Милый парк. В парке периодически происходит продажа растений. Приятно походить по тенистым извилистым тропинкам. The Regional Parks Botanic Garden is a naturally beautiful and tranquil living museum of California native plants. Located within Tilden Park in the hills above Berkeley, California, this enchanting 10-acre garden is a sanctuary for many of the state’s rare and endangered plants and a place for visitors to wander among trees, shrubs, flowers, and grasses from plant communities throughout the state.

This garden is so peaceful and serene. One thing that I really enjoy about it is that you can find a little seclusion. Youll never be truly alone in the wilderness, but you can certainly experience a sense of solitude if thats what you need. There was a wedding party last time I went, but the beauty of it is that the garden is big enough that it can meet multiple needs at once. Highly recommend.Sorry I dont have the names of the plants below, hope the descriptions are helpful.

The garden is peaceful and features a glorious array of CA natives from throughout the state. Includes a redwood grove on one side and many small trails. It was built in the 1940s and has an Old World feel.

Among my favorite spots in the East Bay. Love to walk the paths and breathe in the nature. Plenty of benches and a glade to lie down on the grass. In spring and summer the garden is in bloom. Unique to the bay you can find plants from nearly every corner of the state (California) including a grove of Sequoia Redwoods plus Coastal Redwoods, desert cactus, chaparral, ferns, live oaks, cypress, pines, and more. People who have mobility issues may find the garden is not the best since most trails involve stairs or steep ups and downs.

Beautiful, quiet and peaceful, this botanical garden has many plants native to California an the area. The small paths will lead you to quiet corners where you can sit and rest, and the intertwined paths are a lot of fun for kids. It acts almost like a little maze - you never know which path will lead where and kids loved playing in there.

A retreat from the hustle of the city to baptize yourself in the embrace of nature of a great variety of trees, bushes, flowers, bridges, and winding trails. The Park even provide free WiFi in its mountainous terrain. A joyful place for a serene and recluse break.

This is a great ‘first date’ spot for romantics. Go early (they open at 8:30) to have the views, clear air, bird song and the stream all to yourselves. Later in the day is fine too, it’s never that busy. The paths wind through shaded paths thick with ferns and shrubs. Redwoods tower above. A rare gem of a place so close to the urban scene.

This park might seem daunting when you first enter. SO many different named plants, theres no way to keep track. Then you relax and figure out that the park is organized by regions within the State, and that those plants share common characteristics with each other (and with some of the other regions as well). So many different habitats represented in one place. Marvelous!! The trails are varied and well maintained. I was so captivated I had to walk almost all of the trails. Nice hike. This place is definitely worth your time and your support.

One of the nicest escapes in the East Bay is to visit the Botanical Gardens in Tilden Park. April and May are particularly nice when the flowers are blooming and everything is rejuvenating from winter.Lots of paths wind through the gardens. Just take your time and stroll aimlessly, the more detours you take the better youll enjoy the gardens.

One of my favorite places. This garden is devoted to California native plants and trees. It has wonderful redwoods, madrone, and other native trees. There is brush from the manzanita type coverings, a succulent section and a lot of the park is pockets of lawn separating small ponds and other site specific gardens. Through the garden runs a stream that feeds Lake Anza. This is a great place for a picnic, safe for small children and has been one of my places to get away, set up a chair or take over a bench and do some writing. It is also a good spot for a date.
