Beautiful and small neighborhood park. Enough room for social distancing, but beware there are many young families without facial masks. Accessible by the Ohlone Greenway bike trail, some shade and an enclosed playground.

A charming community park with a large lawn, a playground, and a small party area that can be reserved for picnics and parties. Every Saturday you can count on hearing the laughter if children, and in soccer season the complaints of competitive parents.... It is very well maintained. It has community gardens across onr street, basketball courts across the other. The bike path forms the edge on the north end, opposite the grill & playground. Dogs on leashes, the dog park is six blocks away on bike path.

Two different play structures for different aged kids. Plenty of grass available for use. Can be used for small and large gatherings.

Thisis out local park. We love it. They need to fix water fountains and I wish there was a decent bathroom. There is a gross one with no door or sink. Playgrounds are great and grassy space is very nice.

Its a very nice and clean park especially for younger children.

Nice park, but no public restrooms and grass was pretty muddy even though were dead in the middle of a dry, hot summer. Overall not bad, but the lack of bathroom might be a deal-breaker if you have kids.

Large grassy field with plenty of space for lots of groups to play. I frequently see lots of soccer groups (including Soccer Shots, which my son loves and has been doing for years) playing and practicing, a local Quidditch team (always fun to watch!), Etc. Its a good park for birthday parties and picnics, I frequently see bouncy houses set up here for parties on the weekends. My son actually had his last birthday party here and we had a great time, its an excellent parks for playing with giant bubbles! Not very many picnic areas, and they cant be reserved, but if you really need to make sure you have one of the few picnic tables just come early and have someone hang out and hold it before your party gets there, or better yet bring your own folding tables as there is plenty of space to set one up. There are two playground areas, one enclosed by a fence which is better for little ones, and plenty to interest bigger kids, too. There is only one partially open-air bathroom, usually pretty clean and almost always has toilet paper, but I usually like to come here with napkins/extra toilet paper or diaper wipes in my bag just in case since there is only the one bathroom -- thats really the only drawback to this park as far as Im concerned, and its not even enough to take away a star, it is really just something to be aware of if youre coming here and havent been before. There is also a community center but Ive never seen it open and we have never looked into what kind of events happen there, I just know that it exists. There are even tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, some of which are across the street. The bike trail runs right next to the whole park. Overall we love this place and come here all the time, totally recommend it.

Iconic Berkeley park, killer for frisbee.

This is an ok park to bring small children. There are 2 play structures for different age ranges. The issue is the city doesnt do so well in managing the park atmosphere. From time to time adults will hang out close to play structures and smoke cigarettes. Ive also found broken beer bottle glass in the sand, but that seemed like an isolated incident. My daughter likes the park, but I prefer others around the city.

I was only there for a little while. I very much liked what I saw. Clean and well maintained with no doggy smells.

Not much to do too much people not minding their business no privacy

Nice big open place to be at a park. Usually really busy. Often overfull with soccer or other sports teams, regular weekend parties leave their party trash all over, and people are regularly inconsiderate about leaving the area clean or undamaged, or just accommodating others while using the space.

Nice, clean park near North Berkeley Bart with grills, 2 small playgrounds and an open field. Quiet and Peaceful in an accessible location with public transportation access and generally easy parking.

We love spending time at this park, generally clean and well maintained. It has sections for toddlers and slightly older kids.. Definitely a place to go if you have kids..

Quint little local park. A good place to play team sports and has a playground for kids. The bathroom is just a shack with no door.

Good for hanging out or playing with kids and dogs. Magically, *not* filled with transients unlike many other Berkeley parks. Dont know how long that will last.

Two parks, one fenced in for ages 2-5. Sand, wood chips & bounce turf. Plus a large soccer field and portico which you can rent for birthday parties.

I nice flat grass expance perfect for frisbee with a dog or friends.

Also known as turtle park due to the dapper turtle statue next to the play structure. 2nd best turtle state in berkeley. (#1 is the one on a surfboard.)

Good for the younger kids. Only one big kid swing and two toddler swings. Nice open grassy area that gets lots of use, kites, Frisbee, even saw high wire balancing once. Right on Ohlone Greenway so easy to get to on bicycles.

A bit seedy after dark, otherwise great walking/running trails and wide open spaces to play!
