Great place for some park time, softball, soccer, tennis or basketball they got you covered. Plenty of room and parking.

This park sits by 2-3 large and active basketball courts. The field next to the courts is very large, with enough room for soccer and outdoor community events. Recently there was a community event in the field for an outdoor movie.

Its one of the most complete parks in the town of Bloomfield. It has basketball courts, tennis courts, handball courts, a softball field and a play grounds section for smaller children. It even has restrooms for both men and women. The surprising fact about the park is that it packed in those sports sections all in about the size of a football field, give or take some yardage. Ive seen kids from 4 year olds to high school age boys and girls practice soccer on the softball end of the field. With the right design, I can imagine a couple of small size soccer pitches that could be nicely laid out so some official soccer games for U 12s and under could cooperatively be scheduled against out side competition. I would respectfully encourage the towns heads to evaluate my suggestion to see if even a more functional experience the townspeople could have for their younger ones. I would gladly volunteer my time to such an endeavor since Ive been a 6 plus year resident of Bloomfield and Ive also witnessed my son, his classmates, friends and their family members from within enjoy the opportunity to participate in the recreation the town has successful offered.

The tennis courts are a little run down

Its usually pretty packed because many kids go to play on the basketball court. Lately it hasnt been as packed because of the heat. There are swings in the playground and a tennis court. It also has a baseball field. Its still a great place to go.

$50 a year for the community garden. The people are. The kids dont bother us.parking is limited.

This park includes a new lighted tennis court, a new full and two half basketball courts, a playground for small children, a grass hill for hill sprint workouts and sledding after it snows, and a softball field.Its a nice local park but the basketball rims have double rims and the adjustable height of the rims are never at 10 feet. There is also lighting for tennis courts but no lighting for basketball courts. It is frustrating in the winter when you can barely see the ball at 6 pm.

Great for pictures and hiking in the park

The park is alright. The baseball field is great and you can ball soccer on it. I played soccer there for the past 2 years under the floor lights. The lights combes on about an half hour before sunset which is good for those who wants to play at night but they do turn off about 10bish. The tennis court is playable but recently it has become some what of a safety hazard. Since they power watched the side of the court the rest of it is filled with dust and dirt which makes it very hard to play on.

Its a good park........only if they would fix up the courts..hate playing on a cracked court. One of my friends broke his wrist while playing basketball becuase he fell on a crack

Nice with nice weather, minus the little annoying eleven-teen yr old rascals flicking ll their cigarettes into the waterfall. Lots of lil hideout benches to distress n not bump into someone you know.

Best public tennis courts in the area

I only go with my young kids during the day time hours because of the number of teenagers who hang out there. The bathrooms are locked, so there is no where for kids to go to the bathroom
