Great 1 mile loop around a sparkling pond. Public restrooms, sitting benches along the route, and plenty of parking spaces. Dogs welcome on leash.

Decent trail that is paved and has a nice pond view. There is prairie grassland and wildlife if youre into that as well. Also has an open grassy area for picnics and games. If my dog didnt Houdini out of his leash every time I come to this place I might have given it 5 stars, but honestly just a good place not the best though. ;)

Asphalt trail around the reservoir. About 20 min to walk around entirely. Savanna and woodlands surrounding artificial lake aka reservoir. There is plenty of birds all the time. along the walking path are plenty of benches and garbage cans. Close to the main entrance, from US-20 / Lake St are located picnic tables and restroom, usually decent clean

Ar

Ma
Review №21

The place is always clean and everyone I meet there is friendly. I havent had any luck fishing there yet, but I just have to figure out the lake. I was told they shocked the lake to check the fish numbers the day I went and supposedly the numbers were good. Hopefully I do better the next time I go.

Nice 1.2 mile paved trail around a fishing reservoir. Good for walking, running, or biking. Someone just needs to send in a person to trim back some of the overgrown trees and shrubs on the trail!!

Its a paved path around a sad pond, not much to see. Its ok if you are just looking for a path to walk on

Ch
Review №36

Its a nice 15-20 minute loop hike around the water. Definitely nothing special compared to other places in the Dupage system. The eastern portion of the path overlooks an area that does have potential for wildlife watching but nothing was out the day I was there. On plus side it has real bathroom with running water and hand dryers.

An engrossing locale in Bloomingdale, Spring Creek features hiking paths, a manmade pond, and most notably- a high hill. The high hill is a unique departure from the dreadfully flat, boringlands of Cook County, from which you can view the surrounding landscape and take photos worthy of social media.

Ti
Review №40

This was probably one of my favorite places to visit to walk and enjoy nature. A couple of years ago they stopped cutting the grass and now there is a bunch of tall grass that blocks your view of the big pond...which is a bummer. This place is so beautiful and to hide a pretty view with 6 foot tall grass makes me sad. Otherwise, still a great track to walk! (P.s. this summer they did start to block off areas for construction so thats another downside for this year)

While this place is extremely small, it still deserves 5 stars because the track is almost a mile and does well for the casual biker looking to get mileage in without worrying about traffic. Make sure to bring some form of entertainment as it can get boring.

Review №79

Its nice, but is not great. The first time i was here was when i reserved the shelter to go my sons bday. I really liked that it had plenty of parking, and Real bathrooms. The shelter was clean, and the staff wven stopped by just to go over instructions and give me a garbage bag so i can clean after the party, which i didnt mind at all. Then i came back to bring my 2year older to get in touch with nature (and so we could get some exercise)....that didnt go so well, is just a path that goes around (or another that goes kind of lower, to the edge of pond) and thats it. You cant hike, or wonder off, and the path doesnt even have trees around to make some shade, so the whole time we were walking right under the sun, which was horrible though we had hats and shades on . She got borred pretty quickly and i was only able to distract for a quick minute when we happened to see a couple of butterflies.I recommend this for older people, but definitely not younger kids.
