Great museum! Very small but extremely comprehensive. The museum president is very nice and helpful. Its a great museum for adults and for children alike. They showcase all forms of martial arts and even play video clips from TV shows and movies where martial arts is featured, such as Kim Possible and Ice Age. Wonderful little gift shop with affordable goods. 10/10 worth a visit. Free day is the first Thursday of the month after 3pm, but regular price is $10.

This place is absolutely worth the price of admission and the time that you spend here! 5 stars! its a self guided walk through with little informative videos (i highly suggest you watch them) there is so much to know and learn about martial arts that you wouldnt even realize it. if youre in the area or even have minimal interest in martial arts, you should definitely stop by

Good overview of the major different styles of martial arts developed around the world. Friendly, knowledgable staff. Will be expanding to a larger facility in the future which will increase the number of exhibits, improving the experience. Worth a visit if youre interested in martial arts.

The place was small but if you sat and watched all the videos it would make it a 10 minute tour, if you just walked around it would only take a couple of minutes... Although there wasnt as much as I hoped, I can appreciate the effort in creating it, so I would say people should at least drop by to show support..

SO COOL!!! Only 10$, kids were even cheaper, and really interesting go at your own pace style. Had no idea that polynesian martial arts existed, and you get to see a lot of the different cultures surrounding martial arts, and they included a lot of women and pop culture to keep it interesting and fresh, even if youre not a super fan like myself. Guy even gave me the name of a place to donate an old judo uniform! 10/10 my only hope is they get a chance to expand!

Incredible place!! Great to learn about your favorite martial arts history. Really fun to take kids to so they understand the martial arts all around the world. They also go through martial artists action stars and their roles in films. So you can explore your different martial arts action stars. See there history and read even more information about them and enjoy the photos. They have really fun events at least a couple times a month. Sometimes you even get to meet the action stars themselves. This is incredible meeting your heros you grew up with. The same people go often so it becomes a little community for martial art lovers and practioners. The museum is nonprofit so its also a tax write off.Its a very fun time and great to take business clients that also love martial arts.

This place is amazing! I believe this was the first martial arts history museum in the US. I dont know if there are any others as of now but if you are a martial artist or just a fan of the movies its a must-see. Michael Matsuda the curator and director of the museum is always changing up the items on display. On any given night you can walk in there and see the biggest martial artists alive spending time visiting with Michael or being honored for something or another.

The only museum in the WORLD dedicated to Martial Arts History is located on Magnolia Blvd. on one of the best browsing streets in Burbank, CA.If you are a lover of sports or martial arts, it is a hidden gem hidden in the middle of a hectic entertainment corridor. Dont be surprised to see some well known film and television faces popping in for a visit. Its a great location for a school tour with seating in the back for group lunch breaks. And dont forget to hunt some Pokemon while you are visiting! :D

Worth it if youre into martial arts and anime. Plenty of free street parking available. Entry is $10 per person. They have videos, costumes, gears, and other related memorabilia. Of particular interest is an original shield from the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie. I wasnt thrilled by the displays or by the relatively small size of the museum, but Im just not into marshal arts and anime. If youre into those things, this place is awesome.
