I must have accidentally activated my GPS, but curiosity got the better of me, and I followed the directions, not knowing where I was going, until I arrived at this park.While I didnt explore the park, I did walk over to the small, enclosed dog park. It was very good to see the dogs interacting with each order, while their humans supervise.Perhaps, if Im back in the area, Ill check out the rest of the park.

Good place to workout friendly people all around you and they have clean bathrooms...and a kids sections.with a huge jungle gym for then to play ..I must say all the parks in Newark wont even open the bathrooms but this is the place to be.

I go there almost everyday for a stroll. I really like the park. Love to walk & then sit down in the bench & watch the kids playing in the field.

Beautiful park. Nice neighborhood. Family oriented. Nice park for jogging, walking, reading and relaxing. Childrens playground is brand new, with complete renovations. Beautiful job. Playing fields for softball, soccer and Football. Walking distance from nearby Bloomfield shopping district on Bloomfield Ave and Broad Street, Bloomfield College, Bloomfield Station, NJ Transit bus lines 11, 28, 29, 34, 72 and GO28 and the Parkway.

Very peaceful vibe. The playground soccer/football field is very spacious as well as the basketball court and playground for kids

Nice equipment but its not the cleanest park. Alot of garbage around. It would be nice if they had staff doing temperature checks for Covid-19 symptoms. The park gets overcrowded with children and adults.

Surprising gem of a park located alongside the Garden State Parkway on busy Bloomfield Avenue. This is a massive county park that continues back from Bloomfield Avenue to the Bloomfield-Glen Ridge-Orange border. The play park is newly renovated and done well, but don’t miss out on the bridge area over the stream, or the beautiful mature trees. Continue down Glenwood Avenue to a second part of the park across the street to the rest of the stream, cute little bridges, and charming lampposts along the walking path. We were there on a beautiful first day of winter 2019 watching the ducks as the sun was setting.

Childrens park. Very clean splash fountain park for kids. Busy but not overly crowded. Very clean facilites. Bonus was the free snack and lunch program for kids and families when we were there sponsored by the town if Im not mistaken. Very friendly environment. Son made a few kids there.

Super cute love the water sprinklers! Its a lot of kids that go there and some unattended so you have bigger kids doing silly things but its a nice mix of water and playground. Will visit again.

I love this park! Its steps from my apartment and its my go to place my walks and bike riding. Before they were outlawed in the park, I used to sit with a few friends and smoke cigars and converse on beautiful spring and summer days.

Nice water spray park with a playground right next to the water park. Bring a beach chair if you like to sit in the shade, plenty of benches but most are not by any shade.

This park is always clean, its secure and has lots of activities for Children. The track is great for people with foot or knee issues and there is plenty of space for all kinds of out door activities.

Its nice and quiet and you can just walk around and go for your walk and just relax. There are not to many people here everytime I go.

Completely renovated. The astro turf field is amazing. The kids playground is spacious and family friendly. The parking lot is small but there is a parking garage 1 block away

The kids had a good time, but there was no social distancing. When the pandemic is over, I am sure it will be a safe and comfortable experience.

Its a very nice park for family outing, its also good for little children and they have a water playground for the children to enjoy form 11:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m

Very nice clean park the kids love all the activities the water section i believe they have turned off sprinklers for now with covid the only thing Ive noticed is that children from camps and some parents with there kids are not wearing any mask park clearly has signs everywhere stating to please wear mask

Clean and safe for walk in the park

This is a nice spot to go to if you dont feel like taking your small kids to the beach or a Waterpark. But it tends to get crowded and thats when you feel uncomfortable.

They have the new Spray Park opened here and its beautiful. They have a spacious playground and a track field.

The park is beautiful! There isn’t any area for shade in the playground area but there is a canopy-like section at the entrance of the park. Love that the playground area is completely gated; one way in one way out

This is a fantastic all access park! One of the best and biggest playgrounds I’ve ever visited. Huge variety of equipment to challenge even older kids. Great toddler areas as well. Although I did not see the water park during my visit, the regular playground had a mist area to cool the kids off which was great for a hot day

Nice clean area for the kids to play. They have unique fixtures.. Stands out from the other parks. My kids liked it.

This is a very nice spray park ...its run by the city of eastorange and its free....I didnt really enjoy my stay because its not a smoke free facility....its easy to access and the kids loved the water but it was overcrowded....the city need to employ youths to keep the place clean and redirect the crowd

I love this park I don’t go to downtown Bloomfield too often but when I do I always like to stop in this park I love the brand new playground the park is huge it stretches from Bloomfield Avenue in Bloomfield New Jersey all the way down to the border of Bloomfield in East Orange the park is very pretty and it’s located right off of the Garden State Parkway and there’s a river running through my overall experience atWatsessing Park is very good five stars highly recommended

The sprinkler Park is a great idea. Nice park but very crowded at times.

This park is always my go to when my family needs to relax, for the kids to play and make new play friends. I, personally often go there for a walk. My kids love it there and can play for hours and when to go home they always want to stay more. With the upgraded play ground on the other side of the park is great, we enjoy going there all the times and the ice cream truck that make his stops there add a plus to the fun after play! I like my neighborhood, so far safe for my family!

It was great for an early morning run. My friend and I completed 8 laps at 6 am before work and there was quite a few people there. So we felt very safe. It was cool no complaints here.

This is a lovely park. Theres a new playground for the children. The restrooms are not open on the weekends; however, there are port-a-potties everywhere. My daughter loves the water park. I enjoy walking around the park, its great exercise. Theres something for everyone.

Always been a nice friendly place to visit. I still think they need a fence by the brook though

I exercise here, there is pretty much everything here. They have a water park on warm days, a playground, a track, turf grass and a basketball court, as well as plenty of trails for walking! This park is so awesome! There is a splashpark to play at when the days are hot in the summer. There is a playground that is large. There is a nice path as for walking. It is clean and safe to play at. I havent been there since I was a teenager, I to go and see the water park that was added was awesome. Growing up we just had the brook that ran through the park.

Big family oriented park with a play area for kids, plenty of room for outdoor gatherings; bring you own grills and accessories; mid-sized river for boating; paths for running, biking or a nice long stroll; for the most part crowds are respectful-Ive never had any problems. When visiting Ive always had nice experiences.

Nice water park, gets too crowded sometimes..not enough places to sit (best to take your own chair). They should not let children in without adults because a lot of older kids come and mess it up for the smaller ones who do have parental supervision.

Omg this park need landscaping the trees need pruning along with the hedges especially in the back next to rt 22 the hedges are ridiculously into the road

Being that it is such a huge park with plenty of space, they should have made the sprinkler part of the park 2 to 3 times bigger for the amount of people that frequently go there. Not enough room for the kids to have fun running around without hurting the smaller kids who arent as agile to react when bigger kids are running in their direction. But it is a fun park all around.

I love the place.....i go there all the time...but this morning I had to leave....the smell There was like rotten flesh..the stench was too much...not even my mask could help.
