My absolutely favorite place to see the sunrise, quiet, safe, secluded and overlooking the city, you get an unobstructed view of the entire skyline. Lots of paved trail to run, bike, hike, walk. 5 parking spots but empty at sunrise. Dont miss this, the birds sing for you too.

Great views of Billings, the Yellowstone River Valley, the beautiful cliffs known as the Billings Rims. Interesting monument to Yellowstone Kelly, a local version of Buffalo Bill.

Go at Sunset to see a spectacular view looking over downtown Billings. Very cool, educational experience for history buffs and out of towners.

This is nice, I remember coming here years ago all there was, was a plaque on his grave. What a great way to show respect for this mountain man, Explorer and trapper! As for the black otter trail its a nice hike I start at boot hill cemetery and walk to the rest area and back.

We really enjoyed the interpretive site. Its amazing to know that Yellowstone Kelly traveled and mapped much of the Dakotas and Montana. Truly an inspiration and the start of our History lesson of this great state.
