Beautiful, yet haunting memorial to Alabamas veterans. The sounds and serenity of nature, with numerous benches and resting places along the path to the memorial itself. My favorite local place to walk, to remember, and to meditate.

There are NO RESTROOMS, there are CAMERAS. This is a very nice Memorial park.

A nice bricked path stroll to the base of the huge American flag that can be seen from 459. Then on to an impressive memorial to our Alabama Veterans. And so close to home!

Go see the list of names, youll be astounded at the number of Alabamians who served our country proudly. It is a wonderful monument to their service.
