I have been at GT Bray Park coaching Little League baseball 4 / 20 years an umpire for over 5 they keep the part of today like no other part does and a lot of construction is going on now for a new concession stands for All Sports new dugouts new scorekeeper stands everything that you can imagine they are replacing police officer Patrol all the time I feel very safe out there

Its a great place to go for nature walks and frisbee golf and the kids like the swings and the slides

They need to put sidewalks around some of the soccer fields for handicap people with walkers or wheel chairs so they can enjoy the games.

Cute park, love the AstroTurf for little ones running around. The equipment was slightly beat up/worn. I like how many slides they had in varying sizes.

Very pretty park. Well maintained! I used to come here as a child and now it has gotten even more amazing. There is a ton of stuff to do here- very impressive.

A great place for all your sports especially if you play frisbee disk golf! Dog parks,great staff keeps gounds clean and well maintained this park is truly a gem!

My Grandsons favorite play park. We go a few times a week and there are always a lot of others for him to play with.

This park features well kept field for baseball. There is ample parking and many activities offered in the rec center. Five stars No Doubt. Part of it is dog friendly but you cant bring your dogs on the baseball field and let him poop everywhere. Not the parks fault but some people are just extremely inconsiderate.Theres a nice Trail for walking.

So much to do! 4 playgrounds, pool, skate pk, tennis, etc. Picnic tables and grills. Bike and walking paths. Lots of fun! Perfect for ALL ages!!

Great soccer fields and playgrounds

Full gym for a great workout. They also offer classes such as yoga. All is a VERY minimal cost. Clean and well kept. The park offers every mind of sport your kids might wanna play a long side walk from 51st to 59th. Lots of open ground for family fun!

Been coming here since i was a teen, love seeing it progress from then till now. The family always loves a good day at the Bray!!!!

This is probably the best place to take your kids to parks are nice. The staff is friendly the swimming pool is nice. Pretty much a great place that has everything that you need you can play baseball soccer they even have a skateboarding place.. it also has nice walking trails and it dog park. Its also good place to have a birthday party or some kind of Celebration. Ive done several parties are myself since Im a professional DJ. Im the owner of the hopper Express DJ Services.

Great place to walk and swim

Great place if only they would care for the ballfields better. Left side of home base (batting pisition) has been dug out 4 inches for months now. The other thing is parking lot lighting is non existent. Otherwise the place is great. Beautiful area.

Very friendly. Went for sandbags for protecting our home. They were very organised and got the job done quickly this year all I had to do was open the back of the SUV. Good job manatee County!!

They do a pretty good job taking care of this place. Has not changed much since I used to visit as a kid.

We rented the gt bray splash pool for a 6 year olds birthday party. Everyone had an excellent time. Facilities were great.

This park has come a long way! I hadnt been in about 10yrs but went to the park near the dog park to take my 2yo to play. We ended up going thru the back trails as well and the improvements made to the entire park is remarkable! Beautiful green grass and lots of trees. Landscape is now well maintained with many little spots to sit and eat on a picnic table, walk your dogs, or play on swings and just enjoy the scenery. Will be going every week now!

Wish they would have room for floor exercise - the one place they have is always taken with classes and then folks have to use mats in half the hallway. Also the equipment is extremely limited in number of machines of the same type (ex only one recumbent step machine and only one leg press machine) - place is extremely busy and since they dont limit access (generally a good thing). Overall I would say this is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. Its government run - likely on a shoestring but the actual government workers have access to an upscale fitness center downtown thats closer to what I was seeking but not open to the public

Dog poop and trash all over disc golf course.....maybe you should remove the dirt walking trail that goes through the middle of the course and put up more signs stating its a disc golf course and to be aware of flying objects.......playing many courses in the area this is by far the dirtiest unkept course which is sad because this course has a nice layout......If you play here pick up your trash if you walk your dogs here pick up your poop or stay in the dog park......COURTESY!!! goes along way

I was at a gym before this, but an employee was so rude and disrespectful to the point where I cancelled my membership and move my business back here. This place has a lot to offer for a low price and everyone is friendly.

Nice facility, plenty of parking. Well kept pool. A bit far for residents of east county.

Great place! Theres so many activities you can do. They open early in the morning and close later at night. The park is great for exercising and walking dogs.

I love bringing my kids here (Hubby has a work softball team) lots of things to do. Play ground, skating park, tennis courts . Just wish the bathrooms was cleaner and a place to get refreshments.

