Beautiful clothes and jewelry at reasonable prices.
Beautiful art and handmade goods from local artists with an amazing amount of variety. There is seriously so much to see in this store. Also beautiful clothes - the kind of things that can be hard to find elswhere in Montana. If youre looking for something for an event or special occasion this is the place to find it.
Ive lived in Bozeman for 6.5 years and everyone in this town is so warm and welcoming, except the staff at Cello. Ive been in on NUMEROUS trips and they dont even acknowledge you coming into the store. I mean nothing. No words, not how are you today, not may I help you? Most recently in December of 2018 my friend and walked in and the lady behind the counter just looked at us. I smiled at her and she smiled back, but that was it. Never spoke to us. Finally, another gentleman entered and she jumped up and said hello, how youre doing today, is there anything I can help you with? With that my friend and I put down our merchandise and walked out. Weve not been back in. My friend has been in there on several occasions and has said the same thing, they never greet her.Trust me, there are much greater business owners all down Main Street who are warm and hospitable and actually want your business.
Great place art, clothes, not just a gallery Nelda has made it a little bit of everything store.
I was looking forward to writing a glowing review for Cello. The gallery/boutique in downtown Bozeman offers a nice selection of art, clothing, jewelry, etc. My family and I made multiple visits to Cello during our weeks stay in Bozeman and purchased about $640 of goods (pottery, earrings, necklace, jewelry bag, backpack, art prints, and a top but not including the item in question). All was good until I returned a top which I found did not fit when I tried it on after returning home to Arizona. I asked for a credit to my credit card account since I would not be returning to Bozeman. Numerous communications with Nelda Zilis ensued starting with insinuations/accusations that I was lying about the condition of the top. She claimed that the return was not acceptable as it had been worn and the tags were tampered with. I responded that I did try on the item, but did not wear it, and certainly did not remove and reattach the tags. The wrinkling of the fabric likely occurred during travel as the item does not lay flat and wrinkling did not shake out. I also said I would swear in a court of law and or in a legal document to this effect. She persisted in saying that my statements were false. I was shocked and appalled that my word and integrity were being questioned. I too have a business and would never treat my customers in this way. Good customer relations are critical to a business, not only when they are buying but also on merchandise returns. Neldas last communication offered me a store credit and free shipping on an alternate item. I declined the offer as in the same communication she stated that her accusation that the item had been tampered and worn stands. To me, this is a matter of principle... I refuse to do business with a business who blatantly accuses me of lying. Yes, I am out the cost of the item, $135 but will forewarn their future customers through social media. SO BE FOREWARNED WHEN DEALING WITH CELLO ON RETURNS. They have a store credit only policy and you basically have to bear the abuse of false accusations for the policy to be altered in any way.7/27/19 The saga continues. Although I had been very specific that I did not want the top with their conditions, Cello returned the item to me by mail. Rather than refusing the delivery I am donating the item to charity. The old saying the customer is always right, is the opposite here, unbelievable.
Beautifully curated selection of fashion and art.
It is expensive but the items are very high quality. Most of it is locally made. Lots of jewelry and womens clothing.
