Gorgeous Italian gothic cathedral in the heart of Birmingham. Beautiful Sunday mass with medieval and chamber music backed by full pipe organ. A real holy place touched by the Spirit.

Twice been here for weddings and both times blown away by the beauty. Fantastic cathedral and great staff. Highly recommend for any wedding venue.Edit: now three times, still beautiful!

Beautiful old church. It has a history. One of the oldest churches in Birmingham AL. Located on 3rd Ave North. The have a pipe organ and t acoustics in the building is amazing. I try to attend midnight mass at least once a year. The ceremony is outstanding. They play all classical music from Bach Beethoven Handel Messiah Etc. Its like going to a expensive concert. Amazing!

Its a nice small church, a bit basic for a Cathedral. Hardly any parking. You have to park in the street. Expected it to be a bit more grand for it being a cathedral in Birmingham.

This is a very, very Holy place for me. My moms sisters went to school there, a very great friend was ordained a Priest and was laying in state and his last mass said for him. The church has been there along time. It is beautiful inside and out. It needs to be on ones list of must visit while in Birmingham.

The cathedral of Saint Paul is one of the most beautiful churches in Alabama. This jewel offers the sacraments regularly. Confession Monday through Friday 11:30 AM to noon. Daily Mass to follow. There is also 6:30 AM daily mass. Saturday Mass at 5 PM. Sunday Mass, 8:30 AM and 11 AM

Absolutely gorgeous place to visit.I was there for a friends wedding. Even though I didnt get to go to an actual service. The service that was given during the wedding was absolutely phenomenal and quite an amazing experience.Ill definitely be back.

Absolutely stunning and beautiful! This church is a museum basically. All clergy have always been been so friendly and welcoming. The pipe organ and choir are so stimulating to hear. The music is ethereal. We always enjoy going to St. Pauls Cathedral! Come to Midnight Mass on 12am December 25th to get a full St. Pauls Cathedral experience!

Historic and classic to Birmingham. Gorgeous interior. Popular for weddings. The music directors are great at sticking to traditional music. No bible camp worship songs to be heard here. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Church with a lot of traditional hymns at 5pm Saturday and 8:30 and 11:00am Sunday masses. Fr. Jerabek is a great priest that delivers very thoughtful homilies.

I was confirmed under Father Bazzel when I was 27 years old and I love everything about Saint Paul from the people to the atmosphere and how Father Jerabek and Father Altonji greet and treat people well along with Deacon Neal Kay And Deacon Wally.

If you plan on hiring a photographer and or videographer, I wouldnt get married there. I was only allowed to use a mono pod on the floor near the entrance. Pretty difficult to hold a monopod over the heads of guest to capture the lovely seated couple. However, I was allowed to place a tripod in loft area and capture everones backside during processional..
