I visited the casino after our whole Covid-19 crisis.They are having a device verify peoples temperature at the casino entrance.The casino layout is the same, and the standards are nearly identical.So much open space and so many old games.They have disabled a huge number of games to create social distancing.They could space the games and create more play.Service is positive and their team is trying to put on a happy face.Overall, the vibe is positive. With a sports book and the track and more new games this place will be a blast.

This place has become lower than low..I said many times Ill never be back...Ill never ever be back here..dated,run down.money pit..now they dont serve alcohol after 10pm..Pretty much was an expensive bar, give em a hundred, drink six beers..Harrahs Id remove my name if I were you..I used to be a fan ..not anymore .Theres better places to go..Looser Downs .

RIP off, I hit a jackpot here and the machine went into full tilt mode. No recourse because they have written it written on the machines that Tilts voids all pays and plays. It doesnt matter that you did nothing to cause the tilt. With this notice they can in theory pre-program a tilt whenever theirs a big payout and you cannot argue against the disclaimer posted because its unconditionally voids fair play.

Impressed how well they made sure everyone felt safe while visiting. Cleaning up after guest leave area. Took our tempature before we entered building.

Entirely too smoky. Coronavirus is airborne and no one smokes thru a mask. Observed patron not smoking or drinking but his mask was under his chin. Not acceptable. Dangerous.

This is very nice casino and we watch the horses also the restaurant had good selection of delicious food i like good food and they had it in restaurant

Wonderful warm friendly attention came from the staff as well as well mannered, polite & respectful conversations while joining the Caesars rewards club. The machines are hot at all the different times of the day....i really enjoy drinking coffee and feeling comfortable while Im spending my hard earned money... Its worth the drive just to stay 10 minutes or 10 hours....i just wish they sold food on those portable drink carts.

Small compared to my usual place: Winstar!! Overall nice, good games.

Nice Casino. Greeted at the door. Its only one floor but laid out well. Employees are pleasant and will help you with any questions. Harrahs is always giving gifts and drawings for their players when you swipe your card. You earn points to use for food and gift store and slot machine play. They have a nice buffet and desserts that are mouth watering.

Horseracing - poor lighting everywhere. Needs renovation. 2nd/3rd flrs closed too often. Improvement needed in more food counters that are opened earlier in the morning. TV screens are closed when early track broadcasts have started broadcasting. Promotion/better marketing is needed. Horseracing over the years is declining in US. This mediocre track is getting by in the bottom half of US tracks but at least it is wimping along above the walking dead e.g. San Antonio TX track. .

I give it Five Stars. But I was not there.

Cant say too many good things about LA Downs. Yani & Tremain are great bartenders. Really there isnt anyone that isnt an exceptional employee here.Fudruckers has great burgers that are made to order.Pam is awesome at the Paddock bar.

I worked here and the maintenance supervisor is down to earth and easy to work for. None of the games like at Horseshoe. Would work him again anytime.

We love the Horse Races and go often. Win some lose some always fun! Glad they have the Cashier back at the Grandstand hated going downstairs to collect winnings. Would be nice to have a snack bar on the Grandstand level too. Valet parking guys and girls are awesome and do a great job. We always tip them for a job well done. Overall a great place to go and have fun.

My husband and I held our wedding reception at Louisiana Downs this weekend. Phyllis W. and staff were absolutely great to work with from the very beginning. The venue was clean and easy to access. And all my guest bragged about how great the food was. I highly recommend Louisiana Downs for your next event.

It was a nice casino! Very big truck parking! Their customer service was excellent! We were asked a few times if we needed drinks or anything. Nice variety of new and older machines. Very festive for decorations. Smoking is allowed but to me you couldnt smell it! Tbh it smelled like cotton candy in some parts which I thought was awesome!

Fun but slots were tight.

Come here for the New Year fireworks. It last about 15 mins. Besides the fireworks, I didnt find anything else can be fun around here. The place always smells old and trash is everywhere.

Very nice casino. Wished I wouldve won some money this time (frown face), but I had a great experience overall. Also they had a small Memorial Day carnival experience for kids and grownups while people watched live horse racing. That was so much fun! Would love to come back for the Memorial day event again.

Of all my years coming to Boosier City Louisiana, Ive never visit Harrahs Casino until today and I had a great time. The slot machines are very tight and not hitting much but overall I had fun playing. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and keep the drinks coming.

Only has slots no table games, nonsmokers may find it offensive. Great parking for truck drivers. Won $$. which was unexpected. Didnt get a chance to check out buffet or eateries.

One of only 2 casinos in the area that held live poker. I had no complaints and i am used to the Atlantic City casinos in my area. People were all nice and looked clean and spacious to me. would go here again if in area.

Need better drink service

Slid out to Louisiana Downs at Bossier City, LA for some horse racing simulcasting. Went for lunch. The facility is very spacious, colorful and nice. They have a nice selection of food and plenty of places to sit and bet. The self serve betting machines were plentiful. They also have a casino connected to the track to slot wager as well. Plenty of history and things to see at this facility. A+ if you need a nice afternoon visit out....

Casino need better ventilation system for cigarette smoke or do like lot of casinos and carve off a smoking area and make rest non smoking. Plenty of slots. Didnt stay long on either of the two trips there while traveling, but didnt hear jackpot yells. Plenty of inside with air conditioner and outside seats to watch horse racing. OTB machines inside if want to bet on live or simulcast races from other tracks. Can bring children to races, but they cant bet. Food and snack bar at race section and casino. Plenty of parking, but could use more handicap parking. Need more cashiers at race track.

No one ever wins here

Would not accept legal Mexican id or an Id from a different state. Security was extremely rude and on a power trip. Place was nasty anyway so we went to the horseshoe and won. I have won at several harrahs but Ill never give them another dime.

I love the selection of slots machines and as it is with every Total Rewards location, everyone is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Mom and I visited for the first time and we love this place. Lots of quarter machines and mom hit a little something something. Planning another trip here soon

I didnt go in to gamble, just with friends who enjoy the machines. I was happy that the cigarette smoke was minimal, but VERY disappointed about only ONE restaurant!

I always enjoy my visits here at the casino. The cocktail waitress are always polite and use what they have to make what you all for. It would be better if they could make basic cocktails work the correct intestines instead of having to go Matt a version of with substitute ingredients.

Is this a racetrack or not. I called 4 times on 4 different days trying to get reservations for BREEDERS CUP. NOV. 1& 2. ( Which by the way is a huge meet for horses around the globe) Trying to get Harrahs club seats.. Thwy are not going to be open. RACETRACK ????

Fun Fun Fun Had another great day at Louisiana Downs Harrahs casino . One of my favorite places to relax . Seems like everyone was winning. Great food at Fudruckers hotels and restaurants close by and right off the interstate. Simulcast and some of the best games out there. Cash drawings and if you enjoy a drink theres a drink cart rolling by every few minutes. One of my favorite places to relax.

I lost an item while inside the casino. Security was able to locate the item and return it to me.

One of the few casinos around that starts you out with free play and sometimes gives a decent amount for free play. Cant say they have the best variety of slots but at least sometimes their slots pay better or let you play for a while on your money.

We had a great time. Has been awhile since we visited this casino. They have a horse track, and slot machines. Beer does cost $1.00. I was a little shocked over that, but overall we had a nice time. Very clean and staff were great.

More people should go to the track in Bossier. It is a great time, yes, even for families. Ive long called it my #1 place to take your significant other on a date. There is time between the races to talk, get food, get drinks, and enjoy the day. A day at the races with a big group of friends is a huge hit.
