First off I was born in Lucedale, Mississippi and have been here many times in my life. But as for my fiance, she has never been to or seen a beach. I always love to visit when I can from where I live in Topeka, Kansas. That is where she was born and raised. She loved every minute we were there at the beach, cruising hwy 90, and just the driving and looking at the sites. She loved Shark Heads. Overall I say we have been satisfied and enjoyed every single thing we did all day. Thanks for the hospitality Mississippi.
This area is my home although I live in New Mexico. If you like to fish, boat, or just lounge at the beach this is the place. The numerous rivers allow for many recreation activities as well. If you go in the summer though be warned, it feels like a sauna 100% of the time. It makes water activities ideal. If you wait for fall or winter the only thing that changes is its to cold to swim. Everything else is still a go. We usually can wear shorts and sandals Christmas day. Lol The nightlife is very nice too. There are numerous casinos lining the immediate coast from Biloxi,MS to the Louisiana/Mississippi State line. 1 hour from Mobile,AL and 45 min from New Orleans,LA. So the airports are near by as well.
No complaints here. Great place to take souvenir pictures and get good souvenirs, although they are quite pricey but mostly fair. Staff was okay. You need your ID to make credit card purchases. Overall, this was good place.
Loved it we havent even left yet and are already planning our next trip back!
Took a nice stroll along the beach and then sat on a bench for a few moments. It was a nice experience.
Beautiful weather today to compliment my pleasant day spent at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Beach. Ample space available for a non crowded fulfilled sandy adventure. The cleanliness of the shore is quite disappointing.
So many fun things and amazing food even amidst the covid-19 crisis. The MS Gulf Coast has been a get away for us since the 90s and this trip was just as meaningful.
Best place in the world in my opinion.
Very nice man made beaches, small crowds, park and walk distance to water is minimal
We always love visiting the Mississippi Gulf Coast, whether and extended stay or a day trip.
We always have a great time when we come. This trip was a family trip which made it even better
Had a blast. Food at restaurants is pricey but very very good. Souvenirs arent to bad.
Its a Dueitt family tradition 4 years strong had the best 4th July yet cant wait tell next year
Perfect weather the last 3 days for Cruising the Coast
Have to pass MS gulf coast during the Cruising the Coast event! It’s an amazing event to attend! Especially if you enjoy watching beautiful, iconic vehicles pass by or definitely catch something pass by that’s truly unique!! The only thing is the police are EVERYWHERE now and take the fun out of the entire experience. Also at one point our 73 camaro was almost completely out of gas and the cops would not let us turn at the nearest gas station but drive an additional 15 mins down the strip to the next gas station! We just made it.Update: 10.10.20Beautiful weather for cruising!!!! It was not very congested because of the previous bad weather and covid. Really had so much fun this 2020 year!
Great visit for Crusin the Coast!!! Will go ever year!!!
Mississippi Gulf Coast is a coastal region of Mississippi State of the USA alongside of Gulf of Mexico. It consists of 3 counties named as Harison, Jackson and Hancock. It is truly beautiful part of Mississippi with the beautiful cities as Gulfport and biloxi City, Pascagoula City. Gulport is the second largest populated city in Mississippi after the Capital Jackson City in Hinds country. I will highly encourage tourists to come to Mississippi Gulf Coast to enjoy and realux and feel and experience the Southern Culture and Hospitality. I also enjoyed my stay here in the Gulf coast and explore most of the places.
I loved my adventure today
Very Relaxing An excellent place to relax, paint and watch my kids play
So far so good
Fun fact the Mississippi gulf coast is home to the longest man made beach in the world! It stretches over 26 miles here in harrison county. While the water may not be great all the time the people are. Great place to live and visit!
Good place to avoid the crowd
Friendly people. They need to make 90 one way west and pass road east one way on event like scrapping the coast and cruising.
So much stuff to do! Beautiful clean beaches to enjoy, delicious food to try, amazing wildlife to observe. This is my home and I still marvel at it every day
This is the fourth time that we come down to Cruising The Coast Hotel. Usually, it is very crowded Friday and Saturday night. This year it was so bad that you couldn’t bring a classic car on the road you just sit there and idle. These cars are not made to sit and idle but to move so they can stay cool. The last night we could cruise was Thursday night. It took us 1 hour and a half to go 2.8 miles. I was checking out license plates, about 95 percent MS . I brought my whole family as did three of our friends from AR. we’re from TX. the police were so bad that they took all the fun out along with not being able to access the road to cruise. No thanks, we will find somewhere else. Not worth the trip, sorry
The sunrises and sunsets are some of the best Ive seen!
I enjoy the view every time I go.
Love it every time
Wonderfully memorable Holiday Season with Christ, family and friends! Let us not be swift to anger, or to harbor resentment in our hearts, but be of joyous spirit!

Favorite place to visit !
Long empty beaches in January.
Family and fun
Love going to the coast for the views always clean beaches and always have a good time with family or friends.
Nice beaches.
Neat to see differences amongst our countrys coastline. This area is least favorite as far as coasts go but the area is full of culture history and isnt done telling its story. Will visit again as there is so much to explore and discover. Note: I only saw coastline in and around the Biloxi area so...
Great food and friendly people
We love hanging out on the beach with the kids. We go back frequently. It is always clean. The downside is I am concerned about swimming in the water. Sometimes the bacteria levels get to high to swim. Not worth the risk in my opinion
Simply beautiful!
