Sawhill ponds is one of the most picturesque and pleasant walks. You have choices to do a big loop or smaller Loop and the bird life is plentiful. You will see a lot of birdwatchers. Ive seen a great horned owl flying with a snake dangling from its talons. Ive seen herons a variety of hawks and ducks. Its one pawned after another. Dogs must be on leash.

This is an awesome trail with many side trails for exploring and bird watching!

I came here for a run around 8:30AM and the parking lot was almost full - theres not a lot of parking spots though. Theres a map at the beginning of the trail, but it gets a bit confusing afterward. Its a really pretty area, and the trail is mostly a dirt path, some parts are shaded. Flat for a run which is great though!

Beautiful open space with wide variety of birds, well maintained, and easy access. There are signs posted to maintain social distancing and Boulder county requires all persons over 12 that do not have a medical condition, to wear face coverings. Be prepared for some people to disregard both of these.

Gorgeous spot, day through sunset, fishing, bird watching....Mountain views.

Great place for going for a walk. Always has great bird watching, also have seen turtles, deer, fish, deer, great place to view wildlife. Usually very few people there, never crowded.

Its a lovely area nd super kid friendly, my son goes on field trips to this park all the time. A lot of animals to look at and the walk is very easy todo

Great bass fishing. Water was a little low last summer (2016) bit should be good this year. Super clear water. Huge LMB if you can get them to bite.

Nice flat hike

This place is disappointing. Every time we go there, there is less and less aquatic life. Im not blaming, and I realize it is drought conditions at work, but its really lost its appeal.

If you like to fish for Carp, then you need to come to this place. Sawhill Ponds is beautiful! There are a bunch of different ponds at this place.
