Visited for the 1st time on 2/5/20 for a screening of Birds of Prey. Staff is friendly, very helpful, & professional... gave me a verbal tour & welcomed me to see the entire venue before settling into my event. Theater so new that it smells like a brand new car! The vibe inside feels very luxury & classy, lighting is dim but mood perfect for relaxing. Will definitely visit again & again as Im a huge movie fan. Welcome to Boston, ArcLight Cinemas - happy to have you in my hometown!
Thrilling movie theater experience! Brand new movie theater with in house dining and full bar experience. The staff is super professional but also sincerely friendly and helpful. Pristine theaters, comfortable seating, good quality sound. The decor is amazing. Great place to have a nice date and spend some time before and after the movie. Picture quality is good.
Love this new cinema - it’s a wonderful place to see movies- great big screens, sound quality and oh those amazing reclining seats and wide space!! The staff are kind, warm and welcoming- there’s a change. It’s all so clean Go soon and enjoy! Great addition to the neighbour hood and so much needed. We will be back many times.Thank you all
This new theater is a good addition to Bostons movie scene. The lobby bar has a pleasant view of the street, & its in a lively neighborhood, adjacent to the Celtics & Bruins arena & on 2 subway lines. The prices are too high & several of the snack options a good deal too precious.Try to overlook the pomposity & just enjoy your flick.
The screens, audio, and theater interiors were fine. The entire experience leading up to watching the movie could use a lot of improvement. Start with signage; if you take the T to the theater, there is no indication where the theater is once you get to North Station. Once in the theater, you encounter a broken escalator. The cool movie poster wall and Sith stormtrooper figure make it better, but not when a staff member decides to chastise you for taking a photo rather than buying your ticket at the kiosk (I had pre-purchased our tickets on Fandango.) We go up to the theater level, only to have to head back downstairs again because the concession stand on the top floor isnt open yet. You are required to use a kiosk to order your food (and unlike the Seaport ICON no one is around to assist) so you cant make simple requests like no ice or ask any questions. The options were just plain silly. The only diet soda option was Coke; give me my Sprite Zero or give me death! They had many pretentious beverage options, but not all of the basics. There were not enough employees working the concession stand, so a large group of customers ended up just standing there, late for our movies, while food eventually trickles out the back. Overall, no one in my group was particularly impressed by this theater, except for the very nice ladies room, and from what Im reading, it is nowhere near as impressive as the ArcLight in Los Angeles, which I have been hearing about for years. If I return, I will be smuggling in my Sprite Zero.
Attended a free showing of The Matrix. Cinema itself looks great, and the staff were very warm and friendly. Found street parking very close so it was convenient (but it was a rainy Tuesday night so I guess we were lucky!). Our seats didnt recline but I didnt find this a problem and they were comfortable enough for the 2 hr plus movie. Have a movie booked for a Saturday night so will see how different it is going on the w/end.
Honestly, I would have given this theater a 5-star rating but they fall short on so many of the promises that they advertise on their website. they say they dont allow latecomers into the theater, but I saw a staff telling someone to let a late movie goer in and there was a small group of people who came late into my show. The staff are young kids just like in any other movie theater. They detract from the high-end experience that this theater is supposedly selling. I would rather go to a less fancy theater that does not put on airs about their business. The technology in the actual theater was high quality and the seats were very comfortable, but I have been to theaters with bigger and more comfortable seating than this. I would say its an average theater but for me it is definitely out of the way and I would not go back again for this kind experience.
Very cool cinema! The process with ordering food is great, use the touch pad and take your ticket, after a few minutes theres your food! The bar is great with amazing views of the city. The cinema itself is great the only let down is the seats, they could recline a little further.
Can’t express my love for ArcLight enough! 100% my fave theater in boston. They truly elevate the movie going experience. I recently became a member of ArcLight and they have made me feel nothing but special. If you have not been yet, you should definitely consider visiting.
From Boston but currently California resident. The hollywood location is where I see a good chunk of film. The Boston one...It’s nice. The theatres are new, picture and sound are great. But honestly y’all HAVE to do something about the parking situation. It’s sucks. It’s expensive. The least y’all could do if validate for a few hours.
