Funny how every single time I try to go here during OPEN HOURS, they’re CLOSED! On 12-21, I went around 5:30. Hours claimed it was open online, and upon my arrival, the hours on the door stated that their hours were 12P-6P for that day and they were still closed. Gave it the benefit of the doubt because maybe it was slow and they closed earlier. So next day, 12-22. I go at 3P IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY! And they were closed yet again. Not only that, but there’s a sign on the door stating they will be opening TODAY AT 2P! 2 times I went out of my way to go here and both times, they are closed. A note on the door stating we are closed for the holidays or closed these days would have been acceptable. But nothing was stated at all. I then made my way to another local game store, did my business over there, and will most likely not be considering going to another game gallery again... because if I do, THEY WILL STILL BE CLOSED!!!!!!
We had purchased an original Nintendo at a pawn shop in which we were told it was working only to find out not only did it work but it began smoking! The pawn shop was strict about no refunds, only credit, even with our case so we left very disappointed and a friend recommended this placeNot only was the owner very friendly and informative without losing me in game lingo, and this is the very reason Im on here as I dont review many places, they repaired the console and when we mentioned it would have to be the weekend as we couldnt make it by the time the store closed, the owner took it upon himself to DRIVE it to my workplace. We dont know many places that would do that, would recommend in a heart beat and they have gained our family as longtime customers, thank you again if you see this
^In regards to the above post, this gentleman has not once set foot in our shop (placed a compliment before his negativity, classic passive aggression), left a review two months after we werent open, and has been seen on game sites that we help run selling games at double/triple their value and became upset when confronted by multiple page followers and ourselves as admins of said page(s) called him out. This is the end result and its simply pathetic honestly. To clarify on our behalf, simply because Goggle review does not allow responses. Weve have been closed at this location since November of 2016 and will be re-locating to South Side in Spring 2017.We are a family owned business and always offer competitive prices as weve been open for over 6 years; we wouldnt have been going this long if any of these statements were true. We re-seal games that contain manuals to ensure they will be available for a guest that is actually going to purchase the game as people tend to take the manuals for whatever reason. We do not and have never re-sealed a game and acted as if it was new and in all reality, you can easily spot a game that is factory sealed or done by anyone. Especially if you are a true blue collector but regardless, we tell everyone that games out on the floor are re-sealed and again, only cased, disc games are done in this manner as cartridges are not re-sealed and the prices are placed on the side and not on the label for easy removal.
