks.

One of the best bars downtown. It has tons of classic arcade games and pinball machines to choose from as well as a great beer and mixed drink selection. This place is a must go if youre looking to find something a little less crowded than the bars right on Church Stree

One of my favorite spots to go to! Different than every other night out - can have fun and hang with friends! Addicted to the Pac-Man although would be interested to see them add some more driving games.

Talk about a flash back in time! There are some phenomenal archives here dating back to the good ol day of Asteroids! A collection of games complimented exceptionally well with their selection of beers, which was a variety of great craft Breweries both local and some just a tad furhther. I inadvertently brought some coins home, guess Im going back to check out the Archives soon!

Dont go here on a Friday night if you want to drink. The bartender with the mustache is about the worst server you will find in Burlington. Sad because the place looks cool but the service was a joke.

Drinks are some of the best in Burlington, games are a pretty great throwback too.

Excellent drinks and service. Lots of people but didnt seem cramped. The games are all pretty vintage. Some were pretty fun but a good number of them were strange to play. If you grew up playing a certain game it would be great but if you didnt know how to play it was kind of lame.

Best beer list in Burlington

The games are alright, but the drinks are pretty ridiculously priced. Staff seems to take forever and does things at their own leisure. Ive heard horror stories about their bouncers being total eggheads and going on powertrips.

The beer selection was quite good but the game selection was not as extensive as I would have liked. This probably is a result of the smaller space than other bar arcades Ive been to. Still a good time!

Went here tonight and was completely ignored by staff, sat at the bar, nobody took my order and instead served others that arrived after me. Huge bro vibe, wouldnt recommend.

Awesome arcades and beer selection, but this place suffers from the inevitable hipster service that plagues all the cool bars. The staff is friendly but sometimes fail to see you waiting at the bar, and when they do finally take your order, expect more waiting.

If a bar has old arcade games, I will go, and I enjoyed the hell out of this one. Great selection of Pacman/Galaga-era games, 90s games (TMNT arcade game, Simpsons arcade game, etc) and pinball. And in a really nice touch, the token machine accepts both cash and card.Great beer list as well, draft and cans.

Old Skool Arcade Games...WITH ALCOHOL!!! WOOOOOOO!

I was kicked out for ordering a bourbon. They said I was aggressive, and when my party asked how, they said I had ordered bourbon and that they had a couple years xp and should know. My phone was dead, and I had to rely on others to get back to my hotel, a 20 minute drive away.

Fantastic little place to go. Plenty of old arcade games to play for $0.25 each. Machines use tokens which can be purchased by cash or card at a few vending machines within the bar. Large bar with a some seating along it, but plenty of tables around the location.

Pretty chill place until they decide they do not feel like you should be there. Stopped by on a whim. Music was good, games were good, and drinks were nice. Bartenders were doing a nice job. Saw someone at the bar get told they were not going to get server any more and thought hey maybe that guy was drunk so good call by the bartendets. Then saw another group, not drunk or loud, get told they were not going to get served. I was interested in what was going on cause I was right next to yhem.So...1 person asked What happened! We werent loud, we are not driving and we arent drnk. The bartender replied, I think we served you enough tonight. They TV hen handed them their bill.I saw 2 groups, neither of which were drunk or loud, refused service in 20 minutes. I promptly closed my tab and left because I did not want to be the next victim.