This new place is great! Just went to the soft opening this weekend and saw “Ford vs. Ferrari” in a comfy recliner, sipping a Stormalong cider and munching the nacho dog. Before the show... there’s an expansive cafe bar with open lounge area and table service all overlooking the hustle of Causeway Street.Yea, this is my new favorite movie theater in Boston.
Great new cinema for movies. Gorgeous, large lobby, self-service ordering at the snack bar, and some of the friendliest staff I’ve encountered. Definitely recommend this place. In the theaters some seats recline and if you prefer the rear rows do not - same price, it’s your choice.
Newest new theater in Boston! Next to Tip ONeil Federal Building & TDGardens-North Station. Amazing sound system & clear screens w comfortable recliner seats sit back and relax w their signature popcorn ... delicious!
Great Theatre with GREAT customer service. Definitely recommend coming to this theatre.By the way, There was a worker named Alfredo I believe. Best customer service I’ve had in a while coming from him. He deserves 5 stars himself!
Nice new movie theatre. We were the only one in the movie. It was great.
Brand new theater with a different approach to taking in a movie. Arclight incorporates some service features from cut rate theaters, eliminating people in the food ordering process by making orders kiosk only. A relatively limited menu makes this possible, and real people will hand you your snacks after payment. The theater also features a nice full service bar overlooking the city. Hoping the arclight membership program will save you some money when making online orders too. Worth checking out.
Staff was great, super fancy seating and food service compared to any other theater in the area. Ive been to four Arclights total so far, and this one seems the best set up for success, hope I get to see it during the weekends sometime, it was relatively empty on monday and Wednesday.
There are only a couple of rows of reclining seats per theater, the escalator up is always broken, the food is OK, but nothing like they show at the beginning of the trailers. Overall its OK, but there are better theaters I would rather attend in Boston.
Has a lovely experience. With quality staff and great drinks.
Amazing customer service, beautiful theater, and excellent cocktails. After experiencing ArcLight, I cant imagine going back to AMC.
Seats are widely uncomfortable (even the reclining seats) and you cannot bring drinks from Sound Advice (movie theater bar) to the theater, which would have been nice to know. It is crazy hot in this place!
At The Rise of Skywalker opening night 8pm showing and my reclining seat doesn’t work. I see multiple people with same issue. I paid $15.50 for my ticket but the seat is broken!
Great service. Good beer and wine, and the popcorn is excellent.
Loved the experience. This is where we will see our movies.
Had a horrible experience at the theater due to an extremely rude group. The theater was very empathetic and made things right with our group.Very nice theater experience.
I live across the street and I have been waiting for this theatre and all the restaurants at The Hub to open! As a perk Arclight provided free year membership for all residents in the building! This was the first thing that impressed me! As an avid movie goer I have been used to AMC monthly program and wanted to try Icon in seaport but refused to pay the price for a ticket! Arclight is a luxury theatre with amazing seats, roomy reclining seats, giant screens and rules that make any moviegoer happy!Late? Can’t enter the movieChatty people? Simply tell anyone in the lobby!I’ve been waiting for service like this! No one wants to see Harriet Tubman with 2 year old children running up and down the aisle.Goodbye AMC!!!!!
Love the bar setup and no pre-movie commercial policy.
Classy new cinema, itd be nice if they validated parking. Im told theyre working on it
Coming to this theater after reading the reviews is by far the stupidest idea Ive had in a long time. Not only the theater is very hard to get to with incredibly difficult parking, they have terrible seats andt actually charge extra. What a poorly thought-out project.
Saw the Boston premiere of uncut gems...unreal movie... the theater was quite nice, priced as any theater should be in its neighborhood...self pay/order concessions is convenient
Awesome theater. Great movie experience.
Great movie experience with amazing staff!
Awesome clean theater. My recliner seat was not working unfortunately...
Went to see Knives out and the movie broke halfway through.....guess this is the future of expensive movies lol
