I grew up up here, spent my childhood running around this place. I literally hadnt been back for 25 years until now. I didnt recognize it......now there are restaurants and breweries. The place was still fun and relaxing, a great spot for the kids.

Fun and fairly uncrowded on a late midweek afternoon. Nice family vibe. Clean and well maintained. Paddle boarding and a kayaker in addition to swimming and beach play.

Great park with a great lake to fish in. I would highly recommend for kids and adults. Family friendly with lots to do. Five out of five stars.

Ive been bringing my children here for 15 years and its a good place for a fun water area. Its usually pretty busy, so unless you happen to come on a slow day, be prepared to claim a relatively small space in the sand (There are several covered picnic tables, and BBQ areas, but they are also almost always claimed.)The beach area is okay. Theres usually some garbage, but its mostly clean. Youre not supposed to bring dogs, but theres usually someone who doesnt think the rules apply to them and bring their dogs anyways.There are porta potties and outdoor restrooms. Nothing fancy, but theyll do the job. Theres also a dock to jump off, a little fishing dock, occasional ducks and I believe theres a volleyball court, so theres quite a few things here other than water and sand.Theres also the occasional drinking, smoking, swearing group of teens/young adults, so just be prepared for that possibility. Its usually not bad, but Ive definitely witnessed a fair amount of rambunctious behaviorover the years.Still, my little ones enjoy playing in the sand, splashing in the water and watching the occasional train and plane pass close by while they play. For a small mountain town, its a good Beach area.

Its probably the busiest place to swim actually in Bozeman, with a beach, a dock, and fishing dock, it makes for a lot of places to a lot of people. It also has access to a beach volleyball area.

In town, lots of space, great sandy beach, lots of parking and volleyball courts.

First time weve ever been there went to support Special Olympics they had the polar plunge there had a blast

It is a good family friendly park with a cold pond. Popular for paddle boarding and other water float devices. Only pavilion they have is small so bring your own shade. Lots of lawn area to spread out. It is supposed to be a tobacco free park but with noone on duty to enforce that, people will do whatever they want regardless of the signs. There are no public restrooms

Great place for a family walk !

The only real negative I will say about this spot is that the bathrooms were closed so there is no place to change clothes for swimming. I believe thy had porta potties set up but there were no signs to tell people where to go to find them which is difficult with small children in tow. Other then that this is a lovely park with walking trails and a great beach with picnic tables under shelter. Just need to fix that bathroom facilities.

Good place for kids. Nice beach with very little grade. Lots of sand to dig in. Free access to the public. Non-motorized watercraft only.

Would have been nice to know that the road was torn up ... we parked at the brewery instead, though still enjoyed our pre st pattys day hike

Always a great place to just hang out. Swimming semi enclosures for bbq and sand volleyball. We spend the majority of our summer here.

Run, swim...sit and contemplate the meaning of the universe (spoiler alert...its Jesus).. This is a great place to take your kids to explore and spend some quality time

Perfect place to enjoy an afternoon in the sun. A few tables to have a picnic, enough room on the sand for everyone, even some good nooks to throw in a fishing pole.

Beautiful property, convenient location, a variety of amenities and activities possible. The bathrooms, water fountain, and covered pavilion make outdoor gatherings very convenient. Occasionally some riffraff loiters, but generally quite safe and family friendly.

It was a pleasure helping the rotary with cleanup! I hope people can enjoy this beautiful area as much as I do

Good flat trail w loops so you do you can extend or shorten the walk.

Several possibilities here: Splash around, lie on the sand, canoe in the small lake, picnic, some shelters & one open pavilion. Plenty of grass. Room for groups. Not much tree cover.

Beautiful place to spend a lazy sunny day

I was here from 4pm to 6pm for an impulsive fishing attempt. Its clean and pleasant. Only 2 other people were here at the time. It was rather chilly and overcast. Fish were jumping but I think to get away from my lines. No matter, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable visit to this very special pond ; a quick access to close by nature right on the edge of town. My only regret is not finding out about it sooner!

Excellent adventure for kids of all ages. Trails lead not only your feet, but your imagination as well. My niece and nephew, call it the Dandelion Amozon Jumgle...

Great local place for recreational paddling, and swimming.

Great place to go swimming in the lake on hot days. They have many walking and bike trails. They also have public restrooms and a rock climbing wall.

Nice beach area, nice picnic areas, people are generally respectful and nice. We go here often during the summer.

When people referred to Bozeman Beach I laughed, but great recreation area. Canoeing, kayak, fish, picnic, bbq, swimming, volleyball, bicycling, jogging!
