So I got my mom in March tickets for her birthday. Due to COVID we have had to keep rescheduling the show. I swear they have been the most understanding and helpful group of people I have ever worked with. My mom and I have had issues with rescheduling and they have always accommodated us happily! I cannot wait to see the show and I know if the customer service is this fabulous the queens are gonna just blow us away!
Like many others, I was set for the Sunday Brunch but also got a Text message saying the show was going to be Canceled due to low ticket sales ( I feel this is a trend over the fall and winter months ) We ended up going to the Sat night show ( Me and my GF ) I paid a fair bit for tickets and a 3 course Dinner Im sorry. A tiny salad with a choice of a Small Pizza, Chicken tenders, Fish Tacos, Mac n Cheese, and something else, with a cookie and small scoop of ice cream a dinner does not make. Over all The area was crowded and tiny in the basement of a bar. with 2 Bacheloret party, 3 birthdays and all VERY drunk ladies it was loud and a bit outside where I would feel comfortable. ( however I will book end that with That is my personal issue and is not causing the 1 star down thats the meal ) If you do get the meal you will be sharing with others at a table and 2 people will be eating at the inside corners. Anyways the show it self was very entertaining. The hostess was the highlight of the show. Over all 3 performers, each do 2 solo numbers, then a Final go with all 3 out, none of which you see on the main website so keep that in mind. Anyways, It is an interactive show to say the least with the Hostess being the most interactive, I really feel she drove the show and could of done it solo she was just that out spoken ( do not let that take away from the other 2 though ) Over all we found it enjoyable, and I want to go again when Im not in as much pain as I was so maybe I can respond a little better when interacting. Also this is a Tipping show so bring cash with you ( these ladies deserve it )
DIVA ROYAL IS A RIP-OFF!!!!!!!My maid of honor bought these tickets for my bachelorette party and we’re constantly trying to get in touch with DIVA ROYAL in regards to table placement and the menu. We then had to call the restaurant itself and they stated that DIVA ROYAL was not even having an event anymore at this location and we would need to contact DIVA ROYAL for a refund. We then called DIVA ROYAL themselves not even 24 hours after purchasing tickets to their event that was canceled months ago not to our knowledge and were RUDELY told we will not be receiving a refund. NOT EVEN 24 hours later!!! THEY ARE STILL SELLING THESE TICKETS AND STEALING MONEY FROM PEOPLE AS WE SPEAK!!!!! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT GIVE IT TO THIS RUDE COMPANY!!! I promise you it’s not worth it!!!!!!!!!
This show was absolutely amazing.Of course, this is the first time to see a drag queen show. So I was very skeptic about, what to expect. But quite honestly, its no different then any other amazing shows out there. It has its own twist on putting a smile on your face, making sure you are enjoying yourself and the show was beyond amazing. They are here to entertain you, and that, they did.
BOSTON MA SHOW 2/15/20: Sorry but IMHO its too bad we cant give this show a negative star rating. Im from NY and have attended dozens of awesome drag shows in Boston, Ptown, Miami & NYC so trust me when I suggest you save your hard earned dollars for a drag show worthy of your time & money This show lacks the focus & pageantry of a real drag show Sorry Divas - maybe its time for a show make-over
I did not know what to expect, so I read a few of the reviews. Dinner was not bad, the performances were good and they have lots of audience participation. We placed bingo, I laughed so hard until I almost busted a gut. We had a group of 8 with reservations. It was my girlfriends birthday and this is where she wanted to come. The drinks, yes, very much on point. I say come check out the review and see for yourself.
Before I wrote this review I called and left a message for a manager to call me back, no response. ..so two days later I called again and got a man on the phone who was very argumentative and didnt want to listen to me and talk over me, so here I am. On October 26th myself and a group of 8 of us attended the Drag Show at the Good Life Bar in Boston. I want to start off my saying the show was amazing and the Queens were a lot of fun. On there website when you purchase VIP tickets it clearly states you get the first 5 rows (first come first basis) we were in a basement of a Bar all sitting in a circle right next to one another. NO ROWS. So anyone who paid general admission got the same view as you but you pay $20 more. Also the man on the phone said general admission always has to stand, but if you look on there site it states they get the second half of the room nothing about standing. (Something to keep in mind when buying tickets). My next issue was we paid $50 to bring your diva on stage there was no stage besides a concrete floor and everyone who was celebrating that night was brought on stage too. Another waste of money. So if you decide to attend one of there shows I HIGHLY suggest just buying general admission and dont worry about the hot seat since they bring anyone on stage as long as it looks like your celebrating something. So all togeather we wasted $230. The website is completely deceiving and dirty.ALSO the man I just got off the phone with when I told him we paid over $500 for tickets he said well its not anything glamorous so I shouldnt have expected that. For $500 i excepted something a little better than a basement. Never again.
