Awesome atmosphere, awesome band. Get there a little early if youre in the over 30 crowd. After 1am, polite good going college kids. Live music, always a treat.

This place was a lot more fun over 25 years ago. There were better bands playing. Still a good place to get drunk any day of the week.

Great dive bar! Cheap drinks, fast and friendly bar tenders. They have live music usually on the weekends. Fun atmosphere and bar, cheap drinks and they always have specials. Two things to note cash only and you can smoke inside. I don’t mind that as other reviews have listed those as a negative. Really great local bar!

Last Bastion of Live Music

New management is ruining this once favorite local haunt. Ive been seeing Live bands at this bar for over 15 years, met many friends, spent plenty of money, never caused any trouble. Now, the owners son refuses entry to people he simply does not like, which is outright insulting after such a long history of faithful patronage. Ill miss all the good times at the Funhouse, but honestly SouthSide 313 is a much better Live music hangout in the same neighborhood with greater beer selection, plus an excellent food menu (The Funhouse serves no food and is cash-only with exorbitant ATM surcharges).

Cheap drinks and a fun atmosphere. Just be warned, they so allow smoking indoors. The back patio is nice though.

Place was cool in the middle of quiet town. The bartenders are attentive and fast, there was live music, you could smoke out back or get some air, and there wasnt a line for the pool table, even came with a guy to give me pointers and some trivia about the Gotham City looking structure I saw in the fog on the drive over.. thanks David from New Jersey!!

Fantastic dive bar with plenty of stickers and graphitti on the walls. Cheap beer. Went to see my friends band play on a Thursday. No cover happily. No one under 21.

Great for those missing the days of a smokey dive bar. Live music most nights raises it slightly above those typical spot. However I could do without the smoking.

Not a bad place if your into the bar scene witch I am not into bar scenes I met a lady hear Her choice of meeting 1st time in public I met her in a online chat forum for singles.... This place is WAY to smokey for me OMG I had issues breathing from all the people smoking. I am 39yrs old got asked to provide ID a few times by bar staff witch I did not like after the fact I was checked and verified of Legal Age @ the door and then ask me to provide ID 2 other times at the table by two different wait staff... and for the place being small to begin with OMG the noise level I had to pay close attention to my female friend to keep up with the conversation...Would rate better if place went to Non-Smoking & had Bigger Space.... Too Cramped once inside

One of my favorite dive bars I have been to.

Three of my friends were denied entry (that were 23) because their IDs were fake. Very rude. Very unprofessional. Very ridiculous. Somehow the woman in the front just knows whats real and whats fake. Get a scanning device and stop the B.S.
