15th Street Gallery is a real gem! My husband and I first worked with them when we took them a special fine art piece for framing. The owners Rob and Steve provided expert service, advice and were generous with their time. The framing was top-notch, museum-quality work. Once we discovered 15th Street, though, it was the gallery side of their business that we fell in love with. We started attending their various contemporary art exhibitions and artist receptions and have purchased additional artwork from them. Rob and Steve have a solid knowledge of contemporary art and know the art community well. Lastly, I have recently worked with Rob and Steve as an exhibiting artist. They were incredible to work with: thoughtful, kind and generous. I really cant recommend them more!

Ive had nothing but the best experiences at 15th street gallery. The owners Rob and Steve have a great design eye, and have always been easy to work with. They are great at taking your ideas and using their expertise to bring those to life. It is always a treat to stop in and see what is hanging in the gallery space, from a array of amazing artists. I have a RC Gorman piece that was in a dated pastel thirty year old frame that I wanted to give a new lease on life. After passing by this gallery many times I thought it would be nice to have a smaller locally owned shop reframe it for me. To be safe in the time of social distancing I made an appointment with them and brought it in. The two guys were so friendly and accommodating, they set aside an a whole hour for us. They disassembled the old frame and offered several framing options and styles. Together we picked the perfect shade of white for the mat and a beautiful gallery style frame. I was so excited to see it and when it was ready to pick up they presented it beautifully! I couldnt be happier with how it came out. In addition to custom framing they have a beautiful gallery space in which they curate different artists work. Ill definitely be back and Id highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality frame shop.

I had a great experience attending one of the gallery’s most recent showings. The gallery itself was set up beautifully, with plenty of tasty snacks and beverages. The owners and employees were all very excited to engage in conversation and tell me all about the artwork that was being shown that night. Everyone working there had a great attitude and were very knowledgeable about the art work there.I would highly recommend attending one of their events for anyone interested in learning more about art in the boulder area.

The guys at 15th Street Gallery did a phenomenal job framing some really important artwork for my wife and me. This included two very large scarves, which are super fragile and tricky to work with and a number of quirky posters and paintings. Each piece came out perfectly and the process was exceptional. They have a great sense of design, but unlike many designers I’ve worked with, they didn’t aggressively promote their opinions, but instead worked to guide us and refine our ideas. We wouldn’t go anywhere else now for support with framing and art!!

Can’t say enough about 15th Street Gallery. Steve and Rob are the best, and their kindness and professionalism is reflected in their entire staff. If you are there for framing, they will work with you to find exactly the right frame/mat combination to compliment your artwork, taking great care of whatever you bring in, and the final product is fantastic. On the gallery side, they actually know about the artists they display. They don’t just appreciate the art, but they appreciate the artist, and they believe in what they put on their walls. Going there is like visiting a friend’s house, assuming your friend knows a lot about art, but isn’t all uppity about it.

Highly impressed across the board. The attitude and culture of this business- A+. I was looking to get some quality framing done while not spending a fortune. Rob and Steve were totally open, accommodating, and friendly. They worked with me without a hint of annoyance until we found options within my budget- and all without making any stylistic compromises. I felt no pressure, was assured by their beautiful work on display, and even had some fun! A cool place that at the very least is worth checking out. I will definitely be back.

I can’t say enough about the guys at the 15th Street Gallery, about their warmth of spirt and genuine appreciation for the human stories that always surround art. I came into the gallery with an unusual request. I had an original, framed lithograph by a famous artist that had been stored for years in a (climate-controlled) warehouse. I’d gotten the work out of the storage vault, and some of the glass had broken. I needed somebody competent to get the piece out of the frame and help me figure out how to ship it its rightful owner — my sister in Paris. The care for the work that the guys displayed was frankly astounding as was their interest in the story about the piece. With great care, they took apart the frame, carefully lifted the lithograph safely away from the glass shards, and advised me not to try to unmount it from its backing matte without the assistance of an art conservator. They also gave me sound advice on how to safely ship it to my sister in France. This was a service that deserved significant compensation, but when I asked how much I owned, the answer was nothing. It was one of those moments when dollars and cents fade and our shared humanity becomes primary. These moments don’t come around all that often. They are wonderful and memorable when they do and deserved to be mentioned.

Gallery manager Rob personally showed me around the exhibit and even sat down to answer some questions I had. Warm and inviting staff each with a great attitude. Cant wait to return!

Steve and Rob treated my project (and me personally) like royalty. Incredibly considerate of my multiple requests, detail oriented, timely, and a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend 15th Street Gallery highly enough. Top shelf work while providing white glove service.

I depend so much on the staff at 15th Street Gallery and Framing. They have been taking care of my framing needs for almost 30 years. They offer excellent advice on each each of my picture framing projects. They are creative and can solve problems in ways I cannot imagine. This is by far one of the best galleries in the state. Theres nothing pretentious about it. The guys really know their stuff and theyre very accessible. The show collections are never the same ole same ole. Theyre willing to take the risks most galleries wont. Very highly recommend it.

There are so few galleries in Boulder that havent been reduced to selling jewelry, teapots and matches-the-living-room-decor art to survive. 15th Street Gallery is a marvel. They do framing (beautifully), but that business is kept out of the way of their gorgeous showcase for the best in art. Right now, as I write, theyre displaying magical work by Hung Lui, a Chinese artist whose meticulous training glows through her exquisite and dream-like visions. Shes amazing -- gobsmacking! 15th Street has also given us other Amazings: Red Grooms, Betty Woodman, Robert Kushner...always classy. Great Art by Great Artists. I love going there. When I pop in to take a look, no one bothers me, no ones drooling down my neck. Im allowed to think and absorb. Im inevitably bowled over, then walk out wondering if Ill ever catch my breath again. We need more places like 15th Street Gallery, private galleries that exhibit the best artists nationally and internationally. This is an oasis for art lovers, run by people who truly and seriously know their art onions!

Many years ago this WAS the best place to take your art for framing. Ive had at least 4 or 5 orignal pieces done, paying a premium for archival framing, non-acid materials, etc. Recently I called them about one of those larger pieces they framed on which I noticed streaking on the inside of the class. The picture has never been in storage nor in direct sunlight. I called them and explained the problem and asked what might be causing it and could they repair it - they have never called me back!
