Great beach, sandy swimming area, plenty of trees for cover set back from the water. Great experience! Pics are by the water show/boat area.

Great park to hang out during the summer. New shower house built in 2020.Minimal fee to use this park. Worth it.

Clean beach/park nice bathrooms too. Spacious boat launch with plenty of Piers and room to launch a boat. They could use more trailer parking.

Surprisingly warm water for a beach. You can go right in without your body figuratively screaming NO, too cold!. It has a pier and lifeguards, and is a great place to bring small ones. (Humans, not sure about pets.)When we went, there was some renovation being done on the main building, so the only bathrooms are portapotties right now. The sand is good enough for sand castles, but not great. (Clay can be found under the sand pretty quickly.)The community was nice and it seems like a nice place to meet fellow beachgoers. The fish on the other hand are sometimes mean; more than one member of my family said a fish bit them. The water was clear enough to barely see the fish before they disappeared among the sandy bottom of the lake.

So excited to see they are building new rest rooms/changing rooms. This is my favorite (and close to home) beach to head to. Im laughing at the review someone left that said, go to silver lake beach, they got food, drinks & ice cream. This beach has rocks that cut your feet Really? Thats your review of the Beach? Why do you bother coming? Clearly its not about the beach for you. Actually Ive seen a couple of people commenting it would be nice if there were less rocks - head to Nagawicka Lake sometime and the public beach..then come talk to me about the rocks. Browns Lake is very nice.

Mostly there is a beach, areas to picnic and a boat launch. Its pretty nice.

Great beach for the kids! The tables were spaced out to help with social distancing and I was pleased with how clean the beach was and many garbage cans that were emptied!

Clean beach area with plenty of room to play and relax. The admission price is very reasonable (cant recall the exact cost, but it was close to $2) and the parking and bathrooms are very close without creating any traffic or smell issues. There are a lot of nicely shaded picnic areas as well for when you need a break.

They make you pay for no reason i mean one second a person there asking for 2$ to get in then there isnt no one and ppl get in for free they ask for money from who they want

Love love love this park...very affordable (2.00 for 6 yrs and older) the park is very clean, theres also grills and indoor restrooms. The water is nice and its sand bottom. Just an overall great place to spend the day.

Beautiful park just should have let people know that they were closing bathrooms at 4 while swimming is open till 10....

My favorite place in the world. Have been coming here since I was a little kid. My kids and the rest of my family love it. Trips to Browns Lake are a family tradition. Sometimes it gets a bit over crowded but otherwise its a great place.

Great time had by all. Nice beach and water was very refreshing.

Forgot I had an open wound and ended up with cellulitis. However, it is a great lake. Just make sure not to go in the water with an open wound.

Great place to bring the family has a beach and docks for boats.

We always have a good time with our kayaks, grilling and just an overall good family picnic.

I love swimming, and this is an eco way to go find a place to swim.

Fantastic! Clean grounds, beach lifeguards on duty, ample parking, grills plenty for of trashcans and bathrooms. Only downside was a non employee busybody. But everyone else was kind and polite.

A nice beach on Browns Lake near Burlington. However, there was no food consession.

It was my first time, I was nervous. We were hot and wet, the sun went down and the fireworks began, you never forget the first time....the citys July 4th show wasnt bad either!!

A real dump, go to silver lake beach, they got food, drinks & ice cream. This beach has rocks that cut your feet

Update as of July 2018.... The beach has been covered with fine sand, and is now perfect for the kids to play and gentle on the feet. Very clean and peaceful. Beautiful park and lake.

Awesome little beach! Couldnt believe hot nice the water was!

We go to Fischer park every Saturday. I love that they have lifeguards until 6:30 (I just wish they were more alert *hence the 4 stars).It costs $2 a person, and parking is limited. They have a tree shaded grassy area with picnik tables and charcoal park grills.Bathrooms are open until 6:30 (the porta potty is cleaner and open 24/7)They now allow blow up floaties and that makes it a little over crowded, but its still a great time for everyone.
