Great place to go for a nature walk. Today we saw Cranes and got to view airplanes coming in for a landing at nearby Logan Airpot. Great place for some peace and quiet (when no planes are around) and enjoy a picnic. Interesting little Gem. Make sure to bring bug spray when going in Spring and Summer.
Nice place to walk or run. It has a nice viewing tower on it as well. If you like to exercise this is a good place to do so. Not very crowded.
This places look glorious under the cover of snow. The trail is not that obvious but with snow on it it’s not really important. Still water is icy, so you can see lots of ice flow on the water. There is a bridge and a small viewing house you can go up. The view is amazing from top too. The snow is a little deep in some places so waterproof shoes sometimes is not enough. But most of time just don’t worry about snow and walk on it directly.
Nice relaxing place to go for a walk on the trail with the dogs or just for fun
Love this place to hear and see the birds. Especially the red winged black birds. Nice marsh area. Historical, to see what the land looked like way back before development. This is a great place for family walks. Also, there is a tower you can go and observe some views. I always go in the morning, and in the Spring. So, I have not encountered all the mosquitoes everyone talks about. Today was blustery and cold but nice to walk around.
Easy to get to. Hidden gem of sorts. Lots of vegetation and birds. Good signage. Nice place to walk, enjoy nature and take pictures. Please use plenty of bug spray. It did not take long for bugs to find me...use strong repellant. Use hat is sun is an issue. Great location in the city. I am a Boston resident and this is my first time here.
New board walkway is beautiful, and the views of the marsh are lovely.
Great place for a walk bike ride or even a place to take the dog
Nice place for a walk or picnic. Dont forget the insect repellent.
Good place to relax, and have some peace...
Gorgeous place, but a paradise for mosquitos.
Good place for a walk and picnic just be aware of mosquitos!
I love this park except in the summer
Bring bug spray. Tons of mosquitos.
This park is an open place in city in full of nature. There is open space and benches for small picnic. Big parking lots. Walking space for workout with full of nature with lots of birds singing around park....
Good place to have a fresh air
Wonderful place for a nice flat walk
Too many mosquitoes, the planes come in so low to land and take off, almost close enough to touch it looks like-WAY TOO LOUD AT TIMES! BUT the Boston skyline/view is AMAZING! July 4th Fireworks in 3 different communities can be seen from here, Breathtaking views. You can fish on the bridge, or if you have a boat in boatyard, fish from yard at high tide, its great fishing spot!
Lovely spot for a stroll along the water and bird watching.
Great walking area. Great for picnics as well. Dogs are welcome.
It was a wonderful place, I had a great time
It was a wonderful place, I had a great time
Vast open area. Great for bird watching, walking, biking, photographing a wide variety of wildlife. A great area to let kids run around & play outdoors in the safety of a Reservation. There are wild coyotes that roam the Reservation, so it would behoove you to keep a watchful eye out. There is a small parking area but, when I have gone theres been only about 3 cars. The best part...... its free!
Its lovely, you feel like your far from the hustle and bustle of the city, but at the same time you can see the Boston skyline across the way. Its great for walking, people take there dogs there too, trails are clean and well kept. Beautiful trees, plants and wildlife, Its so nice, if you havent been, you should def check it out.
Beautiful area, serene and well landscaped!
Beautiful walk for kids and dog. Fun to watch the planes overhead. Can have a lot of bugs, though.
I absolutely love this place. Its gorgeous, perfect place to walk your dog and great to get in touch with a nature. Theres clean, well kept trails and a wooden tower with an overlook of the marsh entire marsh. Also, planes fly over the marsh which is a nice touch and this is the ideal place to take some photos! Highly recommended if you have a dog! My dog loves this place.
Great place when my best part that I like to go to with my dog lot of open areas a lot of places where you can just hang out its a great place
Love this place. Family friendly. Interesting birds to watch. Exercise, run, walk. It’s beautiful all season and open all season!
Nice place to walk around, weekends are busiest but be aware there is a area in middle where people gather to let their dogs run around and play together and there has also been rare coyote sittings. The area is also riddled with mosquitos and ticks, I cant stress enough cover up and use plenty of bug spray, I pulled 3 ticks off my dog and one off my son.
Nice place to visit in summer
Beautiful park
Its a beautiful and serene spot to walk around. Watching the planes taking off, flying close overhead was so cool! It happens about every ten minutes, but it isnt too loud. It was a fun place and well be going there again.
Is amazing, green wild and beautiful..a great place to bike hike or just wander around stay cool.Go.
