It needs work. The area is a good place to swim because its pretty deep. The fish observatory is not safe due to being an outhouse for many.
You cant see through the windows very well at all. The area is dirty, had glass on the ground. Was hard to find, and you wouldnt know it was there unless you looked it up before. Not worth going.
Pretty river but the observation windows are totally clouded over. I was so sad!
Dont come here to see under the water, but its a sweet swimming hole
I saw a fish, however the observatory itself reflected societys tendency to neglect the current state of our climate and ecosystem in the Boulder county area. The jumping hole was quite enjoyable though.
Cant see through the observing windows. Constantly flooded.
Nice little meet up spot!
Nice place, a little slippery in winter so watch out.
This could use some regular maintenance. The windows are not clear anymore and the wall is in sight disrepair. It is a good swimming hole, though.
Nothing to really see! Glass is too dirty to see anything.
Boulder creek path....woo-hoo!
Water levels are too low at this time of year.
Do you love looking at dirty windows? Is your ideal day spent observing algae grow on the back side of glass? Do you thrive with disappointment? Then this is the place for you.
The hotel does not maintain it :(. It would have been a nice place to see fish if it didnt: A) Have an inch of mud and trash on the floor, B) Have water leaking through the wall, and C) Have algae and gunk on the windows making it impossible to see through. Sad. :(
Nice work
Nice place, windows need to be cleaned though.
Algae has taken over the glass. You cant see a thing.
Gross, dirty, unsafe
Owned by Boulder, Colorado not taken care of.
Graffiti and dirty windows. Filled with mud on the viewing side.
Used to be cool, now just a stinky mud pit
A fun place to do flip into the river
Cool
Sadly, was not well maintained.
We were excited to see this, and it was hugely disappointing that it was filthy, not maintained, and the windows were so full of green and red growth that we couldnt see through them.