Went with a male friend who was literally the ONLY guy there to watch. He didnt care. We both had been wanting to go to a drag show for a long time. First off, we went to the Boston performance which was held in the downstairs bar area of the Good Life Restaurant. Originally we were scheduled to do the Sunday brunch but got a text message a few days before that they were not holding the brunch because they didnt sell enough tickets and we were asked if we wanted to go to the Saturday evening dinner show instead. Luckily neither of us had plans for Saturday night so we were able to do that. I had gone online and read mostly decent reviews. We are both very excited. We are both middle-aged and when the place started to fill up we realized we probably were some of the oldest people there. There were four or five different Bridal parties, all young women. As far as the food went, we were given a paper with four or five items to choose from, all being typical bar type food. Pizza, chicken tenders, fish tacos, or mac and cheese. We both chose the chicken tenders and it came with a very small salad. The food was okay but nothing impressive. The atmosphere definitely was very very loud due to all the young ladies. Most of them had had many drinks, some of them getting spilled all over the floor. The performers were great. It certainly was not what we had expected. I definitely think that at our age we probably would have enjoyed the brunch much better. We assume that may have been a more low-key, tame or quiet performance. Haha.
Purchased 8 VIP tickets and a hotseat for the bride to be. We arrived before it opened but were told they couldnt accomodate our group to sit all together. Took the waitress about 40 minutes to come get our orders. The menu consisted of 6 things none of which went together or sounded good. Took the waitress another half hour to bring some of the drinks and another half for the rest of the drinks. We were never served dinner and I ordered some chicken wings that I paid $10 for and they came about 20 mins before the show ended. 5 wings that were crunchy and tasted like they had been fried in used oil. At one point I was approached about the hot seat and was told it would happen towards the end of the show but it never did. This place is horrible and the waitstaff is just as bad and clearly have no customer service training. The only good thing I will say is that the performers did a good job. This is money and t the me down the drain.
AMAZING SHOW!I laughed non stop. Beautiful ladies and wonderful music. So fun! Recommend it to everyone I know thats going to a show!
First the original location was double booked so we ended up going somewhere else, which would be fine except the place obviously was not set up for that type of performance. From what we could see the costumes were great and the crowds cheers made it seem like it was a good show. However our $75 VIP seats were AWFUL we would of had better seats paying for the cheapest tickets. And according to the website and phone calls asking about group seating and reservations they dont do reservations or groups however they keep groups together and seat first come first serve. So we get there early and end up being the first ones there yet were told the table where we would of been able to see was reserved already. Literally couldnt see like 90% of the show so we basically paid that much for food and hearing other people enjoy the show. Extremely disappointed in the lack of how everything was handled and how they say one thing yet do another thing. Waste of money I had a MUCH better time at a free amateur drag show in Manchester NH.
I had such a phenomenal time at this drag queen Dinner Show in Boston. I have seen many drag performances before but none that can even stand next to this. Celebrity impersonations, amazing costumes and gowns that Ive never even imagined possible on top of that the performance themselves were absolutely stunning. All in all made for the absolute best drag queen show I have ever seen
Theres no way you cant like a night out here at this drag cabaret dinner theater. Came here with a large group for a birthday party and the staff did a great job with service. These queens are sassy, funny, do great impersonations and are very talented. Youll have a great laugh. We had a great time.
We love our 1st experience at Diva Royale, specially when we were given our 10 minutes of fame when we said we had 26 years together it really feel good to be appreciate it by the MC on stage my husband loved the attention. Definitely would come back for more.

This was the worst experience I have ever endured. I am trying to take recovery steps for the $58 I spent. The organizer assured there would be refunds, so my friend and I finally left to get dinner elsewhere. However this was a lie, as customer service is now not issuing a refund and is stating that the employee is not authorized to promise refunds. I am not sure if every night it a chaotic disaster but the night we attended the show didn’t start and no one could provide any information or updates. Extremely unprofessional. There was also many empty seats but no standing area, no stage, and no performance area. I’m not sure where they were planning to host a performance. The venue (The Point) had an upstairs that was closed. An irate bachelorette party of 18 was taking up much of the organizer’s attention that night but I doubt it would pan out any evening at that location.
