Doing a job there. Very nice resort. Very well maintained & good security! Love the resacas!
If you are over 55 and want a quiet place to retire this is it!!!
Wonderful place, wonderful people with lots to do- 3 pools, tennis, bocce ball, chipping range w/putting green, pool tables, card games/tournaments, dances, dinners and lots more
OMG Best RV resort we have stayed at. The community is like one big family, extremely freindly and fun to be around. I am a very active person and tried to attend all the activities I was interested in. Had to take a day off to rest. Dont want to leave, but will be back next year. Shelly :>)
Most overpriced park in the Rio Grande valley. Shopped several different 55+ gated parks from Mission to Brownsville and this is the worst bang for the buck. The facilities, landscaping, and roads were average. The touted resacas are stagnant and stinky. They put dye in them to make it look good. The fellow that gave us a tour of the park said that there were fish in the resacas, but he wouldnt eat them. The folks that we met were nice, but thats the most positive thing that I can say.
Great area, very clean. Very kind and friendly staff. Its big with two club houses that include plenty of showers.
Our second stay. Every thing is top notch. See you soon
Very nice place
A very nice quiet place
Small town feeling. Lots to do
Absolutely love Winterhaven the park is nice and clean stay was great
I purchased a lot with an RV on it. It’s a mixture of rv’s, manufactured homes, and stick built homes. I was today informed that I could not hang sheets and clothes in my carport to dry! It’s against the rules. I drove up after ripping down my clothes lines to the office and requested a copy of the rules. The office gave them to me and I could not locate where it is written I cannot hang my clothes out in the carport. I was then told by a neighbor that certain people complain and it immediately becomes a rule. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My wife and I work at the public schools in San Antonio area and are advising any teachers to not buy here. This place is run in my opinion by assclowns!
It is a very neat and tidy resort.
Great resort! Three pools, many activities, friendly people, plus it wont break the bank
Lots of permanent sites. Not really an RV atmosphere. Need to upgrade their entertainment.
Came to visit my parents who live here. They LOVE it. The clubhouse has activities daily and nightly including card games, shuffleboard and even fundraisers. They have regular dinners at the clubhouse and groups get together weekly to explore the local restaurants.
Its a very beautiful place they have a lot of outdoor fun for our senior citizens
The best place to live your last days. secure. quite. peaceful etc.etc

Wonderful place to own a house, Mobile home or RV.
I visited friends here at winter park, amazing park, well groomed, water everywhere. Streets clean, trees trimmed, every home pretty and well kept.
I rented a place here for a few days. Very nice, clean and quiet place. Well maintained and everyone I met was very friendly.
Do alot of work in the park for AZTEC and besides the customers the patrons are always very nice, seems like a awesome park to live in especially all the activities for seniors,
This gated community has all the amenities you expect at a resort. While it is busier in the winter months, there is a good-size population hear year-round. It is a nice mix of US and Canadian residents and has houses, mobiles, and RVs.

We lived in Winter Haven (a gated community for 55 and over)for four years. It is an RV resort that also has houses for permanent residents and also privately owned places available for rent throughout the year. It is a wonderful resort with alot of amenities to enjoy while youre there. Really nice and big clubhouse where they have lots of activities everyday. Putting green for golfers to practice. Shuffle board, Bocce Ball, tennis courts, go for a walk or run or a bike ride on the beautiful paved streets with sights like the wonderful ressacas (water ways) and beautiful tropical blooms all along the way. And you may see two lovely swans that are residents of the park. Then choose from the three heated pools for a cool down or a warm up in the clubhouse jetted hot tub. Rest up a bit and in a 30 minute drive you can be on South Padre island for Fun, Food and of course the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Enough said...I tend to ramble as I love it so.
