Beautiful shady trail with multiple creek crossing using natural boulder stepping stones. Great for dogs as plenty of water access. Narrow well travelled trail but places to step off and let others by. Majority of hikers wearing masks. Well worth the hike.

A+, lots of shade and places for my 2 year old to pull off and put her feet in the water. Huge shout out to all the hikers this morning (age 7 and up) everyone had a mask while they passed each other. The trail is narrow and social distancing is not possible

This is a pleasant, kid and dog-on-leash friendly hike up a narrow creek drainage. Well manicured trail. The parking lot has been enlarged since the Great Flood, but judging by the signs warning against parking on the road, it gets extremely crowded at busy times.

Open open open and beautiful again! Thank you Boulder County Parks and Open Space. 28 parking spots (!). Dogs are OK. As of today, 26 Dec 2019, I highly recommend traction for the (very very short but) icy hills.

Weve hiked here twice now and the trail is beautiful. The trail is narrow so in our current COVID environment there was a decent amount of mask on / mask off as you pass by others. With 3 little kids we havent hiked the whole thing but just go for a bit and turn around. The most recent time (July) the creek wasnt running so the kids were a little sad as earlier in year they had more fun with all the cross overs. Even without the running creek, the hike is still beautiful, predominantly shaded and enjoyable. We have even seen deer and marmots pretty close by!

This Trail has become my new favorite Boulder hike. I love that the little creek follows you all the way up and back

Great trail. Good for dogs because of how much shade and running Creek water is available. Lot fills up fast.

A super nice and easy trail. About 3.5 miles with less than 500ft of elevation. The end isnt anything great but the whole things winds a little stream that is beautiful. Kids would be able to do this.

Great trail for the kids. A little more than 3 miles, and the whole hike crosses back and forth over the creek, so keeps things interesting.

Incredible trail that follows a large stream. Only negative is it gets a bit crowded, like all Boulder trails do.