There is something to do for the whole family here! Bring your bikes, skateboards, tennis, baseball, soccer, footballs, or take a stroll, walk, jog or run around the outdoor facility. The indoor gym is small, but full of a piece of every piece of equipment to assist you while you work you toward your body goals. There is a large outdoor pool with a lifeguard. In addition, there are classes for adults and youth sports. Im very impressed with this place! To top it all off, this place is nestled in a beautiful park-like setting!

Family oriented. Well maintained

Wonderful place to take your pups so they can run and be safe around other pups. Your dog almost becomes apart of a community and is invited in to play almost immediately. Ive played softball here with some friends and also tennis. Great invironment for all activities.

The Bray is a fabulous place. We are fortunate to have this facility in our area. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The instructors are very well qualified and ensure that all class participants understand the program, no matter what an individuals abilities may be. Love the group classes there and have met some wonderful people.

Perfect for a number of activities from tennis to the weight room. I use the pool and path around the park for running almost weekly. They seem to offer a lot for kids as well. The number of options of things to do is very large.

There arent many sports complexes in the heart of town, you normally drive to the outskirts. This is what makes GT Bray unique. Its vast, multi sports, walking, biking, with a skate park and fitness center. GT Bray has everything to get you, your kids and your dog fit and ready for anything!

I like this park for my family. But..... dress code inside of the gym should be enforced. Two underage girls today wearing sports bras that revealed almost everything isnt a very good look for manatee county.

This park has everything!! From a skate park to racquetball courts to soccer fields, football fields, baseball too. It also has a very nice dog park as well as a frisbee golf course. Pavilions all over the place!! It also has plenty of trees and several places to just spread out and have a picnic or whatever you want. They also have a gym, a pool and much much more!!!

Lots of things to do

We decided to check out the gym on a Saturday because the gym we normally visited was going to be closing soon. Getting into the complex was easy enough and when we got into the gym itself theres plenty of equipment but a little tight on Space to work out with any sort of barbell movement. They have a full gym as well as an entire basketball court when multiple hoops inside. Outside theres a small workout area for calisthenics and other CrossFit style workouts as well as an entire pool and several tennis courts and pickleball courts. The location is clean and very quaint with old and young people alike playing and participating in physical activities outside. Its a fun place to check out and go to or whatever your reason for being here is.

Expansive, well appointed County facility that something for everyone. We joined the tennis program and it costs less than half than that of private clubs (and the courts are in great shape). The gym is huge, bathrooms clean, etc. Highly recommended!

I love going to GT Bray. There are so many play areas and I love the walking trails. This park is a great asset to our community! They are always putting on great events too.

Good place to walk

I am a avid tennis player and play every day. GT Bray has 8 clay courts that are maintained at the level that you only see at country clubs and the cost is very affordable. This all nice but what I like best is the facilities are well used and you can get a match very easy.

It was going fine until a small mutt attacked my even smaller Min Pin and bit her on the head. Am the owner had to say was sorry and quickly left. Luckily only a small cut on her head.

We use to LOVE this park for our walking and playing dogs and lately only BIG BIG aggressive dogs are in the park and they have NO fenced area for small dogs to run free as the BIG dogs just jump the fence and attack the little ones. We saw no one attending them so we think someone is just putting their dogs up there and leaving??? Also, the fence between the little pen and big one is short and the big dogs jump it so no real place for little ones to go. The few times we have been to the park the leash is not on any of the dogs that are walking in the park area, so now you have ..no dogs leashed and no dogs fenced so, where does anyone take a small dog to walk or let them play in the park? I would suggest you get someone (preferable that knows how to correct this) go to the park and check it out to have this corrected. Thank you

Gorgeous park with tons of exciting things to see and do. Perfect for hiking, running, frisbee, horseshoes, parties, yoga, and so much more! There is also a recreation building with a pool and playground! Lots of trees.. All of it is just absolutely beautiful!

Good but some places are not that clean

Decent place to go for a walk. The have a dog park and ball fields. They also have a pool and tennis. If any of these things are your thing, head on over. The hours of the park make no sense but its otherwise a good place.

Spend our time mainly at the dog park, which is nice. Walking path is great. Childrens playground appears to be well maintained.

Its an over all nice and large park with playgrounds football and baseball field and even a dog park. It also has a skatepark which in definitely in need of repairs for safety purposes.

Get the kids out go have some fun stop sitting on the couch watching TV this is the best place its free its not going to kill your wallet and then you get to see other people that need to be active as well dont worry theres fat people out there youll fit right in dont worry GT Bray is the park to play

Played disc golf here and had a great time. Holes are not clearly mapped out and park staff no help in hole placement. It is an adventure in itself to figure out game, but fun all the same.