These guys were great! Even the men in the audience were getting into it. We sat right by the stage, great seats. They each played two people, so it lasted about 1 1/2 - 2 hrs. Worth the money.
These Drag Queens performances were absolutely spectacular! The costumes, makeup and hair breathtaking! The best Boston drag queen show Ive seen yet and the best celebrity impersonations Ive seen anywhere.
We made plans for the Broadway Brunch for our friends bachelorette party, based on recommendations from another friend. Ive been to drag shows at clubs and once for a dinner show, so I had an idea of what to expect. What I wasnt expecting was for the food to be good; I figured we pay for the show moreso than the quality of food. It was a pleasant surprise. I had the salmon eggs benedict (called the Sister Act on the menu), and our entire group opted for bottomless mimosas for only $6 extra. The mimosas are delicious and someone came by impressively fast to make sure the pitcher stayed full. For $10 you can order a shot that comes in a novelty shotglass shaped like lips. Theyre for taking home !The decoration is really fun without being trashy. Chandeliers hang from the walls, and lots of the decoration makes it feel Alice in Wonderland themed. The show is tons of fun and the girls are so talented and pretty. For $15, we paid to have our bride to be go on stage, take a shot, and get a picture with Ginger Snap in an Annie costume. She was given a tiara to wear the entire time, and got to take that home in addition to the light up shot glass her drink came in, and a printed photo with a nice frame.
Best drag queen show ever! So much singing and dancing! Their costumes were so exquisite! I would definitely come back again :)
Had to see this Drag show in Boston after finding out they had a show here. I have been to Diva Royale shows in both NYC and New Orleans while on vacation and both time the Drag performers were amazing. If you want to see a fabulous Drag Queen show and you here the name Diva Royale in your city just know your in for a treat!
What an amazing drag queen show, you cannot visit Boston without seeing this show! Was visiting Boston and was looking for something to do with my mom and sisters and found out that they had a Drag Queens Dinner Show near where we were staying. We decided to purchase tickets and dinner. My mom had never seen a drag queen show before when I was reading the website I saw they did celebrity impersonations and thought this is going to be really cool. My mom and sisters absolutely loved the show and I myself couldn’t of been happier. I’ve seen a lot of drag shows before so for me to be so impressed, they had to really do a great job.
Celebrated my cousins bachelorette party at this drag queen Dinner Show which was absolutely a wonderful idea. Not only was the drag show one of the best performances Ive ever seen the staff was so nice and so attentive to make sure that we had a spectacular time they kept on checking on us and from the time we walked in the doors all the time we left they really did make the bride feel special. I loved everything about this show, from the food to the venue and of course the performers. I think Im going to celebrate my birthday party here this year.
So much fun..grear little night out
I decided tag along with my friends on a Drag Queen adventure in Boston last weekend and I’m really glad that I did. My friends were going to this Drag Queen Dinner Show and I decided since my plans fell through to join and I was in need of the non stop laughing that occurred at this show! The drag queen performances were absolutely outstanding and I was really floored by the performances. The host was hysterical and we left from the time the show started until the time the show finished.
This review is for the Boston show on 4/14/18.THIS IS NOT THE WORLDS BEST CELEBRITY AND FEMALE IMPERSONATORS.The goods: The music and songs they chose were high energy, the service at the venue (Club Cafe) was excellent, and venue and stage itself looked professional. Despite the website saying the $25 general admission tickets were in the back, we actually got a table pretty close to the front. The not-so-goods: The venue was changed for some unknown reason on the day of the show (from Venu nightclub to Club Cafe). The girls were high energy and were trying, but most did not know a lot of the words to the songs. The costumes were nice, but not everyone was tucked, and it there were long gaps during changes. The bads: The website says the Worlds Best Celebrity and Female Impersonators and shows 5 performers. There were NO celebrity impersonators, and only 3 performers (none of whom are pictured on the website.) Besides the venue change, the event was very unorganized. The text said to get there for 7 to be seated because the show would start promptly at 7:30 - it started late. There were several moments where the music was not queued up properly, at one point one of the MCs announced were having technical difficulties. The intermission between sets was long and the during the down moments - whether during intermission or just waiting for the next performance, the MCs really struggled to entertain and fill the time.Overall - the music was fun to listen to, and the space at Club Cafe was nice - the staff very accommodating and friendly. But the show itself was a bit of a train wreck. Its bad enough youve misrepresented what the show is supposed to be. At the very least can we get the music to queue properly, MCs who can entertain and fill time and performers who actually know the words to the songs?