A little slice of heaven y in an otherwise urbanized area. A great park to bring your dog for a walk or relax under a tree on the grass. Views of the remaining marsh as well surround the park. The only downside, which some might think is a plus would be the the takeoff and landing of airplanes right above your head. :-)
Nice place to spent with and accommodating staffs.
A great place to go for a walk. Canines are welcome, but they ask that you keep them on a leash. There are pleanty of benches and a tower to climb up, and see the wetlands. Pleanty of birds and other wild life around too.
Nature near the city!Wonderful walking paths to see many different species of birds and other wildlife!
The Marsh Reservation is an absolute delight for walks with a view! Dont forget to bring your bug spray though and be wary of all the insects.
Great place, nice people.
Nice and clean park
A wonderful hidden gem. Great place for birders and walkers.
Belle Isle Marsh Reservation is a nice place to visit. Despite located close to the city, the place has undisturbed nature within. The foot trail is maintained nicely and the area has an appropriate cleanliness. Takeoff and landing of large aircrafts can be closely observed from here.
Nice to walk around however I would never do it at night. Love the look out tower!
No atmospherics and freezing!!Food is very good but prices are high. Been there a few times and counter help was not pleasant. Seemed annoyed to take our order. Not worth the trip for us.
Gorgeous meadow and salt marsh. Staff works hard to keep it clean. Dogs are allowed, but required to be on leashed AND CLEANED UP AFTER. guided nature walks per DCR on select Saturdays. State Police will write tickets for off leash dogs... $200
Great quiet area. Good walking or running trails
Just awesome great food and very kind people
The food is very good.
A fantastic place to visit
Very peaceful. Love the view
Peaceful park with beautiful scenery. Lots of people bring their dogs here. Even in the winter, the marsh is beautiful with the golden meadows and chunky ice. Will definitely come back in the summer to hopefully see more birds.
Neat reservation park, but have something against mosquitos and ticks with yourself.
Quiet, clean, so many birds and wild life. How can you not love this little East Boston/Revere gem?
Interesting combination. Airplanes overhead and snowy egrets in the marsh. It made for some great photo opportunities. Bring bug repellant!
Great place to hang out. Relaxing and beautiful scenery and wildlife.
Nice place to walk your dog but in the summer its infested with ticks and mosquitoes so its better in the cooler months
Around a half mile of trails its a nice place to come for a walk or to bring your dog. Its scenic throughout the year. I recommend one of the canoeing trips put on by friends of belle isle.
Pretty cool place to visit with good photo opportunities for us photographers. Can get very buggy in certain times of the season so be aware of that, it is a marsh...
Nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle. Very peaceful and with several picnic areas. Bring the insect repellent.
Nice walkway, very few people..mosquitos are the only big drawback.
Nice. But be aware of ticks.
Beautiful and great for walking but tons if bugs in the summer heat.
Beautiful and peaceful oasis
Not for the summer. Mosquitoes are giant like flies and they bit even with light repellent spray. Theres no shade anywhere.
Very quiet place.
This place is beautiful during the summer, and great to explore. I bring my younger sibling here sometimes to see the bridge and other structures
Love thag nature preserve.
Good fishing
Nice park. Lots of birds and views of the Marsh. Its what a lot of the area used to look like.
Great place to bring dogs and enjoy some green space in the city
Great park, just dont go when the mosquitos are out
Wet. Lots of bugs. But scenic
Very quiet place
Nice birding spot for shorebirds in the fall. Has an observation tower and a little boardwalk. Large level foot-paths through meadows and 5mins from Suffolk Downs T stop!
Saw lots of beautiful birds
Beautiful place to walk, or walk your dog. Wonderful views of the marsh and wildlife, such as snowy egrets.
A lovely place to go exploring. The funny part is even with its proximity to the airport, most of the time you wouldnt even know that the airport was less than a mile away the way the crow flies.
The girls are so nice
Nice short lap to walk the dog. Lots of dogs off leash. May be better when the tide is in and the wind is less strong.
Lovely place, excellent view
Beautiful, but SOOOOOO many mosquitoes! We had to leave after 10 min.
Very nice place for a walk, especially if u have a dog to walk.
My dog loves it here, always fur friends to play with! Only thing thats annoying is the sand burrs that get stuck to all the dogs. A pain but its nature I guess
Very pretty park with excellent paths for dogwalking. Accessible by T and also great off street parking.
Close to the city. Dog friendly. Beautiful wetlands.
Great place to visit.
Its the northern anchor of the Harborwalk trail and an outstanding open space asset.
Beautiful park. Lovely views.
Small and calm reservation
Nice landscapes, Blue Line trains passes by.
