This is a nice place to see cool art and hear music that you cant hear anywhere else.

Great local artists, great and unique selection of art, and great company. Their art town social was fun and had free drinks and food. The people were friendly and welcoming.

O.K. I have heard, and understand the issue that went down, and frankly I support Yellowhammer as a non-profit, and their mission. I am an artist, both performance and visual, and have been very supportive of Art Town, because it is a unique space with lots of potential to be a community hub for artists and good causes. As I understand it, the owner of the property has realized his mistake with cancelling the Fundraiser of Yellowhammer. And as I see it, a re-set is underway! Artists, Musicians, Theater and Film. This place has so much potential to be a Cross-roads for the Arts. A new Board, with progressive ideas will emerge, and there will be a chance to bring everyones voice to the table. Hopefully, we will be able to realize the opportunity to create an exciting cross-cultural artistic renewal in East Lake. Mistakes forever create learning opportunities, and open discussion for dialog, exchange, and growth. Stay with on this path of promise. Light is returning.

What a mess. Amaros a major player in the area. not sure why REV is associated with the guy other than he controls East Lake. sad to see so much potential squandered away by the actions of a single guy.

This place cancelled an event on us that had been fully disclosed where proceeds would go, scheduled and promoted for a whole month! How low and unprofessional of a venue space. Will not be doing any business here. Take your events elsewhere.

The owner didn’t bother with researching the event they agreed to host and cancelled because the safety and well being of others are less important than their own dated beliefs

They cancelled an event benefiting three different local nonprofits/coops the week of the event after being booked for a month because they decided they were too bigoted to host our event. Sad and disrespectful unprofessional service. Host your events elsewhere. Not surprised they are backed by conservatives who can’t event respect other east lake progressives enough to finish out their contract. Then sent their friends after to discredit me, but their former employee was the one who made sure they got the folder with all the event information in it. So not only are they irresponsible, unprofessional, but they are also liars.

Art Town is my friends and community in the arts of performance, visual, music and poetry, what we need to survive and thrive and heal.

Cancelled the event the week of and didn’t bother contacting organizers, despite the proceeds going to benefits three local nonprofits. Shame. Provided a folder a month before the event with every detail, and then instead of providing some kind of professionalism, they sent their friends out on social media to discredit the organizers and blame them for their disorganization and bigotry.
